It is time for a radical denationalization of money, a privatization of the monetary and banking system through a separation of government from money and all forms of financial intermediation. That is the pathway to ending the cycles of booms and busts, and creating the market-based institutional framework for sustainable economic growth and betterment. It is time for monetary freedom to replace the out-of-date belief in government monetary central planning.
Moody's Downgrades France, Blames "Political Constraints", Sees No Material Reduction In Debt Burden
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/18/2015 15:45 -0500Citing "continuing weakness in the medium-term growth outlook," Moody's has downgraded France:
*FRANCE CUT TO Aa2 FROM Aa1 BY MOODY'S, OUTLOOK TO STABLE
Apearing to blame The EU's "institutional and political constraints," Moody's expects French growth to be at most 1.5% and does not expect the debt burden to be materially reduced this decade.
"S&P < 1870 Until QE4 Or China QE1" - Seven Observations On The Fed's "Shocking" Announcement
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/18/2015 08:49 -0500"Asia banks indicate in coming weeks markets at early stage of crisis; Q3 EPS shows recessionary global economy. Crowded Discretionary, Banks, Tech & Eurozone most at risk should peak liquidity coincide with EPS recession, SPX<1870, GT30<2.8%, DXY<93...at least until new extreme policies introduced (Fed QE4, China QE1 or a G7 shift toward fiscal policy stimulus)."
Yellen Responds To Allegations The Fed Is Responsible For America's Record Wealth Gap
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 17:14 -0500"There have been a number of studies that have been done recently that have tried to take account of many different ways in which monetary policy acting through different parts of the transmission mechanism affect inequality, and there's a lot of guesswork involved, and different analyses can come up with different things. But a pretty recent paper that's quite comprehensive concludes that the -- that Fed policy has not exacerbated income inequality."
Maxine Waters Congratulates Yellen On Not Hiking Rates, Says ZIRP Is Precisely What "Minorities" Need
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 14:36 -0500"I am pleased the Federal Reserve under the leadership of Chair Yellen has chosen to exercise a prudent and cautious approach to safeguarding our economy by carefully weighing the full range of economic data in assessing whether to raise interest rates. Moving to prematurely raise rates will endanger the critical economic progress we have made, and threaten any gains minorities have only begun to make on the tail end of this recovery. "
Fed Chickens Out Again, Fails To Raise For 55th Consecutive Time - FOMC Statement Comparison
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 13:31 -0500With a 54-0 record without a rate hike (better than Floyd Mayweather's), and 58 Economisseds expecting no change, 3 a half-pregnant 13bps hike, and 53 expecting a 25bps hike, The Fed was always going to break someone's heart today. Bond yields and the USD were tumbling into the decision, which appeared correct as The Fed chickened out again...
- **FOMC: NO POLICY CHANGE, 0-0.25% TARGET 'REMAINS APPROPRIATE'
- **FOMC: GLOBAL ECON,FIN EVENTS 'MAY RESTRAIN ECON ACTIVITY'
- **FOMC: VOTE 9-1; LACKER DISSENTS, WANTED 25 BPS HIKE
Given the "no hike", it is clear that, as we noted, Goldman is still in charge and Hilsy is still leaker-in-chief. All eyes now on the dot-plots as The Fed desperately tries to regain some credibility, stifle uncertainty, and calmly reassure markets that "we've got your back."
Pre-FOMC: S&P Futs 2000.5, 10Y 2.26%, 2Y 77.5bps, EUR 1.1330, Gold $1118

The BLS Just "Revised" Away One Full Month Of Job Gains For Year Ending March 2015
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 09:16 -0500As if there was not enough negative data for the Fed to contend with, and make the case for a rate hike delay already, moments ago the BLS released the preliminary estimate of its "annual benchmark revision to the establishment survey employment series" for the 12 month period ended March 2015. While the final report will not be released until February 5, 2016, with the publication of the January 2016 Employment Situation news release, today's release will give the Fed yet another reason for concern as the BLS just admitted that at least 208K total jobs (and 255K private jobs) were overestimated in the year ending March 2015.
Inside Janet Yellen’s Brain At 4am (Part II)
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/17/2015 08:50 -0500Today, much of the world turns its lonely eyes to the Fed and its chieftain. The Fed has as much as promised to make the blind see and the lame walk. It claims that it – and it alone – is capable of improving the U.S. economy and, by extension, the world economy. People will earn more money. They will live better. And they will have less to fear from financial calamities, such as those that happened before the Fed was set up in 1913. In the popular mind – if there is such a thing – it is further believed that the Fed “won’t allow” a major bear market, because “it would be bad for the economy.” The Fed rules the entire universe of commerce, finance, and investment. Janet Yellen rules the Fed. But who rules Janet Yellen?

The long awaited day is finally here by which we, of course, mean the day when nobody has any idea what the Fed will do, the Fed included. Putting today in perspective, there have been just about 700 rate cuts globally in the 3,367 days since the last Fed rate hike on June 29, 2006, while central banks have bought $15 trillion in assets, and vast portions of the world are now in negative interest rate territory.
The Hype Surrounding Today's Federal Reserve's Interest Rate Decision is Way Overblown
Submitted by smartknowledgeu on 09/16/2015 23:24 -0500In the end, whatever the Feds announce at 2PM NY time today should not affect your long-term outlook on markets as neither of the two possible decisions will significantly alter the future fate of global markets. Instead, the most important thing to understand is the massive fraud that is systemic in the global financial system and to allow a deep and complex understanding of this fraud to drive your investment decisions.
The Real Reasons Why The Fed Will Hike Interest Rates
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/16/2015 21:30 -0500With a complex and disaster-prone system of interdependence causing social strife and chaos, why not just simplify everything with a global currency and perhaps even global governance? The elites will squeeze the collapse for all it’s worth if they can, and a Fed rate hike may be exactly what they need to begin the final descent.
The Fed's Pain-Relieving Policies "Have Made The System More Vulnerable To A Crash"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/16/2015 16:30 -0500"If only The Fed would get out of the way... Monetary policy designed to spare us from pain has instead made the system more vulnerable to a crash."
Inside Janet Yellen's Brain At 4am...
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/16/2015 09:30 -0500Will Janet Yellen proudly put the Fed on the side of the angels, announcing that she and her crew have decided to move the Fed’s key interest rate to a more normal level… regardless of how much it costs the cronies? No, she won’t. Once you begin manipulating markets, it’s a hard habit to break. After nearly seven years of emergency financial policies, we are now in a permanent emergency..."What if they say it’s my fault? What if they call it the Yellen Depression? Oh, no... It’s not fair... It’s not fair... Boo-hoo... sob... sob... I should have stayed at Harvard. I’d have tenure. I’d have a nice pension. George and I could go the Martha’s Vineyard in the summer. It would be such a nice life."
