Join Me In My Time Machine

The Charlie X Solution
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 01/09/2015 23:29 -0500And yet on Friday morning, the solution came to me in a shot. And, as with most good solutions, it comes from no less a place than Star Trek: The Original Series. Hear all now my idea:
Bullet Doddged
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 01/08/2015 21:43 -0500For now, they've failed............but the fact that this watering-down was even considered is something I find sickening.

These Are NOT Heroes
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 12/30/2014 12:42 -0500The fact that these guys were shot dead doesn't make them heroes. Period.

Best of Slope 2014 (Part One)
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 12/29/2014 00:16 -0500As 2014 wheezes and coughs to its termination, I wanted to share some of what I consider to be the best posts of the year.
Khristmas Krap
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 12/23/2014 16:45 -0500It's hard for me to imagine a more appropriate way to celebrate the birth of the redeemer of our sins and the lamb of God than the shameless purchase of a bunch of useless crap that no one needs.
The New Boremal
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 12/21/2014 09:37 -0500The five remaining equity bears on Earth are all saying the same thing: "We'll get 'em in 2015." To which I ask: why? What's going to change?

Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 11/26/2014 19:43 -0500I read your post Pity the Sub Genius and agreed with a lot of what you wrote. However you missed what I think is the biggest killer of middle class jobs, and that is technological innovation.
Pity the Sub-Genius
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 11/22/2014 23:20 -0500They say be careful what you wish for. And, as is often the case, "they" are right.
View From Far Above
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 11/21/2014 21:06 -0500As you can see by this view of the NQ, this massively bullish news has not, as of yet, represented any kind of sea-change in the markets. Before the day was even out (again, in some, not all markets), the entire move up was reversed.
Zachary

Glass Passe
Submitted by Tim Knight from Slope of Hope on 11/16/2014 21:42 -0500A little more than a year ago, I did a post with a typically subtle headline: "Why Google Glass Will Fail Miserably". Well, this just appeared in Reuters, and although its headline isn't as blunt as mine, the article pretty much states that Glass is every bit the flop I predicted it would be. So there.
