Statism is on the rise and as long as parents relinquish their control, even "religious" vision will not benefit. I find it amusing when (s)elected officials blame religion for society's ills but when the wheels truly fall off, they come pleading for christian leaders to have more influence.
Statism is the worst form af religion ever devised and needs to be called out for the truly evil consequences that have plagued every society that has ever attempted to impliment its tenets.
At its core, it requires blind faith in the physical realm and exercises ruthless compliance to any that would question its divinity.
Power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing do not find their origin in the mortal world.

We're all entitled to our opinion, I suppose. I believe experience would clearly show that power, wealth, strength are physical phenomena. Wisdom is difficult to pin down. Honor, glory and blessing (?) are subject to cultural perspective, useless on a financial blog.
This is all good stuff. But as most ZH'ers know I am under the chemistry contraption called the tax code, and I do it willingly like Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Banzai.
The only caveot is that the texts of most religions is less than 10,000 pages. The US tax code is something different.
