Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare ... AS A TAX
In 2009, Obama said that his healthcare reform bill is not a tax:
The Supreme Court just upheld Obamacare ... as a TAX:
A divided Supreme Court largely upheld the Obama administration's health-care law, saying the law's penalty for those who ignore a mandate to carry health insurance counted as a tax and was justified by Congress's constitutional taxing power.

nmewn, another man with one clear eye..this is all about taxing those who feel they do not need health ins, many in fact do not..young healthy men. expanding the tax base on the necks of those poor souls with no need of health ins..devious mad demented brilliant.
I propose the new symbol of America..the American blood sucking dear tick.
You gotta love how easily they lie and drop other elements from view while doing it...its like second nature.
The administration goes before the public and say its not a tax...they go before SCOTUS and argue that it most certainly is a tax...and yet think no one in the public...notices.
A sure sign of arrogance toward the people.
Lotsa cash make strange bedfellows ie roberts& ginsburg
guess i should stop exercising and watching what i eat..and join the fat people..
Careful. You've got to keep an eye on those death panels.
and taxes generally go up.
Groucho Marx - LAWS OF THE ADMINISTRATION
For our information
Just for illustration
Tell us how you intend to run the nation
Rufus T. Firefly:
These are the laws of my administration
No one`s allowed to smoke
Or tell a dirty joke
And whistling is forbidden
(We`re not allowed to tell a dirty joke)
Hail, hail Freedonia!
If chewing gum is chewed
The chewer is pursued
And in the hooscall hidden
(If we choose to chew we`ll be pursued)
If any form of pleasure is exibited
Report to me and it will be prohibited
I`ll put my foot down, so shall it be
This is the land of the free
The last man nearly ruined this place
He didn`t know what to do with it
If you think this country`s bad off now,
Just wait `til I get through with it
The country`s taxes must be fixed
And I know what to do with it
If you think you`re paying too much now
Just wait till I get throught with it
I will not stand for anything that`s crooked or unfair
I`m strictly on the upper knot, so everyone beware
If any man`s caught taking graft, and I don`t get my share
We stand`im up against the wall and pop!Goes the weasel
(So everyone beware, you`re stricken or unfair
-------unless he gets his share)
If any man should come between a husband and his bride
We`ll find out which one she prefers by letting her decide
If she prefers the other man, the husband steps outside
We stand him up against the wall and pop!Goes the weasel
(The husband steps outside, relinquishes his bride
They stand him up against the wall and pop goes the weasel!)
That 1933 film of the Marx Brothers, 'Duck Soup' is profound as well as hilarious. Groucho himself said it was their greatest film, his favourite.
A superb anti-tyranny, anti-fascist film ... applicable to all corrupt tinpot rulers of the world.
It was the radicalism of early Hollywood - the country in the film was 'Freedonia', a so-called 'Land of the Free' - back then in 1933, just like Huey Long, the Marx Brothers foresaw the potential for fascism in America.
And that music you are quoting in the song lyrics above, is brilliant ... The opening minutes of the film are genius.
Enjoy that opening of the film here:

I wonder how long before that movie is no longer allowed?
