Fourth Turning: Crisis Of Trust, Part 1
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/11/2015 18:30 -0500We're beginning to believe the nation will not be unified behind a common cause when the coming financial eruption unleashes molten lava of chaos, punishing economic distress, civil strife, class warfare, race wars, and ultimately global war. As Strauss and Howe foretold, the establishment (aka corporate fascist military industrial surveillance state) has seen a sequential loss of popular trust as their blatant corruption, sociopathic stranglehold on the levers of power, and unrelenting greed have angered the critical thinking aware citizens of this country. The next leg down in this Greater Depression will sever the remaining trust, disintegrating any remaining support for the existing civic order. What comes next will be heavily dependent upon whether the 5% to 10% of liberty minded believers in the Constitution are able to gain the trust of the masses.
Anyone Who Believes The COMEX Numbers Is Very Naive (They Are Much Worse!)
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/10/2015 20:00 -0500Following our detailing the Comex gold futures to deliverable physical gold ratio that is now north of 200:1, several correspondents noted that "they are probably bluffing...based on JPMorgan's previous lies, the real number is likely significantly higher than 200:1." History tells us that all Ponzi schemes and market interventions fail, and it appears we are on the cusp of a massive failure in the scheme to cover up the truth about the precious metals market.
Abu Dhabi Can't Find $1.4 Billion It Supposedly Received From Malaysia PM's Slush Fund
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/10/2015 11:50 -0500Late last month, tens of thousands of Malaysians donning banned yellow attire took to the streets in Kuala Lumpur to call for the ouster of Prime Minister Najib Razak whose government has been accused of obstructing an investigation into how some $700 million from a Goldman-backed development bank mysteriously ended up in Najib’s personal bank account. As it turns out, the story goes well beyond Goldman and Najib. As WSJ reports, the 1MDB debacle takes us deep into the shadowy world of sovereign wealth funds where it appears as though someone told a $1.4 billion lie...
The City Of London Has Turned Britain Into A "Civilized Mafia State"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/10/2015 10:22 -0500"Public services, infrastructure, the very fabric of the nation: these too are being converted into risk-free investments. Social cleansing is transforming central London into an exclusive economic zone for property speculation. From a dozen directions, government policy converges on this objective. Property in this country is a haven for the proceeds of international crime. Sometimes the UK looks to me like an ever so civilised mafia state."
Martin Armstrong: "Hillary's Dream Is Evaporating Rapidly"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/09/2015 16:20 -0500The legacy of the Clinton’s behind the curtain has also been one of questioning everything, two, three, if not four to ten times. The lack of honesty between the words seems to be catching up. Hillary and Bill have been rather notorious for doing whatever it takes to win while lining their pockets at the same time. So it is no surprise that Hillary may fight to the end without ever fearing prosecution for anything she has ever done is in the past.

"Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death": The Loss Of Our Freedoms In The Wake Of 9/11
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/08/2015 21:30 -0500What began with the passage of the USA Patriot Act in October 2001 has snowballed into the eradication of every vital safeguard against government overreach, corruption and abuse. Since then, we have been terrorized, traumatized, and acclimated to life in the American Surveillance State.

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/04/2015 10:36 -0500Corruption isn't just bribes and influence-peddling: it's protecting the privileges of the few at the expense of the many. Rampant pollution is corruption writ large: the profits of the polluters are being protected at the expense of the millions being poisoned. What China will be left with a poisoned land stripped of talent and capital.

The Economics Of Bernie Sanders
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/01/2015 15:55 -0500If we could put the economics of Bernie Sanders into a nutshell, it would be this: Burden private enterprise with one directive after another, and then demonize it when it ultimately falls down under the awful weight of taxes, higher costs, and mandates. While many people believe that instituting the Sanders economic agenda would help turn the USA into another Sweden or Denmark, the more likely outcome would be turning this country into another Venezuela.

One Theory About Last Monday's ETF Implosion
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/31/2015 12:41 -0500Attempts to explain exactly what happened last Monday when prices for a whole host of ETFs and mutual funds diverged markedly from fair value abound and while there's no way to know for sure exactly what went wrong, FactSet has drawn some tentative conclusions after conducting a bit of "voodoo, tea-leaf reading."

Austrian Economics Is Now Equivalent To Terrorism Thanks To Latest Islamic State "Gold Standard" Propaganda Clip
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/30/2015 13:16 -0500What better way to mute demands for a return to sound money and the gold standard, than by making them equivalent to jihadist terrorism? Why, there are none, which may explain the hilarious appearance of the "Islamic State's" latest 55-minutes pro gold standard YouTube clip, which is nothing but a crash course in Austrian economics.
