Tedbits: Tsunami Alert: Send in the Bond Squad; Wolf Wave; Economic Murder

TedBits:  The Economic and Financial NO SPIN Zone
Global Macroeconomic Analysis Through the Austrian Lens
By Theodore (Ty) Andros

An underwater earthquake has occurred in Spain and is quite possibly occurring now in Italy.  Killer waves are now headed directly at the central banks and financial systems throughout the developed world and at Europe in Particular.  How long until they hit and do the financial equivalent of Japan’s recent tsunami?  Socialist bureaucrats and progressives on both sides of the Atlantic are locked in death struggles with Mother Nature.  THEY WILL LOSE.

Socialist public servants and banksters in Brussels and Washington are DESPERATELY trying to repeal the law of nature:  You MUST produce more than you consume or PERISH.  Economic systems which are predicated upon the consumption of wealth rather than the production of it are now on their deathbeds.  The obscenity of counting consumption as production, as does Keynesian economics, is exposed for its fundamental flaw -- it counts wealth consumption and destruction as wealth production.  How absurd.
The $5 Trillion plus borrowed in the United States since 2008 has been called GDP (Gross Domestic Product).  It is nothing of the sort.  It is a call on $5 trillion of wealth created by present and future generations and spent on CONSUMPTION and welfare for those in government, their bankster, crony capitalists and their something-for-nothing constituents.  Think of what the GDP numbers would have been had this borrowing not been counted as production.  This is wealth destruction pure and simple, implemented by RADICAL SOCIALISTS who are in power throughout the developed world.  As Norman Thomas prophesized in 1944, it is now all true:

Norman Matoon Thomas

This prophecy is NOW OCCURRING as socialism’s “MISERY SPREAD WIDELY” is in full bloom throughout the developed world.  Furthermore, the ECONOMIC and SOCIETAL collapse from socialist policies and UNSOUND money is accelerating!

Bullish for emmigration to central and south America? Thailand? Marc Faber ahead of the trend.

i forgot where i got this quote from but it fits.

“If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead, it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs,” explained the late Gary Allen. “Communism or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”

We need to get past some of the simplistic dichotomies and think of the new path forward.

Consider if you will Robert La Follette's classic 1917 Senate address on free speech in a time of war.

http://www.uark.edu/depts/comminfo/cambridge/war.html

This guy was a big-time progressive and one of the top third party vote-getters in 20th century presidential politics.

Do you disagree with sentiments like:

I think all men recognize that in time of war the citizen must surrender some rights for the common good which he is entitled to enjoy in time of peace. But sir, the right to control their own Government according to constitutional forms is not one of the rights that the citizens of this country are called upon to surrender in time of war.

Rather in time of war the citizen must be more alert to the preservation of his right to control his Government. He must be most watchful of the encroachment of the military upon the civil power. He must beware of those precedents in support of arbitrary action by administrative officials, which excused on the plea of necessity in war time, become the fixed rule when the necessity has passed and normal conditions have been restored.

Just because Fightin' Bob was a socialist type of guy?  If so, please stop pretending to believe in America's future, because you are part of the problem.

“The Democrat Party has adopted our platform”

Sentence not complete..

It should end with “and the Republicans will feign opposition.”

We need a term for the marriage of Socialism and Crony Captialism.

Facikleptoligarchism?

The argument between socialism and capitalism is a dead horse; Frankenstein and his Bride have wedded and are terrorizing the vilagers.

Yeah, and Corporations and their CEOs were strong and individuals were weak in pre war NAZI Germany too. Some republicans resemble NAZIs as well.

Truth is this country swings back and forth between one party and the other continually searching for the lesser of two evils. Unfortunately to be a member of either party these days you have to be an extremist. I see no difference between Pelosi and Reid or Baynor and McConnell. The one group of people that decide who becomes president are usually non aligned. That's why the US has not become a Socialist or Facist state in hundreds of years.

Most Decent Americans cheered when Lieberman changed to an Independent and managed to keep his job after the extremists in the Democratic party tried to oust him.

Idealists  ==  Idol Worshippers.

Junk away you brainwashed knee-jerk morons.

Right is Wrong
Black is White
Bad is Good
Socialism is Capitalism
Anarchism is Communism
Communism is America
Anarchism is Chaos
America is Right

I think it is about time we reground ourselves and redefine which Word holds which Signification.

Let's start with America : when was America "not socialist and something else?"

Definition of SOCIALISM 1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods 2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state. Last time I checked, virtually all of the debt is being incurred to line the pockets of private TBTF bankers and companies, while the middle class gets poorer.  Over the last forty years, massive privatization has occurred on all levels including even the military.   More poor people have resulted leading to greater food stamps etc., but that is the symptom not the cause.  This article calling out "socialism" as the problem facing America is an exercise in ideological fantasy and intellectual laziness.

I salute your continued effort to bring back some actual meaning to these words so that the global ZH readership can orientate itself to a robust exchange on these matters. Somewhat sadly, it seems to me at least, people such as yourself are losing the battle to fear based ideologues who aren't exactly clear on these matters but are, or seemingly are, frightened by certain words & phrases.

This contributor has clearly been brought up on some heavy baloney. This 'you must produce!' meme is getting scary.

Yet he failed to label it properly as FASCISM, instead choosing to use it (as always) as a whipping boy for CAPITALISM.

If you hadn't noticed, his posts are nothing BUT fear based ideologies.

Selective intelligence, maybe?

And who do you suppose is doing the corrupting of the government?   Capitalism and fascism are inexorably intertwined and always will be.   The trick is to balance the capitalists against the facsists against the true socialists (not the bastardized version of the term floated about MSM), and try to come up with a system that is relatively free while not letting the oligarchs rule you or the freeloaders suck you dry.  If that's fear based ideology, guilty.  But I think you are looking in a mirror when you complain of such things.

Capitalism and fascism are inexorably intertwined and always will be.

Yeah, that's the giant lie that is dispersed over and over again, when in practical examples the real socialism always quickly became much closer to fascism.

Oh, and before the discussions erupt, let me make it clear that the most general definition, to which I adhere, is:
Fascism - a system in which the individual and his well-being counts nothing compared to the over-arching society/majority/country/idea (or whatever you want to call it)

Note well the benign appearance of a bureaucrat willing to crucify; http://tinyurl.com/c3nan6p

Consider if the same words were spoke by a white man of how to control non-whites who broke laws.

If justice is blind and equal, what does this say about the the punishment that should be given to banksters and politicians who break laws?

Or maybe this man should ask himself what does this mean about the punishment he should received for abusing his office and not meting administrative justice equally?

To crucify a man during Roman times meant it highly likely his family would be in great danger of starvation.

Do not the innocent workers at these energy companies have children to feed?  Oh that's right, we have the Hope & Change of forever extending food stamps for them...
