I do not characterize myself as religious. However, I went to church most Sundays when I was a kid and I managed to get confirmed. So I was influenced by this man in some important ways.

A bit over the top perhaps but points are often best expressed by hyperbole. Give that Christ only act of violence was to cast out the money changers from the temple of God, when he returns he would no doubt commend those who seek to cast the current batch out of the temple of liberty.
It's funny you mention the word hyperbole. Earlier today I was saying all of the events of the past 4 months have rendered that word meaningless. There is no exageration in characterizing the ongoing fraud.
I don't know if it's meaningless but under the current conditions where much of the population is quite literally asleep at the switch, shocking their base sensibilities has become the only way to have any expectation of waking them up before that 2 by 4 of reality smacks them up side the head. I wouldn't worry to much about those who are so offended that they reject the underlying concepts and choose to return to their stupor. They will get what their apathy has earned them, namely the aforementioned 2 by 4.

I don't think it is inappropriate at all. I think it conveys a message and I think that people who really appreciate the story of Christ, would appreciate this. The langauge means nothing. It's street dialect.

I am a devout and practicing Christian--Lutheran, to be exact--and have been my whole life, and I think it's hilarious. People often forget that Christ was not only true God but also true Man, and as such, He absolutely did have a sense of humor, and that's what these photos are about. And nothing more. I had quite a quandary with myself when the whole cartoon affair with the Prophet of Islam blew up. Since Christ chased the money changers from the temple it appears that nothing has changed and probably will not change. It appears that Caesar now occupies both sides of the coin as far as bankers are concerned.
If memory serves correctly, driving the money changers from the Temple was the ONLY violent act that Jesus committed as recorded in the New Testament.
Somehow, I believe the Christ I love would fully appreciate the sentiment expressed by WB7's gifted artistry.
