Mister williambanzai7, as one of your most admiring fans, I rarely ask for your help. But yesterday some organization took out a full page NY Times ad with Mayor Bloomberg photoshoped as the Nanny Mayor. It was a really pathetic attempt. Could you please help out us New Yorkers with your interpretation of Nanny Bloomberg? Please, we need your help, the next thing on his agenda is the 16 ounce Porterhouse steak (880 calories).

BTW, the NYP post can go fuck themselves.

They licked that motherfuckers ass when he was beating "hippies and anarchists" to save the world. It's OK to beat the shit out of people who want to exercise their first amendment rights peacefully but God forbid he should infringe on the right to cosume massive quantities of sweet fizzy drinks.

Anyone notice that all the OWS criminal complaints are being dismissed in the courts and the cops aren't even bothering to show at the hearings?

Fuck Bloomberg and Fuck the NY Post.

Ditto in Chicago: fuck Rahm, who unleashed 100 divisions of cops on the NATO protesters. Then he stiffs the cops, who end up fighting for crumbs from that sawed-off little douchebag one-percenter.

@ williambanzai7

I think most NYers realize he's an arrogant little twit. It started a few years ago when there was a big snowstorm that was mishandled and the arrogant little bastard was at his weekend mansion in Bermuda. Then everyone realized, hey wait a minute, the Mayor leaves the Country every weekend, even when the weather is calling for a major snowstorm? He's an embarassment.

Shouldn't Obama be ordering air-strikes on Wall Street and Drone Attacks on JPM ?  What has Syria or Libya ever done to damage the USA compared to the FIRE sector ?

Oh oh, I think you are under surveillance now ;-)

He’s got nothing, except maybe a boyfriend...It’s just that for some clerk to make a decision based on what, your own personal feeling about whether or not they’re a good credit? Who the f–k asked you? You’re not an elected officer. You’re a clerk. Believe me, you’re a clerk. I want to open up on this f—-r, that’s all I can tell you.” - Jimmy Cayne

Gotta be the same rouge clerk/trader/analyst from the CIO mailroom trying to make up for pissing in Dimon's kool-aid.

Dimon's in need of some brains
His world-view is feeling some strains
This zombified Banker
Is simply a canker
For safety let's put him in chains

You lucky dog - in tight with Blythe and all. She must have appreciated the Mona Fleece em nearly as much as I.

Maybe Jamie will get the next tick bite and have to take time off to relax with Ina...

I'm a big fan of Blythe, and so should be most of us retail silver stackers. It's only thanx to her Ponzi Paper Pyramid that we can still afford an oz. now and then.

Economics is the publishing of political agendas that are hidden within known-false assumptions. If one accepts these assumptions then one accepts the hidden agendas.

The End of the Communist Dynasty

.."Some may argue that the Minsky market driven instability hypothesis is not suited to China and that they are chiefly a centrally planned state controlled economy. This reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of Minsky’s work. The Western economies’ attempt to centrally plan economic activities from the consumption end, the state based capitalism that China has become known for attempts to centrally control the economy from the production side.

The Chinese production economy cannot be seen in isolation from the consumption economies of the West; debt based consumption provided the umbrella under which the Chinese miracle grew. When the GFC collapsed Western debt based consumption reacted by providing the last line of Minsky Ponzi financing via government bail-outs. Governments faced with banking collapse chose keep the system going by transferring debt from private hands to those of the taxpayers." ..

It's hard to get Jamie to smile
His heart has been hardened by guile
He's feeling some pain
His bets were insane
His bank's now a big steaming pile...

bank guy in Brussels's picture

Wonderful re-do of a classic-type advertisement! - and re above it, I think perhaps a dream of many babes is to be in Banzai art.

Re banking, one of the curious things is that, for many people who worked at the mid- or lower-levels of banking, like myself (I was a good guy, giving loans to small businesses and helping restructure when they got into trouble ... a sometimes 'hero' to my small-business-owning customers)

For many of us, banking was not a 'chosen' career, it was what we fell into, when we didn't know what else to do. Appeared more pleasant and less boring than being a lawyer or similar.

But here in Continental Europe, nearly everyone works 'bankers hours' ...

williambanzai7's picture

You know me. Extreme satire.

I have nothing against anyone who earns an honest living, bankers included. But I know many who were driven out of institutions like CITI simply because they did not fit the cannibal finance profile. Now what's left is a bunch of parasites who have no inkling what relationship banking is.

This really is a big problem. They've gutted the industry. The youngsters are being taught to be fast buck artists.

That's a good idea. But first I wanted to project what I thought when I looked at that chart a few weeks ago.

WB, There is much irony hidden within your "Be A Banker" ad. A century ago, E.G. Aleorn was President of Gallipolis Savings and Loan of Ohio. In 1910 the bank had assets of $128,000 with a profit of $7,400. Bank officers and directors earned combined salaries and bonuses of $420 for the entire year. Eventually they were bought by Civic Savings Bank in 1985, which failed in 1991, along with thousands of other banks during the S&L crisis. Of course men like Charles Keating (Lincoln Savings) David Paul (Centrust) and other prominent bankers were prosecuted after the S&L debacle and served prison time.

Flash forward to present day and you see rampant fraud, accounting gimmickry, creative Level 3 asset pricing and gross mis-management without one indictment of anyone of importance.

I wonder what E. G. Aleorn would think of the state of banking today?

williambanzai7's picture

Thank you for that short bit of history.

He would be she'll shocked.

I once met David Paul. A huge asshole with palaces in Westport and Palm Beach. A huge yacht. I mean huge. And lots of shareholder financed art.

There are bigger assholes running free today.
