Main Street is under attack
Employment is not coming back
Kleptos keep shooting
Our wealth they keep looting
The nation is fading to black

In order to live on this street
You suck from the government teat
You're lower than slime
Your life is a crime
You live just to sleep and to eat
Mitt The Twitt
Big Bird's in line for some bread
The hardship is very widespread
Behind stands Barack
He's simply in shock
American dreams are now dead
The Limerick King
The Muppets are Too Big To Fail
Beware of this big yellow whale
Big Bird we must save
Or things will be grave
The system is simple too frail
The Limerick King
This picture is just like the song
There's someone that doesn't belong
The others all steal
And do it with zeal
It's Big Bird who's done nothing wrong

KNOW YOUR SHITTY DEAL MEMES
I'm glad that Romney has resuscitated the Muppet meme.
The picture pretty much says it all.
I have no fucking idea how much it costs to subsidize Sesame Street (probably zero).
I am, however, certain it costs far less than subsidizing Big Oil and I am even more certain that it is less than perpetually subsidizing TBTF Wall Street or Goldman's shitty solar energy malinvestment deals for that matter (who was Solyndra's investment banker? The same shitty dealers backing Romney this time around).
Don't hold your breath waiting for Frick or Frack to make that simple observation.
Just more noise to distract the Muppets.
WB7
The whole gang from Sesame Street
Are hoping that Romney gets beat
Their jobs are in flux
They think Romney sucks
He's just an entitled Elite

MEET MR BALLOON HEAD

My forty something son grew up with Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Now, he is a professor at an Asian university.
I called him and asked if he remembered the theme song to Mr Rogers. He responded, " I suppose so, but, Dad, I am in front of a class, at the moment."
I asked him to sing it; he did and his entire class of Khmer speakers joined in.
Make your own conclusions of the value of PBS.
and further to my post above this feed of everyone's favourite Sesame Street guests (I have a hard time deciding between Jill Biden Michelle O and Ban Ki Moon)

This has been my Favorite ... hell one of my favorite blog postings of all time
Remember, a Jackass that shits fast doesn't shit long.
Great stuff as always WB, however The Limerick King (along with his protege Mitt The Twitt) was brilliant today.
From Leonard Read's classic work, "Anything that's Peaceful" (p. 60) --
President Cleveland vetoed a $10,000 appropriation to purchase seed wheat for Texans who had suffered a drought. Included in his message was the point I wish to emphasize:
“Federal aid in such cases encourages the expectation of paternal care on the part of the Government and weakens the sturdiness of our national character, while it prevents the indulgence among our people of that kindly sentiment and conduct which strengthens the bonds of a common brotherhood.” —President S. Grover Cleveland
As long as they don't cut the funding for Sean Hannity. That's some prime TV right there
If PBS can't stand on their own let them fail. If JPMorgan can't stand on its own, let them fail. End the Fed. Shrink the freaking government. Put your freaking big boy pants on and deal with it. I'm sick of the Fed's going into my pocket to pay for crap that it doesn't need to causing inflation and crony corruption. Otherwise we're going down ala the Soviet Union in '90-91 for most of the same reasons.
PBS doesn't advertise. It is public tv to keep small children from being psycoacousticized by commercials. Not Amerkun?
If no one is willing to even cut a Federal propaganda arm like PBS, we are truly screwed. People like you are the reason I am confident gold will gain in value and that we will end up like the Soviets were 20 years ago. Enjoy the freaking ride to the bottom as you watch Sesame Street numbnuts.
"How Muppets are Wrecking the Economy"
Well, at least they don't have a hand up my bum....yet.
Just show me where in the Constitution the Federal Government is authorized to fund anything beyond "protecting our borders". That was Romney's point - the Federal Government has no business funding PBS, NPR, alphabet agencies, buying GM shares, subsidizing Chevy Volts, or loaning money to Solyndra. These things would be a function of the individual soverign states, if they so choose.
You'd think wilth all the Ron Paulites on here that someone would actually "get it"..
Yes the "Ron Paulites" do get it...BOHICA!
There are things that Ron Paul said that I agree with 100%. There are other things that I do not comletely agree with.
However, one of the things about Ron Paul that I find very comendible is his willingness to say that cuts are required across the board, including...ahem...from the military industrial complex.
In the same night Romney tells us he wants to kill PBS but not cut a single dime from defense. Of course Barry tells us he will cut but then spends more.
Same old, same old all around.
Have any of you considered he mentioned PBS because Jim Lehrer was the moderator? It would have been very easy to leave PBS out of it since they employ the guy moderating the debate. I think it was an attempt to show everyone should have to justify their existence.
its Romneys patented catch phrase used over and over " I'll fire your ass to make a buck!" nudge nudge. Its been a hit with douchbag corporatists for decades.
Magic-undies Mitt couldn't possibly give less of a fuck about the Constitution than he already does.
Ok - I'm game. Give me two examples and cite references. No? Go away dipshit...
Supports 'Patriot Act'. Supports Indefinite detention. He's stated as much publicly.
Here's a demonstration of Ro-money's constitutional knowledge.

Oscar the Grouch: Of all the streets in all the towns in all the world, he walks into mine.
As some of you know, I predicted the debate would be Reagan-Carter Part Deux. Well here's the next game changer. Ann Romney - guest hosting Good Morning America next week.

William, your work always cheers me up, especially ANY lampooning of the' shitty deal cartel.' Curious though if any of these sensitive-bankster types have ever threatened you to stop posting. I think its you, William, who is doing "God's work" here and not Blankfiend.
I don't think they feel threatened at all. If they did, they would have to shut the Internet down. Something that is on the drawing board already.
I agree, it will be up, but it is in control of the moeny people like Google, etc who wha have strayed from their user base and like their pedestals which they control the wired and wireless world.
well, to be fair, Blankfein never did actually specify precisely which God he was working for. remember...some people veiw money as god.
GOD = G.O.D = Gold, Oil, Drugs.
That is the GOD they refer to..
FIAT is for the sheep..
I would rather see Big Bird stay and get rid of the CIA, which has caused nothing but rouble over the years and the DEA a close second with their undercover "Fast and Furious"
Here is video of Mr. Rogers explaining the benefit of Childrens programing on PBS in front of the US Senate on 1969 when Richard Nixon was trying to cut funding for the CPB.

Congress knew back then you dont fuck with Mr. Rogers. He'd kick your ass all the way to the land of Make-Believe, and back!
RIP Fred Rogers.
Loved the obama-fied "Guy Smiley"
awesome work. i wish i could photoshop like that master banzai
Banzai!!! thank you. I was hoping you'd touch on this topic. Beautiful work as usual.
O man...that lapel pin is precious.
It's CNN, but the info seems to corroborate: http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/04/fact-check-will-romney-send-big-bir...
"Sesame Workshop, which produces "Sesame Street," says on its website that 93% of production costs for the show are covered by licensing activities or corporate sponsorships, CNNMoney.com reports.
But Children's Television Workshop, which helps produce "Sesame Street," gets a decent number of grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Here are the numbers for those ready to count with the Count: In 2009, it received $2.5 million in total. In 2010, a federal Ready to Learn grant, which helps put on educational TV shows, provided about $1.5 million, and the overall digital presence for "Sesame Street" and friends got $8 million to help spread educational messages and games online in 2011."
So Mittens could ding Big Bird by nuking PBS, but more than likely the Sesame Street gang would end up elsewhere: Nickelodean, Comedy Central, or a broadcast network. Since not everyone has cable...it would be best served on a boradcast network or just staying at PBS.
Mittens needs to be careful not piss off Hitler though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y67ebknqp1c
Let's prioritize just a little.
Projected cost of 'war on drugs' in 2013: $26 billion federal, 25 billion state and local.
Projected DHS budget for 2013: 45 billion.
Projected 'defense' budget for 2013: 672.9 billion.
Federal money for CPB: around 400 million.
So, where again should we start trimming the pork?
My parents don't watch anything other than PBS in the evenings. They contribute and so do many others.
You would never get that kind of a cultural, educational and news mix of content from the MSM.
So in terms of priority, I would rather see the money borrowed from China, actually Japan, pay for that than Blankfein's new Hampton guesthouse or some crony solar deal or another consulting contract for Giuliani & Co.
In the end, however, you can't spend money you can't print...
Ben Bernanke
Does anyone really believe PBS is the root of our problems? Is that the best anyone can come up with? Trying to dumb the population down even further to save what it costs to be in Afghanistan for two hours. As we print QE to infinity to fund the trust fund mafioso.
Trust me, the rest of the world is laughing at us, actually shaking their heads in wonderment, and with good reason.
PBS is just above MSNBC as far as political content, Soros owns that bitch, a virtual parade of clowns from CFR, CAP, and host of his IPCC coordinated climate-scam Carbon tax pushing groups regularly appear on PBS/NPR "news" programs. That's the problem for many about the public funding with PBS and especially NPR delivering Progressive propaganda at about a 4th grade level so it can't be dumbed down much further.
yeah, better to stick with the real geniuses for news over at the 700 club. No slanted porpaganda there
700 club? Sorry, I don't follow any religious BS.
The TBTF use PBS/NPR to push their agenda, ever listen to their business reports??!?! Pure channeling
85% of the funding for public television comes from contributions and licensing fees. the 444 mil accounts for 15% of their operating budget and .00012% of the Federal budget.
I grew up on a lot of the children's programs they aired in the early 70's and I'm glad I was exposed to that rather than the vile mindless non stop killing kids today are being weened on via the video games parents so gleefully hand over to them...and yes (for those about to pounce) I do in fact contribute to PBS every year and have so for the better part of 12 years now and I don't mind the $1.43 per year of my tax dollars that go towards funding it in addition.
PBS is an effing political tool
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ea9QzyOFRm0
What happens to Mr. Baloonhead when he encounters Pinhead?
I think we saw yesterday.
The Children's Television Workshop, the outfit responsible for all things Sesame, has earned billions in licensing fees. No goverment money should be given to such a corporate giant, whether it's GM or the Muppets. Even if it's a dime, I want it back. So mock if you want. It's this type of pointless largesse that is bankrupting the country.
Bah humbug! Sputnik is a fake. Don't make me NASA-up and Interwebs. Dig that coal!
right dumbass we need to free up more funding to bidless military contracts to haliburton. Gears of war oare reving up must stockpile more kevlar.
It sounds to me like you seriously need to get laid.
Continue.....come on now...you can do it....finish the thought.
Or a big oil company, or a solar panel start up or a gaggle of shitty TBTF banks.
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2012/10/04/Big-Bird-Richer-Than-Romney
So Breibart's ghost is complaining about $400 million going to public broadcasting, while a single F-22 costs $350M. A single one. And God forbid we'd have anything at all on TV [the primary source of information for most people whether we like it or not] that isn't funded by one of four gigantic for profit corporations. Get mad at something that makes sense.
