Big Brother Spying Didn’t Stop Connecticut School Shooter … Or 9/11

George Washington's picture

peeping tom eye hole Big Brother Spying Didnt Stop Connecticut School Shooter ... Or 9/11

Beyond any doubt, Big Brother has come to America.

Americans are .

Everyone in the country is spied on … and even top generals, Congress men and CIA directors  can be targeted.

The separation between spy agencies and military operations has disappeared … to the point where the same unaccountable government agency which spies on all Americans also decides who gets assassinated by drones.

And anyone who questions government actions or policies may be labeled a potential terrorist.

And yet – even with Big Brother sticking his nose in every aspect of our lives – that total surveillance didn’t stop the Connecticut school shooter.  Or the Batman shooter, the shooter of Congresswoman Giffords, Columbine, Virginia Tech, etc. etc. etc.

Of course, widespread spying on Americans began before 9/11 (confirmed here and here. And see this)

And U.S. and allied intelligence heard the 9/11 hijackers plans from their own mouths:

  • An FBI informant hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000. Specifically, investigators for the Congressional Joint Inquiry discovered that an FBI informant had hosted and even rented a room to two hijackers in 2000 and that, when the Inquiry sought to interview the informant, the FBI refused outright, and then hid him in an unknown location, and that a high-level FBI official stated these blocking maneuvers were undertaken under orders from the White House. As the New York Times notes:

Senator Bob Graham, the Florida Democrat who is a former chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, accused the White House on Tuesday of covering up evidence ….The accusation stems from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s refusal to allow investigators for a Congressional inquiry and the independent Sept. 11 commission to interview an informant, Abdussattar Shaikh, who had been the landlord in San Diego of two Sept. 11 hijackers.

  • The National Security Agency and the FBI were each independently listening in on the phone calls between the supposed mastermind of the attacks and the lead hijacker. Indeed, the FBI built its own antenna in Madagascar specifically to listen in on the mastermind’s phone calls
  • According to various sources, on the day before 9/11, the mastermind told the lead hijacker “tomorrow is zero hour” and gave final approval for the attacks. The NSA intercepted the message that day and the FBI was likely also monitoring the mastermind’s phone calls
  • According to the Sunday Herald, two days before 9/11, Bin Laden called his stepmother and told her “In two days, you’re going to hear big news and you’re not going to hear from me for a while.” U.S. officials later told CNN that “in recent years they’ve been able to monitor some of bin Laden’s telephone communications with his [step]mother. Bin Laden at the time was using a satellite telephone, and the signals were intercepted and sometimes recorded.” Indeed, before 9/11, to impress important visitors, NSA analysts would occasionally play audio tapes of bin Laden talking to his stepmother.
  • And according to CBS News, at 9:53 a.m on 9/11, just 15 minutes after the hijacked plane had hit the Pentagon, “the National Security Agency, which monitors communications worldwide, intercepted a phone call from one of Osama bin Laden’s operatives in Afghanistan to a phone number in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia”, and secretary of Defense Rumsfeld learned about the intercepted phone call in real-time (if the NSA monitored and transcribed phone calls in real-time on 9/11, that implies that it did so in the months leading up to 9/11 as well)

But even with all of that spying, the government didn't stop the hijackers ... even though 9/11 was entirely foreseeable.

Why did we lose our rights if the government isn’t even keeping us safe?

Hmmm. Well, my point was less about GW and more about human nature. GW is perhaps more, how you say, eloquent.

Back in the day, I suggested to those that worked for me that if there was a problem, I wanted to hear about it. But if they really wanted to resolve the issue, they'd bring a least one, preferably more, solution ideas along with them.

Of course, any more, it's damn near impossible to get anyone to realize that there's even a problem.

So either nothing was resolved at your place (because no one ever brought a solution), or you just contradicted your prior post.

No actually, a lot of things got resolved and by methods I may not have envisioned or considered. Plus, I had employees thinking three-dimensionally about what they were doing. It helped too that they weren't literal.

So you're saying that you're people brought solutions to you (and good ones at that).  Doesn't that contradict what you said here:

" you try and point out defects but offer no solution"

Did you really expect that BIG BROTHER SPYING would stop a mentally ill person attacking a small town elementary school?  REALLY?  Do you think there's a Dvision of Pre-Crime somewhere monitoring every person in the country? and they just dropped the ball or worse yet "let" it happen?

>>>Big Brother Spying Didn’t Stop Connecticut School Shooter … Or 9/11<<<

Government survelliance didn't stop my neighbor's car from being broken in to either, but then nobody's was expecting it to.

How pathetic that you are using the deaths of these people to launch a rant about government survelliance.  No need to use the deaths of kindergarteners to do this.

Just rant away.

The rant was about safety and about how government spying doesn't increase it which was then evidenced by a couple bloody examples.

Yes.  BIG BROTHER SPYING failed to prevent my neighbor's car from being broken into...a laptop from being stolen a few blocks away...or an old lady from a purse snatcher in a strip mall parking lot.

Only an idiot would expect survelliance to actually protect from these things everywhere all the time or claim they expected survelliance to protect us from these things and then bleat and moan when they don't because they took away our privacy.

Shit the reality is that in about 90+% of the US, the authorities aren't watching much of anything.

You're the idiot for falling for GW's sad assed lack of content disquised as a loss of liberties arguemnt and his douche bag use of dead children to call attention to the fact that he didn't have anything to say.

Governments / groups do not commit crimes or infringe on individuals rights, other individuals do. Every criminal act is committed by an individual person. I would contend the spying is done for the benefit of a specific individual's interest in gaining an advantage over another person he / she would otherwise be unable to obtain legitimately.

Truth is its own defense but the concept of "only bad people have something to hide" is patently evil. I find it reprehensible that GS and their ilk have inside information on the direction certain industries and governments’ economies are headed and utilize this information to exploit and enslave future generations.

Economic freedom remains a core value to be strived for and just because frns have "legal tender for all debts public and private" printed on them doesn't make their serial numbers invisible. Ending the fed and restoring constitutional currency must be part and parcel of this discussion of unwarranted spying.

Also very unsettling is a list of major 'discrepancies' in the government and media accounts of the Connecticut School Shootings, on the important US dissident site 'Veterans Today'

(Not what the site sounds like - the site is ex-US military and intel people very disillusioned, and radically critical of the US system, tho they have a few bizarre things of disinfo by some contributors, along with much truther-ness)

Re the Connecticut shootings, for example, Clare Kuehn on Veterans Today writes:

---

« As yet, parents have not been allowed to see their children. (Photoshopped pictures do not count.)

According to the official story, Adam Lanza was found with his older brother’s ID, and it was not stolen. However, older brother Ryan–who officials say is very cooperative–claims not to have even seen his brother since 2010. Where would Adam get this ID? And why does such use not qualify as a theft?

According to the official story, Adam Lanza was wearing a black outfit with a mask and bulletproof vest. Why would he want to hide his identity, and why would he wear a bulletproof vest, if he planned to kill himself?

The medical examiner asserts that all wounds were caused by a rifle or other long weapon, and police/FBI say that the school was littered with .223 (rifle) casings. But Adam Lanza was found dead in the school with only handguns–a rifle was found in the trunk of his car. But then he could not possibly have been firing the rifle, and could not have committed the murders. Who did?

According to the official story, the killing was tightly confined to two classrooms. But then why were so many children told to close their eyes while leaving the building?

Joanne Didonato, the principal’s secretary, called in sick on Friday–something she rarely does. So presumably, she must have been awfully ill. Yet she then felt well enough to give an interview. “Of all days,” she said, emphasizing the strange coincidence.

The hospital went into lockdown and cleared four trauma rooms, but received only three patients, two of them dead children(according to the official story) and one mildly wounded adult.

Why were there such persistent reports that Mrs. Lanza was a kindergarten teacher, and that she died at the school, when the new official story is that she was not connected to the school and was killed at home?

What happened to the report that Adam Lanza’s girlfriend and another friend were missing in New Jersey?

What happened to the woodsman in a black jacket and camo pants who was arrested and handcuffed outside the school? He actually shouted to parents, “It wasn’t me.” Who was he and what was he doing there?

What happened to the dark van or SUV that the police surrounded in the parking lot, or the maroon sedan with a blown-out back window they were on the lookout for?

Would real parents of real children really be satisfied with (possibly photoshopped) pictures of their children? Wouldn’t they demand to see their children one last time firsthand?

According to the official story, 28 people died but only 1 was wounded. The dead included 20 small, squirmy children–difficult targets even for professionals. How could Adam Lanza achieve such amazingly deadly accuracy, in such a short length of time?

A child asserts that he/she heard someone say, “Put your hands up,” followed by the reply, “Don’t shoot.” This indicates that the police took a suspect into custody inside the school. But if that was Adam Lanza, how did he kill himself after that point?

Another child asserts that he/she saw a man pinned down to the ground with handcuffs on. Again, this indicates that the police took a man into custody. If that was Adam Lanza, how did he then kill himself?

When Ryan Lanza was falsely identified as the shooter, who deleted his Facebook profile and created many others in his name?

Why did the police say on Friday that they were going to leave the bodies rotting in the school until Sunday, then Saturday morning announce that they had spirited the bodies away in the middle of the night? Perhaps to ensure that the transport, if any, would go unrecorded on photos or video?

Why won’t police tell us where they found the Henry repeating rifle, the Enfield rifle, and the shotgun?

Did the school have one or more security cameras? What do they show?

Why did a police officer specifically mention, on radio, that “they’re coming at me through this wood,” followed by a fellow officer saying, “This is it”?

Why is Adam Lanza reported to be a loner when a teenager said (oxymoronically), “[Lanza and his friends] always gathered alone in a corner in school”?

Why did police assign an individual state trooper to every grieving family, whether the family wants such “protection” or not?

Why are Ryan Lanza and his roommates still in custody, and why are the police pretending that it’s for their own benefit?

Is it a coincidence that Nancy Lanza’s brother is Kingston Police Officer James Champion, who lives next door to the former Lanza home?

Since the alleged shooter’s father is VP of GE Capital, and (like “Batman shooter” James Holmes’s father) was scheduled to testify at the Senate Hearings on the LIBOR scandal, is there a LIBOR connection to this event?

Bank guy, I originally read this as your own list (adding more credence to it).   Two things I can add are:

-  Sandy Hook - Batman connection.  I went and got the movie out from our local video shop and sure enough it was there.  Alex Jones spouts the same "connection".  A given:  You have to know that it was there in order to be able to see it (freeze frame plus zoom in), whoever first raised this "knew" about it.  The only remaining question for me was whether "Sandy Hook" is established Batman "Lore".  In previous Gotham city maps "Sandy Hook" is South Hinkley .... from what I have seen.

- Autopsy reports 2 to 11 shots per victim and .223 rounds

Another clue that points towards the possibillity that the 20 year old Adam Lanza was acting a fantasy. (as "enforcer" taking a fantasy enemy down")

There is no credible evidence that Lanza or Holmes, for that matter, did any shooting in either of the massacres they are implicated in.  There is plenty of evidence, though, that the shooters were professionals and that Holmes and Lanza were merely drugged patsies, involuntary supporting actors in a much bigger conspiracy.

Wikipedia is a Zionist disinformation site.  The suggestion that they are considering deleting the Holmes wiki-page is just another small bit of  evidence that these acts of terrorism involve our Zionist overlords.

The gun grabbers will say that cars, etc. have other uses than killing. They ignore the fact that very few firearms are ever used to kill anyone and therefore they must provide some other utility for those who spend hundreds or thousands of dollars in obtaining them. They ignore real world human action and believe that gun owners (synonymous with "maniacs") exhibit nothing more than animal spirits. They fail to understand the issue and so they propose the worst possible remedy.

Based on survey data from a 2000 study published in the Journal of Quantitative Criminology, U.S. civilians use guns to defend themselves and others from crime at least 989,883 times per year.

A must read interview with John Lott...

http://www.press.uchicago.edu/Misc/Chicago/493636.html

The facts and the much professed ghoulish numbers don't lie, unless they are TWISTED.

A snip...

Question: Your argument about criminals and deterrence doesn’t tell the whole story. Don’t statistics show that most people are killed by someone they know?

Lott: You are referring to the often-cited statistic that 58 percent of murder victims are killed by either relatives or acquaintances. However, what most people don’t understand is that this “acquaintance murder” number also includes gang members killing other gang members, drug buyers killing drug pushers, cabdrivers killed by customers they picked up for the first time, prostitutes and their clients, and so on. “Acquaintance” covers a wide range of relationships. The vast majority of murders are not committed by previously law-abiding citizens. Ninety percent of adult murderers have had criminal records as adults.
