CDC H1N1 forced quarantine docs leak
Last night Zero Hedge obtained some interesting documents from the CDC web site. They contain blank 'forced quarantine' orders from Iowa and Florida regarding novel H1N1 -- including quarantine to a 'secure detention center'-- which appear to be recent -- dated April 2009. Some may be aware the NIH and CDC just held an H1N1 conference in DC -- August 19-21 2009 -- that focused on 'mass fatality management'. For many, this should be cause for concern. As is becoming clear, our government is quite corrupt. The idea that this same government is now preparing for forced quarantine and mass vaccination should make anyone who has been following recent events shudder. There is something going on here, but governments have not come clean with the public. Why 'secure detention centers' in the U.S. and 'secure vaccination centers' in France if there is nothing to be concerned about? It is becoming increasingly clear that a global mass vaccination campaign is planned -- likely to become mandatory in the 193 WHO member countries, despite serious safety concerns regarding these untested novel H1N1 vaccines, some of which are now known to contain high levels of the deadly adjuvent squalene.
Others may be aware that it was only last week that the Massachusetts State Senate passed a law making it a relatively serious crime to refuse a mandatory vaccination or to break a quarantine order. This law also includes rather astounding violations of the 4th Amendment, including warrantless searches and seizures of property if deemed necessary in an 'emergency'. This new Massachusetts law also included authorizations for illegal arrest without a warrant and of forced vaccination of the public. But the political activity is not limited to the states. Yesterday Obama held meetings with senior cabinet officials regarding H1N1 'pandemic prepardness' including HHS Secretary Sebelius. So this is not idle speculation. There is something going on here. Either the government knows something we do not, or this is the biggest hype since the dot com bubble.
Although the current H1N1 virus does not have lethal genes yet, we have been implicitly promised by the national and global health authorities that novel H1N1 will soon return with such genetic 'upgrades', just as it did in 1918. Here at ZeroHedge, we are expecting a flock of economic black swans soon, and a pandemic -- whether real or hyped -- may be part of this flock. An economic collapse will be no doubt be triggered soon , and it will be convenient for the political elites to blame the collapse on an external factor, such as a pandemic or a war. Furthermore, the fall H1N1 pandemic may be a convenient pretext by which dangerous levels of expanding social control can be established by elites which have proven themselves utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt.

We are showing our age here. We must all be over 50. A person will know that the H1N1 virus has gotten bad when her three kids are home from school and she cannot find a place to put them for the week and now looses a week of pay that she cannot afford to miss. A person will know the H1N1 virus has gotten bad when the poor sap running the grocery store cannot get someone to stock the shelves because all of the teenagers are sick: so he is unable to open. A person will know the H1N1 virus is bad when the person telling them to stay in the house or face arrest is vomiting on their doorstep.

So you could be getting an H1N1 vaccine that doesn't protect you. The regular flu shot is just a best guess as to what flu strains will be prevalent this year base upon prior history.
I think a year or two ago, they produced a flu vaccine that did not totally protect all those who got the flu shot from the flu strains that showed up in the genreal population.
You could get an H1N1 flu shot, the H1N1 virus could mutate and you could still end up dead. Hopefull the government paid for the out of pocket expense of getting the vaccine in the first place so it won't be a total loss to your family. That extra 35 bucks should help with the funeral expenses.
the shame about this all really is that one has no way of knowing of whether the supposed cause for concern is legitimate (and if so, how legitimate) or not.
the massive PR push all of a sudden like this is an ad campaign for a new reality show on GE/NBS for the fall season leads us to be as highly skeptical as you all.
still...as a few of those supposed 800,000 NYC residents who MAY have had a strain of H1N1 pass through their bodies last spring (and MAY still have that strain lying dormant in their bodies), the thought that continues to cross our minds is that it would not hurt any of us to begin to practice some preventive medicine...just in case.

You are WAY overblowing this. If you were head of these agencies, wouldn't you want to make contigency plans just in case an H1N1 mutation occured? Wouldn't you be negligent if you didn't plan for the worst, even if there was only a low probability of it happening? Take a breath and credit our public health officials for some excellent contigency planning, If only the financial modelers did as much!! (sigh)

I agree with the physician... and most of the commentary I am reading today is over-reactionary hype. I am also a medical professional and have been closely following the H1N1 virus since the beginning... as I am responsible for contingency planning for our large health-related business.
When the mild H1N1 virus rolled through last year the most telling example of complete and utter failure on the most basic level was the fact that many people have no health insurance... and no health insurance means they will try to ride out the illness at home and not access appropriate health care... and that is exactly what they did when they were exhibiting symptoms... and I witnessed it... and I had to work around this failure and try to determine whether employees with certain symptoms would be allowed to work with patients. I think that this is part of what went wrong in Mexico... and so many additional people were exposed unnecessarily.
Additionally, I watched small rural clinics in our country be completely overwhelmed with hysteria and revert to triaging and mis-diagnosing the H1N1 virus by phone, while providing prescriptions for antivirals without ever seeing the client.
I cannot believe after watching this mild H1N1 fiasco on a small scale that the government could ever organize themselves into mounting anything that resembles organization for mass quarantine on a broad scale with a population of 300 million citizens, many of whom own weapons.
As for the vaccine... since I have a young child I still need to be here for... I would rather live with the small risk of an auto-immune disease and be here for her... than to contract the H1N1 virus and be in the small minority of people who may perish.
And folks... when the crescendo of "government is bad" rises to this pitch... your message is lost and you begin to sound like a bunch of crazies. Without a government we would have no ability to feel safe in our homes, no sense of order to our society, etc...
So, IMHO it might be good to turn down the 'crazy knob' just a bit to allow the message you are trying to convey to shine through.

I think the problem here is one of "right of refusal". If a majority of the population are inoculated and some refuse, what's the problem? An option to inoculation is self-isolation, successfully implemented by a few communities during the 1918 pandemic, studied, and even recommended by the WHO early on;

Hi Marley... been wondering what your avatar is for a while now... help me out with that.
I think that as a matter of fact the persons putting forth this disinformation about a 'manadatory' requirement for H1N1 vaccination need to state their source... whether it be State Statute or Rule, or Federal Code. I reviewed the information put forth on August 28, 2009 by the CDC in regards to vaccination for H1N1 and everything is worded as "recommended". I have not found anything yet to indicate that any state has put forth a mandatory inoculation plan. I scanned the entire Massachusetts Senate Bill 2028 and the only thing relevent was:
An individual who is unable or unwilling to submit to vaccination or treatment shall not be required to submit to such procedures but may be isolated or quarantined pursuant to section 96 of chapter 111 if his or her refusal poses a serious danger to public health or results in uncertainty whether he or she has been exposed to or is infected with a disease or condition that poses a serious danger to public health, as determined by the commissioner, or a local public health authority operating within its jurisdiction.
Quarantine orders via the public health department have been around for ages... and they are there so a person who refuses treatment for tuberculosis (or another devastatingly communicable disease) cannot sit down next to me or my child in a crowded movie theatre, cough, and spread tuberculosis to those in his/her immediate proximity. So this is nothing new... the rights and best interests of the whole supersede the individual rights of one. We don't give bank robbers the right to steal from everyone who has money in a bank... we take away his/her right to rob a bank to protect the good of the whole. So I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me as to a reliable source about this forced vaccination and not just infowars.com

Regarding the dialogue going here, is interesting at least. I respect PM and he does have a valid concern, if not just for the afore mentioned 1976 experience with forced inoculation. (Guillain-Barré syndrome, links many entries above) Also, a very interesting post by "Anonymous". I provided a link to those interested in reading the study.
I think what I'd like to mention about the response that are evident here, are symptomatic of a manipulated society. If you read up on manipulative personalities, this taken from a Scribd article about the same, " the negative effects of continued use of manipulation to control others are that:

I do agree with you that the underlying problem is the lack of trust in our government... and I agree that our populous is easily manipulated. However, in my opinion, when we have a manipulated society it can become quite easy for others external to the government to manipulate also... using sketchy facts and alarmist thoughts... primarily because the public is so used to being lead and is searching for someone to believe and trust... so then the pendulum can strongly swing the other way... which is no healthier than what we have right now.

Historically speaking a mass pandemic of H1N1 would do good to the general economy and the ratio of goods consumed vs. the amonut of basic materials needed for those goods to be produced. I say historically simply by comparing present day economic parameters with the ones when some sort of global epidemic depopulate the globe. I point you to the general condition in Europe in the end of the 12th century and beginning of the 13 century when wages were non-existent and land had no value, because the was no population dynamics in place. When black plague depopulated Europe the people who managed to get trough it demanded wages because there was not enough labor in existence to cover the need, and land begun to gain value simply because the population dynamics started to emerge. And that was when the only economic activity was agriculture. I am most certainly not the advocate for the above mentioned; but if H1N1 is a part of a plan; than the plan could have a final goal to produce the conditions in the general economy of the globe similar to those that we have seen in the 13th century. General standard of living would go up; wages would go up; and consumption + demand for basic materials would go down. If you are a macro-economist or a psychopath that is the most logical and productiv solution you can imagine ( or even engineer ); particularly when the economy is in the state as it is now.

Control of the retarding factor is the issue in question here. No group should have this control and in the end no group will. Eugenics goes against nature and against the proper course of natural selection in its purpose. Forced inoculations. Unlike Anonymous above who seems to believes that the great unwashed will succumb to Clorox in the gene pool, it may be stooges such as him who submit to poorly researched vaccines who will assume room temperature first. I have not seen a scintilla of evidence that the cure is better than the adverse effects, yet I have viewed evidence that the adverse effects are quite serious.
Regardless, forced inoculations violate such inanities such as Nuremberg Code, where trifling items such as informed consent are laid out. One element of informed consent states that the patient has a RIGHT to decline. It may be good to remember that the Nazi’s and Stalin did not have informed consent. Other than military service and a true emergency, an exception to the informed consent rule is when there is a life-threatening situation, and there is no empirical proof that this virus is a life threatening issue at this point. There has not been adequate time to do proper human testing on the vaccine, nor do we know who would be reviewing the reviewers of said alleged testing. Even IF adverse events were reported to the FDA, that agency does not disclose that information to the public. 185 F.3d 898.
Then there is the issue that the above documents ignore the 4th, 5th and 14th amendment, where we are asked forced to simply abdicate our rights bought and paid for by the blood of our forefathers. The same document says we must defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Do you truly believe that when the IRS shows up, they are here to help? Hell, let’s just get it over with and send the Constitution to Afghanistan to help in our nation building exercise. Lord knows we are not using it…..

I know that Sean Hannity has unfortuntately started to promote the event, but don't let that deter you from coming out and making your voice heard. It's just the "right wing" MSM trying to coopt a movement that was going to be successful without them.
I have to say, this possibility has occurred to me as well. It's hard to know what to believe when you've accepted the possibility that your government is willing to kill you one way or the other, and manipulate the media to accomplish this goal.
But I don't think our choices are necessarily between swine flu vaccine and death. There's going to be a Solari Report released tomorrow on natural remedies for the swine fle, which I think should be essential reading for those of us who have decided not to take the vaccine.
I know that there is solid medical research behind Vitamin D as a natural remedy for flu, but it will be interesting to see what else solari comes up with. Solari.com if you're interested. I bet there's a lot of other info out there on the web too. Generations of humans survived the flu before flu vaccines were invented, so there are other ways out there.
Man, vitamin therapies are just utter nonsense. Vitamins do nothing to stop you from getting a virus. They help bulk up your immune system, but that's about it. People usually survive viruses because they have a strong immune system, that's true, but H1N1 swine flu is unusual, like the 1918 flu, in that the main cause of death from H1N1 is actually cytokene storm in your lungs caused by an overactive immune system; so in this case, vitamins may do you more harm than good, because the healthiest people are the ones who are the most likely to die from it. For my money, an equally good bet on this virus is to down a fifth of vodka and smoke a carton of cigarettes; you'll weaken your immune system and probably have a better chance of surviving the virus.
I'm thinking about getting the vaccine, if it ever shows up around here, but now there's so much disinformation out there I don't know whether I should be more scared of the virus or the vaccine in this case. My dad says not to be an idiot and just take the damn vaccine, and he's usually pretty cautious. I do think it's a legitimate point that if the governments and corporations wanted some group of people to die, they'd probably want that to be the people who refused to take the vaccine, not the ones who took it. From that point of view, taking it is a way to outsmart them. On the other hand, maybe that's what they're banking on.

Nothing being discussed in this excellent effort by PM is "legal" according to our founders nor would most folks response to these measures be considered so by those that will do anything to maintain power. Anything. Thank goodness more folks are waking up every day.
