Also allegedly beamed back from the Moon was voice data, biomedical monitoring data, and telemetry data to monitor the location and mechanical functioning of the spaceship. There is, therefore, no way for the modern scientific community to determine whether all of that fancy 1960s technology was even close to being functional or whether it was all for show. Nor is there any way to review the physical record, so to speak, of the alleged flights. We cannot, for example, check the fuel consumption throughout the flights to determine what kind of magic trick NASA used to get the boys there and back with less than 1% of the required fuel. And we will never, it would appear, see the original, first-generation video footage."
I wouldn't waste an erg of energy doing this, but there's a workaround. Just reverse engineer the Saturn V, LM, etc. We've got two or three Saturn V's literally lying around. And the LM for Apollo 18 is also in a museum somewhere. So are all of the CM's.
And for those who think the moon landings were faked, answer this: "Why didn't the Soviets expose the so-called fraud?" It would have been an epic PR coup, so you know that they would have called "bullshit" if they could have.

Funny you mention 2001. It was state of the art animation at the time and still looks good. The drooling f*kktards who think it was a hoax can tell us how they pulled off the LEM landing animation with Armstrong's last second corrections, flying on manual with computer shutdown and low fuel. No way they had animation that could fake that landing. The tards always talking about the walking on the moon and never address the LEM descent.

When the little moon-tug is landing on the lunar surface, Kubrick had shots of the interior of the cockpit. On its screens there were flashing computer graphics -- circles, grids, text. Stuff that I could draw now using Inkscape, for free, in 10 minutes.
One of the movie's fans wrote a letter that ended up getting published in a paperback book The Making of 2001. He breathlessly asked if those simple flashing displays had been Real Computer Graphics .

Telemetry data and video data is interweave on telemetry tape. Original broadcast is not true telemetry feed but is making video by camera over tube display, rebroadcast by radio in Australia. Back in 69 I was in the fourth grade at Fulton Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado and attending summer school (not that my grades were bad, but I was an Air Force brat with aspirations of the Air Force Academy). In Colorado, Armstrong stepped on the moon about 8PM, I had been allowed to stay up to watch it.
Even today, his footstep on the moon seemed to fill me with a faith in a society and our nation that we could do anything. And it was reaffirmed with Apollo 13.

I remember in the 4th grade being ushered into the gym in Pontiac, Michigan with 300 other children watching Pete Conrad and Richard Gordon land on the moon on November 14, 1969. It was not Neil Armstrong, who had landed on July 16, 1969 during summer break but the principal, Mr. Griepentrog, had a urgency about him, he seemed to sense America was becoming another has been nation and he wanted to prove to us students that America was a great nation.
This was 1969, parent were discovering government welfare was pretty good, food stamps, some AFDC, and some weed and it was smooth sailing living off other peoples money. LBJ had started the theft and Nixon surrendered to the theft without so much as a whimper. The Summer of Love was two years history and the muscle cars were peaking out at all time highs.
It was a time when irrational behavior was the norm and everything was cool as long as you did not know a Vietnam Vet. That was a drag, death and all. Other than that everyone was cool as long as you supported free love, the movement, dressed cool, and did not question the hippies.
Our principal sensed that America as he knew it was slipping away. He was clueless as to why other than it simply was not the way it was anymore. The moon landing was his attempt to “mold” us 10-year olds that the America way was red, white, and blue forever!
We crowded around the 19” black and white television in the gym, all 300 of us, sitting in manufactured amazement as Pete Conrad left the lunar module and walked on the moon. None of us really comprehended the significance of it, that would be years later. We were simply appreciative of the chance to get out of class and socialize with our mates.
We watched the show slightly entertained, but impresses with how full of life our principal was with the effort of the astronauts. He was bubbling over with enthusiasm, an incredibly rare sight, hoping to impress upon us the significance of the event, but alas with little impact.
I will always remember my principal and his enthusiasm on that day. It wasn’t until decades latter I really understood what the significance of that day was, not the moon landing, but of my principal hoping in some way to influence my generation to grow up to be proud to be an American, hoping that we would be decent, honest, patriotic adults when we became adults. That was what impressed us on that day, not the moon landing.
I miss that principal and that generation that had values and virtue. I miss them terribly.
