yeah i long for the old days of film stock. but someone is probably working on a app right now, to adjust your digital photo to the desired color balance and graininess of any of the old brand name film stocks. i esp like the old travelogue footage done on kodak (rip) film.

Sorry, the international copyright management on utube is impossible to cut through. It's Princes 1999. Try googling it in another browser tab.
1929 was 2007. 1930 is today (5 years later). 1932 was rock bottom. 1936 things started to pick up again.
What took 6 months back then now takes four years. With all this technology and government spending, things have gotten slower.
So what took 2 years back then may take 16 years now - and that's just on the down slide.

that photo was taken in Zuckerbergs den at the same time as that famous kitchen photo. all the old schoolers are hanging out at the bar, under the ersatz picasso mural. BB: they're drinking MD in the kitchen, let's break out the scotch. LB: I don't know if this is scotch but it's the right color HP: I've got some really fine weed in this envelope
29 was the year the stock market crashed, but the depression didn't begin in earnest for a year or two at least. (it's a bit like the Mayan calendar, everyone is saying so what? well wait a year) money will not disappear but confidence in the cash will, and then hyperinflation sets in. they're already talking about milk being $6 a gallon. but take a tip from Al Greenspan and use a substitute, like chicken for beef, use goats milk for cows milk. (WHIP inflation one more time) goats are ideal for the family farm. just not sure how to substitute for paper products, which have to be manufactured. oh wait, yeah, those dirty greenbacks are going on the outhouse wall. see there are a few silver linings and here's hoping you have lots of them in 2013..
