Wouldn't it be ironic if the market put in a top on the good news that "America is back"?

I am just waiting for someone on CNBC to utter the "R" word: resilient. When you hear that word, make sure you run for the exits.

In this holiday shortened week, there won't be much to gleam from market action.

While not there yet, the indicators are heading in the direction that one would expect to see at a market top.

The changes within the indicators are noteworthy, but there is still nothing noteworthy regarding the indicators.

There is probably greater risk of a market down draft now than in past weeks.

I want to state that equities are for renting not owning at this juncture.

The news hasn't changed, but maybe the reaction to the news has. In the end, it is the same story as "the trend is your friend until it ends".

To attach any significance to the market's current strength is wrong.

I still think the best course of action is not to fight the tape, and of course, don't become fodder for the bulls.

There is little follow through on either side of the equity markets. Outsize bets in either direction are not warranted.

This should be another time saving moment for our readers as we measure several levels of investor sentiment with one unique indicator.

To spare you the trouble of having to waste your time reading and to spare me the embarrassment, there will be no comments this week. Just graphs.

Whether the perfect trifecta becomes the perfect storm (again) for investors is yet to be determined.
