I got caught stealing once. I was 8 years old or thereabouts. Stole some candy from a local gas station. I grew up in a town of 8,000 people. My dad came home and wondered where I got the candy from. He made me confess. My punishment? He put me in the car, drove me back to the gas station, made me give the candy back to the manager, tell him what I did and apologize. Worst day of my life ever!! But I learned my lesson I never stole again. My dad is an attorney. So not all lawyers have no moral compass :) I think we need a little more accountability like I was shown at 8 in congress and government in general.
I know what they are thinking. Oh, he didn't pocket the money, he did it to save the company.
But you and I both know that does not make a difference at all, except in the minds of the corrupt.
