one more piece of the puzzle, the hang up of
the system only happens when i'm signed in
to the site and navigating the posts, which is
what led me to sac, the upgrades and compatibility
questions. if no one else has similar problems
then that is what it is and i apologize for distracting
the conversation from more interesting and relevant

for me, and i hate to talk about this condition
of ME, the story goes like this....
if i comment on any particular post when i go back to
that post it becomes frozen to navigation, as in
scrolling or typing alphanumerics becomes impossible.
i have to wait for the system to rrrrrespond.....
frozen. un-unforgettably. this is the condition of this
site. it is not the state elsewhere, other sites.
you see? it is fucked and useless in this condition.
that is what i mean. when i was young, i glued together
pieces of a garbage and broken guitar and made it work,
it could sing. this thing here is becoming like those
pieces of wood, used like a door stop for a while, then
stored, if loved, by an intelligence, somewhere, to be
repaired or reconstructed at a later date.
it is not your problem william, i apologize for
even bringing it up. it is what it is, what ever that is, and we all go on. as they say, fuck it.

HA! On topic: I've found that older machines are not able to handle some of the scripts. Used to have to disallow and/or monitor the ads, etc. Then I got a more powerful machine. No problem.

Blindman: Are you using Internet Explorer? Can you open the exact same thread in an alternative browser, such as Chrome, and experience the exact same problem?

I found that Internet Explorer ran horrifically on this website, using alot of memory and processing, even when not doing anything at all.

and i have done the virus and cleaner thing,
