Sorry to be crass and offensive to anyone's "beliefs" but I fail to make the connection between true culture and outright generational indoctrination and programming. "Christianity" has done more to destroy cultures worldwide, particularly those of indigenous peoples, in it's name over the ages than anything else. How about the Filipinos literally getting nailed to crosses and paraded around. First nations boys in Canada forced into butt sex with religious authoritarians. Great culture. Our entire concept of "culture" has been largely perverted and distorted I submit...
I don't mean to get into an argument over this as you're not only masterfully chronicling our modern "culture" (or whatever the fuck it is) in your art but you also seem like a very sharp, very nice guy and I appreciate everything you give us all.

I really wasn't commenting on your link. I just want people to understand when I am pointing my satire at religion. I did so last month on the subject of separation of church and state. I have no use for organized religion and religious fanaticism.
In this case, however, I'm merely taking the holiday symbolism and using it as a convenient platform for skewering pigs.
I do believe that just like everything else, religion can be sincere but too often is corrupt.

i go to this episcopal based Easter affair, and i like to tell people its more civilized, they speak about remembrance. they're having lunch with the savior, instead of having the savior for lunch.
When I do participate in Passover I always look forward to the bitter herb and matzah, but I never liked the salt water with the egg.
