PRaiSe THe FeD...
The Kleptos who worship the FED
Believe in what Nietzsche once said
With evil upon us
And leaders who con us
Let's pray that our God isn't dead
The Limerick King
With Benjamins falling like rain
Inflation will come like a train
Savers may cry
But many will die
Clearly this thief is insane!

and pass the ammunition
one of the greatest artists of all time big guy, your work is so encouraging...
i want to tear down every false idol that has ever been erected, i want to run into the marketplace by morning with a lit lantern when viewing it - you taught me to be a better person, much appreciated and really you are like some kind of gary larson on steroids
QE Weapons for Silent Wars
What an Ass.
OMG...I missed the balloon pic....priceless....LMFAO! I've got to add a something to that one:
Bernanke keeps lighting his fires
A big-ass balloon he desires
Beware of the gas
That comes from this Ass
Let's hope that this nutjob retires!
Perfect as always!
Feel free to sustitute the word "expires" for "retires" in that last line...depending on your propensity for violent thoughts ;-)
Definitely prefer it that way. Violent or not, retire is just to easy a word for the chairsatan.
That balloon is best Banzai ever, and that's saying something. Priceless!
How in the hell do you do that? Do you have limericks running around your head all day or do they just pop in there when you see something ?
To tell you the truth Doc, sometimes I feel dry as a bone until one of Banzai's images sparks the verses in my mind. If a full limerick doesn't come to me within a few minutes, I usually move on to the next image as I don't have a lot of time to spend. I usually add verses to Banzai's Flickr stream when he posts new pictures on twitter...but I missed this classic balloon pic...I'm still laughing at it!
Yeah me too. For me it is definitely one of his funniest. It's an instant classic.
Everybody got Bernanke phone.
When I saw the picture with Netenyahu I started cracking up... Then I scrolled down to that big ass balloon. I think that's the funniest thing I've seen since the Jamie Dimon whale. Well done William. Thanks for the much needed laughs you provide.
Limerick King your work is priceless as always.Trully amazing. Thank you both.
I could have just gone with the balloon, but I wanted the scroll down impact ;-)
Braise the FED
- History will be kind to you.
- Future generations will look back at your work and see how fu**ed up we were.
- On September 19, 1931, the United Kingdom left the revised gold standard, forced to suspend the gold bullion standard due to large outflows of gold across the Atlantic Ocean. The British benefited from the departure. They could now use monetary policy to stimulate the economy through the lowering of interest rates.
- On August 15, 1971, the United States left the revised gold standard, forced to suspend the gold bullion standard due to large outflows of gold across the Pacific Ocean. The US benefited from the departure. They could now use monetary policy to stimulate the economy through the lowering of interest rates.
- Look at the UK and we are almost there.
- Like they say in Texas - big hat but no cattle.
When I was living in London the government was hooked on the invisibles theme. Invisibles were finically services, legal, accounting etc. the invisibles economy indeed.
The Butt Balloon...lol...careful Ben, you'll singe more than a few pubes.
Ad on the left is for GAS-X
lol...I was trying to remember the old gag where one flicks a Bic and farts...Blue Angels I think.
Gold Banzai!!! Man you have artistic vision beyond my comprehension. Your stuff should be in the main stream more.
It's well within your comprehension. There's nothing high fallutin' about me ;-)
Banzai, you are the seductive suicidal rock star of political economic graphic satire.
Yes. And whatever can be said of Banzai, it is not enough; it always falls short of what he does. Banzai, like Larson, is that rare find – an artist with ideas. In one stroke he can make a major statement: Banzai happened along at a time that fits his talent.
Today’s classics will tour the world.
Thank you all...
I spent my career successfully doing things that no one will ever remember, because the only thing people remember in finance is if something gets fucked up. If you are a corporate lawyer, having people pull the files to double check the fine print usually portends some kind of lawsuit. if you are a bankster you take the money and run.
Otherwise you do your deals, get a lucite cube and move on down the line.
What a terrible fuckng existence for so many people stuck in the rat race. It only gets worse and worse. Then you finally realize what a pile of junk your life is and it's too late to change.
So the irony is, these images are my legacy. I get tremendous pleasure doing them and interacting with the viewers and I don't care if my real name is attached.
There are two other things I should mention, my parents, both of whom are healthy seniors, read Zero Hedge every day. My Mom reads all the comments and follows all the links on my posts. They were both around for the last big war and many things resonate. It is a good reason to be concerned. Don't let them inhibit you, they've seen just about everything.
I have learned a shitload here from everyone.
What more can I ask for.
Peace
WB7 -- I will add this: your caricatures and political cartooning -- indeed, personal expression -- is made of the same stuff as the classic works of critical art of yesteryear...Gilray's historic "Political Ravishment - the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street in Danger," 1797, comes to mind ( ironically, this work was prompted by Pitt the Younger's demand that the Bank of England desist from paying government debts in gold; rather, in paper...the rhyme of history is apparent; how little has changed in two centuries ). As always, well done.
[ As to why your post was downticked, frankly, whoever it is can plant a wet one on that helium-charged inflatable derriere. ]
Thanks Jay, I'm always looking at that old stuff for ideas and inspiration. Even the engraving and gritty woodcut style is something I love.
The MSM mindset killed the art of political caricature and satire in visual art and the Internet is reviving it. The word cartoon has become sort of a slight because of the commercial media connotation.
Don't mind the down tick. That's Stank's the junk dog,
This is your best stuff ever! Love it!
Agreed!
Hey Banzai,
You are doing a great work and I always check your posts, the only exception:
When you were down on Netanyahu, I thought that was not fair as you completely dismissed the real problem behind the cartoon...the guy is just trying to do his best in order to save his nation from a bunch of evils....
Keep up the good work and have a great weekend
Hey Looking -
I was once of a similar view concerning Bibi until I figured out the difference between Israel as a people and Israel's corrupt politicians. These links should get you started. Peace!

Can he start a fire? " Rhetorically speaking"
You recognize that is the fresco that English art restorer fucked up this summer ;-)
Did she ever get paid/or jailed? That was absolute " blasphemy"
She is trying to get paid...ho, ho, ho
Thanks for the update #7. You have better things to do.
Lol! Bernanke looks like a retard in these pictures! Oh wait
