First and foremost, Clint Eastwood is an actor. He presented a piece of performance art, not a political speech. Out of all the things of real substance that were spoken about, from taxation to deficits to debt to energy to the suffocating regulations encountered by small business to the values I know you and I both share...in all the speeches that came before or after...O'Barry chose to respond to an actor...talking to a chair...lol.

Was it the fact that the empty chair contained no substance at all (just as Clint's act implied) mocking O'Barry's rather large ego compared to his results or that O'Barry can't grasp reality and prefers his unicorns and the surreal to the real?

Now, you accuse me of being a "party loyalist". The only truth in that statement is that one of the two major parties candidates will be the next president. Thats just a simple fact. Like many, I was a democrat at one time, so I don't know what loyalty winds up meaning when a party moves away from my principles.

I stand behind what I've said before dis...a new party or movement (or however you want to describe it) can only be built after O'Barry is removed from office...he is that dangerous in my view. He does not respect laws that have already passed through the legislative process (only the ones he agrees with) or the separation of church & state or of the supremacy of the individual over its government. His "You didn't build that" line stands on its own merit, as a testament to how this power mad man views us, "the little people"...thats you and me dis. You should have known this four years ago when he blabbered about "bitter clingers" in front of million dollar contributors...it was pretty clear to me then, just as the "you didn't build that" is now clear to everyone.

I've already announced I voted for Paul in the primary, that chapter is now over...O'Barry and his crazy uncle Joe have to go.

To be honest I didn't listen to or watch any more of the (R) convention after the five minutes I viewed of the delegates roll call the other night. Nor do I plan to inhale any of the stench from the (D) convention when it happens. I've got better things to do than worry about which cult of personality has the highest poll numbers.

I can only say, the one who pushed the hardest for an audit and transparency at the Fed had a R next to his name, even though it should be an L...its just the way it is...and the ones pushing for a replacement to the current tax code (which would ultimately remove the fiscal need for the Fed) also have R's.

We'll soon see how many on the "other side" really believe in what they call "fairness" when the money supply for war AND welfare is at risk of drying up.

I'm saying they will scream themselves hoarse with righteous indignity at Granny cliff diving...but I could be wrong ;-)
