Student "Tyrants In Training" Demand Journalists Swear Loyalty Oath Before Reporting On Them
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/24/2015 20:30 -0500Students and faculty at Smith College apparently didn’t want a repeat of that ugly episode at Mizzou, so when they held a sit-in Wednesday to protest racial discrimination, their solution was to not let in members of the media in the first place — unless said media members pledged allegiance to the cause.
Trump On Waterboarding: "You Bet Your Ass I'd Approve It, Even If It Doesn't Work"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/24/2015 15:03 -0500"Would I approve waterboarding? You bet your ass I would. In a heartbeat. I would approve more than that. It works and if it doesn’t work, they deserve it anyway for what they do to us."
Suspects Armed With Kalashnikovs Take Hostages In French Town Near Belgian Border
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/24/2015 14:22 -0500Although details are still sparse, Roubaix is very close to the border with Belgium which certainly leads one to wonder if there's a connection with the ongoing search for two unidentified terror suspects as well as the eighth Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam:
Argentina Throws Out The Peronists In "Historic" Presidential Election
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/23/2015 07:53 -0500"Today is a historic day. It’s the changing of an era. We can live in an Argentina without poverty, where we can all aspire to have our own homes with running water and a sewage system."
"The question is whether this is going to be something like the rebirth of Argentina or another failed dream that people get excited about, but then they can’t overcome the challenges.”
So Who's Really Sponsoring ISIS?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/22/2015 19:10 -0500Mass surveillance at home and endless military projection abroad are the twin sides of the same coin of national security, which must simply be maximized as much as possible. Conspicuously missing from President Hollande’s decisive declaration of war however, was any mention of the biggest elephant in the room: state-sponsorship. A senior Western official familiar with a large cache of intelligence obtained this summer told the Guardian that “direct dealings between Turkish officials and ranking ISIS members was now ‘undeniable.’”
This Is How Far America Has Fallen

"They value their civil liberties more than they value life. I disagree with that. You want to be free and dead? I’d rather be not free and alive" – Billionaire Hillary Clinton donor Haim Saban, 2015
No Joke! The Onion Predicted All Of This Back In 2003
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/20/2015 22:30 -0500“George W. Bush may think that a war against Iraq is the solution to our problems, but the reality is, it will only serve to create far more,” read a 2003 article on The Onion a week after then-President George Bush launched the Iraq War. While a wide variety of organizations and individuals also rebuked that invasion, the satirical newspaper offered one of the most accurate assessments to date. So accurate, in fact, it all but predicted the rise of the Islamic State.
How Islamic Extremism Was Born
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/19/2015 22:30 -0500History takes no prisoners. It shows, with absolute lucidity, that the Islamic extremism ravaging the world today was borne out of the Western foreign policy of yesteryear.
Understanding The Power-Contest Between Aristocracies
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/19/2015 21:30 -0500At the core of global power stands the conflict between the Sauds (and their Sunni clergy) and the Iranians (and their Shiite clergy). One can’t understand U.S.-Russian relations, nor much else of what is happening in the world, without knowing the relevant historical background; and the origins and nature of the Sunni war against Shiia are arguably the most essential part of that to comprehend just how the United States came to back the Sunnis, and how Russia came to back the Shiites, in this war.
The Greatest Racket Of All Time
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/19/2015 19:45 -0500It seems it is high time for a strategic rethink in the Global War On Terror, but powerful forces are arrayed against it. Apart from the fact that a truly huge racket is at stake, the situation is also reminiscent of the proverbial guy with the hammer – everything looks like a nail to him. So we should reasonably expect more of the same, only in even grander style (as the so-called “surge” has shown, any successes tend not only to be temporary, but have a habit to soon give way to even greater disasters).
Obama "Lives In A Fantasy Land," Chris Christie Rages John Kerry Should "Get Some Sleep & Shut Up"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/18/2015 11:53 -0500With poll numbers plunging, it is hardly surprising that Chris Christie would come out swinging in the aftermath of the French attacks and while his comments this morning during a Fox News interview are rather astonishingly frank, they are not entirely without merit as the Obama administration appears to tumble from pillar to post with regard foreign policy and specifically ISIS. Remarking on John Kerry's comment that the terror attacks in Paris lacked the "rationale" of the assault earlier this year on the staff of 'Charlie Hebdo', Chistie exclaimed the Secretary of State should "get some sleep and shut up," adding that President Obama "was living in a fantasy land" and should focus on protecting the U.S., not helping Syrian refugees.
Blowback - The Washington War Party’s Folly Comes Home To Roost
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/17/2015 20:30 -0500Bombing wont stop them; it will just make more of them. Ironically, what can stop them is the Assad government and the ground forces of its Hezbollah and the Iranian Republican Guard allies. Its time to let them settle an ancient quarrel that has never been any of America’s business anyway. But Imperial Washington is so caught up in its myths, lies and hegemonic stupidity that it can not see the obvious. And that is why a quarter century after the cold war ended peace still hasn’t been given a chance and the reason that horrific events like last week’s barbarism in Paris still keep happening.
Paul Craig Roberts: "The Matrix" Extends Its Reach
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/15/2015 22:25 -0500Within one hour of the Paris attacks and without any evidence, the story was set in stone that the perpetrator was ISIL. This is the way propaganda works.
The False Flag Link: Syrian Passport "Found" Next To Suicide Bomber Was "Definitely A Forgery"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/15/2015 22:12 -0500The already laughable story that the passport of a Syrian refugee had been found next to the bodies of one of the dead terrorists took an even more surreal twist when we learned hours ago that according to both French and US sources, the passport was most likely a fake.
"Paris Changes Everything": German Lawmakers Call For End To Merkel's "Open-Door" Migrant Policy
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/15/2015 14:00 -0500"The days of uncontrolled immigration and illegal entry can't continue just like that. Paris changes everything."
