FEDERAL RESERVE PROPAGANDA 101

How long until we see this?

Do you have some time you can spend?
What's not to love
They're death from above
On doomsday they'll be your best friend

'Historical truth may be discovered by a professor of history. We, however, are serving historical necessity. It is not the task of art to be objectively true. The sole aim of propaganda is success" --Joseph Goebbels

Incidently, are you aware of what has been going on with media cross ownership rules and the FCC? What is designed to facilitate more concentration by Rupert Murdoch and his ilk is being promoted as a plan to promote diversity and minority ownership in media. Lean over please...

Yeah I thought it was, after watching so much of your work it had to be intentional, just thought I'd say from one Photoshop 1.0 to another I like the old school approach too.

Keep on truckin, brother

There is an aesthetic appeal to primitive technique. Much of the PS eye candy seems hyperreal and loses plausibility as a result.

All that classic Dada art was done with a pair of scissors and razor blades.

Yes, that is the problem. The eye candy photoshop images are usually devoid of relevance.

Yes, but so are haircuts and self-mutilation.

Ironic this gets linked under a propaganda post. This is pure propaganda.

The most important take away is that people will tend to assume what an authority figure is telling them is the truth. Especially when a camera is put in their face. They aren't thinking about the questions, they are thinking about how they are going to look on TV. I'm not saying they are anything but ignorant sheep, most of the public is.

My major problem with it beyond that (that being you can trip up 90% of the popu, ation this way on any subject, whereas over a dinner table conversation they would likely have a completely different perspective), is all of these positions ARE positions Mitt Romney supported as well. He selected positions that Romney would have backed too. So what the fuck is the intention of these questions? That they don't support Obama/Romney policies and therefore made an uninformed choice that made a difference?

Like I said, people are this ignorant. No argument there. But recognize propaganda when you see it, the tactics and the intent, and stop defending its use just because it supports your agenda. Doing so just shows how malleable YOU are, not them.

Sounds awfully familiar, isn't this what that one guy ... Prescott Bush ... wanted to do with that famous General?  Take over Washington? That Prescott Bush guy was related by blood, from what I hear, to some influential political figures.  Also, our #1 terrorist, wasn't his family, the Bin Ladens, weren't they INVESTED with some Bush family members? hmm

Nader has a great story re: Prescott & his mother.

Virtually all of my friends look at me like I have  two heads when I describe the financial shit-storm that's coming.

This is especially true of the young folks in the under 40 crowd. They have no clue because they've never personally experienced, as an adult, "hard times". They make think otherwise now, but I'll live long enough to see that smug look wiped off their faces.

For the average Joe, the Federal Reserve System, which is what controls our economy, is baffling. And you really cannot blame him because it was in fact designed to be baffling. All you can do is try to break it down and relate it to concrete facts such food and gas prices, the logarithmic wealth gap, jobless recovery and this fiscal cliff charade.

WB7. They dont consider food, shelter or water as important for their part. Thats where the jackboot fiscal folks show up.

It is not baffling if you have tax lawyers like mitt romney does.

Sure, but the consumer price index is a dominant parameter in the study of economics.

Truth in imagry.

I often shudder at the concept of humans being referred to as sheep as I am optimistic that most people have intelligence and use it, but lately I am discovering how many lap up the government propaganda.

Then there is a president who is opposite of what he claims to be and the population allows it to continue.

I think Gandhi proved something when he led his countrymen through peaceful means to independence.  It can be done, but the people have to be unied and in most countries they are not.

I have a hypothesis.  While most individuals have intelligence, common sense, or some combination of the two, and mostly use it to their benefit, the collective intelligence lags drastically behind the curve making people in very large groups and societies vulnerable to lies, theft, and all sorts of wrongdoing on a grand scale.

Humanity has not changed significantly over the centuries; only technology and innovation has allowed us to improve.

Sonny Landreth  "Blue Tarp Blues"

Air Force One had a heck of a view
Air Force One had a heck of a view
Looking down on the patchwork of the blue tarp blues.

I went Walkin through the water
sprung a leak in my shoes
I went Walkin through the water
sprung a leak in my shoes
that hole in my soul
give me the blue tarp blues.
I got the blues
I got the blue blue tarp blues.

There's a crack in the ceiling and the system too
There's a crack in the ceiling and the system too
We ain't got no coverage of the blue tarp blues.
I got the blues
I got the blue blue tarp blues.

I got the blues
I got the blue blue tarp blues.

No it wasn't the weather that shamed me and you
It was a bad fix of politics screaming through
That levee lock couldn't hold back the truth
We're in deep but not out of the reach
Loan me something, mister.

I'm gonna fly my colors and watch for you
I'm gonna fly my colors and watch for you
Like a flag of hope, but the blue tarp blues

I got the blues
I got the blue blue tarp blues.
I got the blues
I got the blue blue tarp blues

Agreed. As a guitarist Knopfler is much under-rated (See Rolling Stone greatest guitarists list), probably becuase his style is "Minimalist". But in terms of "Expression" he deserves to be way up there with the very best.

Knopfler is doing what I do. He goes way back searching the old music then brings it into the present. His music goes along with my pictures perfectly. The themes in those songs overlap as well.
