GATA, SHAKA ZULU, And The Coming Gold/Silver STORM!

GATA, SHAKA ZULU, And The Coming Gold/Silver STORM!

Hi,
This is Bill Murphy, GATA chairman and of
www.LeMetropoleCafe.com, and this is about my commentary on Friday. To get right to the point, three quality sources told me three weeks ago that the gold and silver markets were going to take off in August and I have been pounding the table on such ever since.  The action in the Gold Cartel suppressed precious metals markets the past few days suggests that surge has already started.

As part of this surge, it has come to my attention that the nefarious activities of JP Morgan’s manipulative short position in the silver market is going to come to light in August, especially since they still have a big problem with that position … and part of it relates to their announced “whale trade loss issue,” if what I am told is spot on.

The Barclay’s Libor scandal has alerted the investment world how manipulated the financial markets really are. The Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee has been sounding off on this critical issue since January 1999. On January 31, 2008, the Wall Street Journal printed GATA’s $264,000 full page color ad about the ramifications of the gold price manipulation scheme. We used the words “disaster” and “catastrophe” about what was coming in that very ad. In typical fashion, the press ignored GATA and how prescient we were…

Two months later the financial market collapsed in the US began in full fury.

Perhaps this portion of my Friday commentary will be of interest to you before the end of summer:

It is time for things to happen. As you know by now, I have been jumping up and down for fireworks to happen in August. We shall see. All I can say is that what has been brought to my attention over last three week period from the "best of" sources all points to the same conclusion. It will be nitty gritty time SOON. Perhaps that “soon” is “now” the way gold has traded the past three days.

If what I think I know is correct, it will be time to pour it on our adversaries and send them running for the hills. It got me to thinking of some old time energy which could recirculate to give The Gold Cartel the PUSH in that direction of those hills.

So much time goes by, many veteran Café members and GATA supporters might forget where one of GATA’s initial energy efforts came from to defeat The Gold Cartel. It surfaced from GATA’s trips to South Africa and relates to Africa’s greatest general in history, Zulu warrior chieftain SHAKA. It was around that time that one of the greatest movies ever, Zulu, starring Michael Caine, was on cable TV over and over again. It caught my imagination about how GATA could employ SHAKA’s battle plan to win the day for us … especially pertinent in that the Zulu miners were suffering so badly due to the heinous Gold Cartel’s price suppression scheme, as was all of South Africa.

So, retro time, as we continue to follow the SHAKA battle plan to defeat the heinous Gold Cartel…

An update on that Enveloping Horn Strategy…

*Our legal efforts against The Gold Cartel at the point of the horn are ongoing, as you well know by our latest FOIA efforts.

*Our left flank efforts with the press to expose The Gold Cartel’s price suppression scheme have gone on further than imaginable, what with all the evidence GATA has come up against them. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined how bought off and cowardly the financial press really is. I could go on and on here, but you get it and know that by now. The good news is the sleepy and kowtowed financial market reporters finally have their sniffers going in our direction after all these years.

*Our right flank already has won a clear victory. The big hedgers, AngloGold and Barrick, allied with The Gold Cartel back then, ended up running for their own hills and took something like $20 billion in losses for their ill-advised association with the dark side. $20 BILLION! GATA was right and the shareholders of those firms paid the consequences. Of course, all those higher ups at Barrick especially, just get off with tens of millions in compensation. "SO BE IT," as SHAKA would say.

One more thing, and prior to our GATA conference, I met with the KING of the Zulus in Durban, South Africa, a direct descendant of SHAKA. I promised him GATA would win the day for his Zulu miners. While his security was extensive and time consuming, he was a most engaging man and great company…

A 40 second sound bite before GATA’s historic Gold Rush 21 conference in the Yukon’s Dawson City in August of 2005. Andrey Bykov, economic advisor to  Russia’s President Putin at the time, said it was the finest conference he ever attended. He then came back to GATA’s sold out conference at the Savoy Hotel in London a year ago, at which 400 people attended from 38 countries…

tptb have tried to laugh down and market suppress these guys for over a decade (the suppression dates at least to the sixties).  now the laughs are sounding hollow and there is a certain twitching of their lips.

Mine's not made of tinfoil. It's made of silver. And the bullets which protect it are made of an even better investment: lead.

Not everything ballistic is a bullet. Thank you for eventually clarifying. In any case silver's too expensive a material to waste as bullets or arrow-heads.

The upside potential is there. But.... for those who are for the long haul, just keep buying small quantities at steady increments not as speculation, but as wealth preservation. BTFD also works.

The truth, as the article suggests, is that gold price has been coiling and chances are the uncoiling is imminent, but do not underestimate the dark side.

Author looks kind of fucked up cuming all overhimself

Only Ben knows what he has in store for Gold

I just love the right to free speech. It gives everyone the opportunity to expose their base ignorance. You pass with flying colours.

Bill Murphy has actually been exposing through investigation as well as persuing through the courts, the expose` of the criminals involved in the process of wealth stripping of the proles via the suppression of gold. He has grasped the logical conclusion of fiat currencies which are used to create a distortion of all assets and as a tool to transfer wealth to the bankers.

The truth of the above is undeniable and the only task of importance left, when confonted with such a monstorous crime, is to name and expose the crooks. Bill and associates have persued this when few others would take up the task which firmly positions GATA on the high moral ground and will leave his educated detractors (such a Krugman, Jefery Chriatian and Nadler) wallowing in the gutter of history.

Bill has collected a few powerful friends on his journey, who have their finger on the pulse. He has traded the markets and knew the insiders. He has gained a plethora of fellow travellers who feed him intel from the coal face.

Then there are the wanna be buffoons who are left to make glib comments about a subject that is obviously not their strong suit, comments such as (stating the obvious since the 1913 inception of the "new" paper money):"My money say's he'll print eventually, but I've been wrong before"  Wow! Insighs from the think tank with one leg either side of the fence.

M2 is now over 10 TRILLION. Do you reckon there has been any printing going on lately or would you like to lay a little wager that it won't continue?

Troll?  I don't think so.  Valid criticism.

Here we have a post with zero verifiable sources that "gold will go up".   Eventually he's probably right -- but even Tyler has been off the QE3 bandwagon for some time now, and most people out there are saying we'll get stimulus after the election and not before.

So the "It's going to go nuts in August" prediction is going to need some evidence other than the extended macro picture -- which is tough to make timing calls with.

If you want to take a long gold position, that's probably smart.

If you want to claim that gold is going to the moon in 4 weeks, that's going to need something more than "My buddy on the inside says Blue Horseshoe loves gold".

And if you want to claim that the LIBOR scandal is making the media finally catch onto the gold issue... just LOL.  The media has basically already forgotten about LIBOR, and that was the biggest crime in history.   It's all about the Olympics now.  LIBOR is so last month.

If someone wants to say that it is risky to say that gold is going up in the next four weeks (true) and that they better have good sources, then that is a valid criticism.

Many of the comments appear to be agitations as oopposed to reflection or comment.

Murphy has made a statement regarding what he considers to be quailty sources so let's see how much these sources know.

so let's see how much these sources know first.

Fixed it.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Murphy was being fed a line of BS in order to suck in a bunch of muppets before a massive deflationary dump.

I don't think we'll see a 2008 repeat (not as many billionaire margin calls this time if it happens again), but we could still get a big decline if there's a liquidation event.  Too much leverage, too little collateral, nothing has been fixed.  Gold could easily correct 30% off the 1900 high (it's done that big a correction before).

DCA in, and be ready to BTFD.  EUR still looks weak, USD still has some room to run, likely that the ECB will print next, then the Fed, rinse, wash, repeat. I'm sure as hell not going all in yet (and especially not on some super-duper-double-top-secret-anonymous-say-so).

Gold as an investment represents about 1% of investment portfollios worldwide.

If 1% of the portfollio manageres decide that fiat currencies aren't safe havens with the next crisis, the gold market could literally dry up.

The price wouldn't move at first because that is rigged, however no gold would be available due to price controls on the market as demand rolls-in.

Then after the market realizes what is going on, gold explodes in price as the rush is on - to hell with the CME futures price.

Your numbers sound like they exclude central bank portfolios and inter-bank activities. Once LIBOR, GOFO and rehypothecated leasing of fictional metals (and potentially treasuries too) comes into play I consider that a portfolio. Maybe not of one PERSON but it's there and active.

Let's audit those central bank holdings.

Looking at hundreds of trillions of bonds, equities without considering derivatives.

Gold holdings are about 1 percent.
