The QE-I is very simple. The FED is getting full of its own product and is now pulling MBS from banks allowing them oto more permanently acquire treasuries since the FED is at the limit and foreigners aren't shopping at the "window" so this also allows banks to get a preferential deal on offloading their portfolios, reading for the big treasury issuance of 2013 and beyond. research@pamria.com

Can someone explain to me why businesses should pay tax at all?

I don't really understand the principle of the thing - surely whatever tax is paid is just passed along onto consumers in higher prices for their goods?  Its not like this is a tax on the incomes of their executives etc .. I really don't get this one, surely zero tax on business is a good thing because it means end users not being taxed twice?

Truthfully, I'm against all taxation - but I think tax on business profits paid by the business in question is really insidious, because it weakens the business - meaning less goods and services created for a given amount of labor and capital, and it also means higher costs for whoever buys the crap they sell.

Maybe they ship out the profits and pay bonuses over seas or something?  Either there's something I'm missing here, or all this outrage against businesses paying more tax is just poorly understood.

Jack Welch is a criminal:

After the 2000 crash, we learned of earnings manipulation and accounting shenanigans. The criticism was GE Capital acted as an opaque leveraged hedge fund that always be counted on to help GE beat by a penny. (GE eventually had to settle accounting fraud charges with the SEC).

So if anyone knows a thing or two about cooking the books, its GE’s Jack Welch. Want even more proof? Have a look at this chart of Welch’s earnings versus his successor, Jeff Immelt:

Immelt's a hack and an Obama supporter/puppetmaster. At least Welch is honest about being bag of douche, whereas Immelt tries to pass himself as a man of the people (while creating that clusterfuck Obamacare so he could sell a trillion worth of GE MRI machines and other hospital equipment in Obama/corporate hospitals!!)

One of your best. Nice persiflage and yet so poignant. Could easily be printed or shown to the world community and everyone would understand, regardless of their language, their faith or their political convictions.

Those who hate central bankers would know the time has come and those who benefit from central banking know their time is about up.

You know that art throughout the ages often carried political messages and it produced critical thought among the people. In the most extreme cases, uprisings even revolutions can be traced back to an artistic expression.

Art gets people to think. Even if they only catch a glimpse of the piece. There is not much out there in terms of real meaty political satire and anti-establishment artwork. Almost as if the oligarchs do not want us to think for ourselves ...

It's time, WB7 .. it is time.

Would be wonderful if Ben Shalom Bernanke really was as in this picture ... a middle-aged Jew drinking wine and contemplating wisdom ...

Instead of a hired tool and thug propping up the US Empire and its oligarchs.

It is interesting how neither Ben Bernanke, nor Barack Obama, nor others in their group, can hide their personal unease despite being at the 'pinnacles' of worldy power.

Barack Obama in the debate, showed that he has at last begun to realise, that it would be better to be a free man in a little village in Kenya, than a sell-out Uncle Tom working as a servant while posing as President of the United States.

And Ben Bernanke's voice shows that he feels being in the same trap ... He is nominally the central financial figure in the entire world, but he is beholden as a slave to powerful oligarch families, who will not hesitate to destroy him or even kill him if he does not continue to serve them

Our political refugee from the US in Brussels, is a non-Zionist Jew who is a Harvard classmate of Ben Bernanke, attending Harvard College at exactly the same time ... Ben is probably getting close to the point he actually envies the freedom of his classmate, despite all the threats and slanders against him.

Ben's classmate is a free man in Europe today, despite being attacked and menaced by the US regime, and having Google block his websites; Ben Shalom Bernanke is not free at all.

Bernanke's classmate was able to (barely) escape from America alive. Someday Ben Bernanke may wish he had done the same.
