I Illustrate Exactly What Kind Of Battle The Google/Apple Thing Really Is On Max Keiser Show

Reggie Middleton's picture

I've noticed that many who take issue with my analysis of Google and Apple truly don't understand what kind of company Google is. To call it a search engine, ad company, or even Android vendor is to demonstrate an ignorance as to both its business model, accomplishments and aspirations. Google is not a search engine, ad company or even a mobile OS vendor, it is a data company and the foremost data company in the world.

I took the time to explain this in detail on the Max Keiser show last week. I think it's worth a listen. Click here for the full show, and see below for the excerpt....

For all of those near fanatics who do not subscribe, I suggest you ask a friend who does subscribe to share with you the difference between last month's valuation note target price (page 10 of File Icon Apple Margin & Valuation Note) and the price of Apple today (click here to subscribe). I also urge the same for Google using our latest Google Q1-2012 Valuation Summary. BoomBustBlog's tech research has been on point with these two companies, just as it has been with Research in Motion, referencing Hindsight Is 20/20, And As Luck Has It Our Foresight On Research in Motion Was Right On The Money Two Years Ago.

Google still exhibits the likelihood that they will control mobile computing for the balance of the decade.

A couple of bits from our archives...

There are currently 7 Google reports available. Select the "Google Final Report" and click the "Download" button. You will receive a 63 page analysis that looks like this on the cover...

The table of contents outlines how we have broken Google down into distinct businesses and identified both the individual business models and the potential revenue streams, as well as  valuation for each business line.

Page 57 of the analysis shows a sensitivity table which outlines the various scenarios that can come into play and how it will change our outlook and valuation opinion.

Professional/institutional subscribers can actually access a subset of the model that we used to create the sensitivity analysis above to plug in their own assumptions in case they somehow disagree with our assumptions or view points. Click here for the model: Google Valuation Model (pro and institutional). Click here to subscribe or upgrade.

Fresh and Very Accurate Apple Research

For all of those near fanatics who do not subscribe, I suggest you ask a friend who does subscribe to share with you the difference between last month's valuation note target price (page 10 of File Icon Apple Margin & Valuation Note) and the price of Apple today, the day after earnings (click here to subscribe).

As excerpted:

It is worth noting that the key assumptions that underline the above valuations – (1) iPhone continuing to witness stupendous growth *******  in 2012 and ****** 2013 over a larger base and (2) iPhone margins continue to remain healthy off stable prices and despite increase in material cost – should be keenly watched over the next couple of quarters.

Then ask them bout the logical argument behind the concern with Apple and the extremely volatile price action of the last few weeks. As stated many times in the past, The BoomBustBlog argument and analysis is solid.

What else is there to the earnings announcement? Well we were absolutely correct in terms of the oncoming margin compression of the the product lines, something that was actually easy to see coming but many refused to admit. Of course, there will be those select few that say, "But wait, the company reported an INCREASE in margins while you said there will be a decrease!". Yes, that's true and both can exist simultaneously.

Reggie, you've been pumping GOOG/Android and dumping on AAPL for about two years on ZH.  (iArgued w you.)  Since then GOOG has hardly moved and AAPL has gone from $240 to $570.  Yet in this last post you say:

Fresh and Very Accurate Apple Research

It may be fresh, but where's the historical accuracy?

WTF?

A "data company" means an "espionage company."

Uncle Sambo is watching you and you're paying for it with your tax dollars,  No wonder its "free."

I'm really starting to get sick of this guy.  He used to be legit, but now TPTB are using him to promote/pump their companies.

Reggie definitely has a bright future on CNBC... maybe even a replacement for Cramer.

Nice find.

Has anyone tried hushmail? I'm trying to get off gmail. Problem is if I email someone with gmail it defeats the point of my getting off it because my messages will still sit on google servers.

Also, people who get facebook notifications @ gmail accounts should realize google can likely go through those and get all your fb info/chats.

I spoke at length with an AT &T tech, about emails.

If your computer crases, your emails, are saved on their servers...........but, not ALL of them.

He explained to me that if I DELETE the email, its gone for good, and no copy is on their servers................its in Cyberspace.

So I make a habit of deleting ALL my emails as soon as I send them out,DELETE, not send to the trash bin, where they are still stored.

Now,whether he was full of it or not I do not know. But I had mistakenly deleted one I needed to keep, and he said Sorry....................its history.

In other words, avoid email to avoid gmail.

I used hushmail for a while, but you have to use it actively or they'll delete your account after three weeks of inactivity (free version that is).

Cool. I will sign up for hushmail and try to get others to migrate.

Do we know they're secure like they say they are, though? I mean, why trust them? Same with startpage. Looks great, but how do we know anymore?

Your post reads like your dick, Reggie - font size so small . you need tweezers and a magnifying glass to figure out what it says. Waste of pixels. Go back to the skin and spear photo - at least something was entertaining in your posts back then. Now, you have finally completed your transformation into pimp crusader for the establishment status quo.

I'm shocked, Reggie - you could only get six of your Kool Aid followers to down vote me for my creative critique of your microscopic chart porn. I guess the posse is dropping back into reality from the free alcohol soaked boat trips. TFB for you all. Thank you, thank you very much. Come see me again, I'll be here all week long in the Fiat Lounge here at the Bankster Hilton - not performing, just drinking.

Yes google is a data company and their business model, like Facebook, is to strip mine and monetize our privacy for free.

I was a very early user of Google's cloud suite of applications such as Google docs, which I have stopped using because of its primitive design.

Similarly, I no longer use Picasa for image hosting because it sucks royally and while I reluctantly put video on YouTube (the public airwave of video), that platform also sucks compared to Vimeo.

It is a well known fact that Blogger is inferior to Word Press and Gmail is just another sieve for personal data.

Basically their primary design parameter is to suck user data. Their so called end user offerings are data Trojan Horses.

One thing that I find very troublesome is their ability to arbitrarily shut you down without explanation. This is one of the reasons I decided to diversify my web foot print.

Twitter and Flipboard have replaced Google News in my world. Dropbox serves my file sharing needs.

They may not be a search company, but that seems to be the only corner of my digital lifestyle that they have cornered, and that is about to change as well.

One piece of my data they will never see is a credit card.

If I could time travel ahead 50 years from now, I would not be surprised to learn that skynet is called Google/Getco.

Remeber back in the mid 90's when the NSA was complaining that it just could not keep up?  Heard any of that latley?  Between Google, Facebook, Amazon, Paypal, Twitter and the telco's very little is private anymore.

The best part?  People purchase little computers with unique identification which they willingly use, keep on their persons and pay for!  Smart phones are the electric leashes of modern man.

And for all you who think an anonymous service will save you please consider that there are data elements which come from your machine that can be used to fingerprint it.  Once known, does not really matter how you get to a site, your trail is still discoverable.

Encrypted https traffic or email == point to point beacon of light that sets you apart from the rest of the traffic.

What disturbs me the most about privacy invasions by TPTB is the apathy displayed by the masses.

Some of them are fairly intelligent, the majority not so much.

I now realize my "truths" and "writings on the wall" as I call them are unpopular.

The overall lack of preparation (for anything) and knowledge of how we got to this place will surely please the masters, and contribute to the mayhem.

It is weird that you mentioned being shut down.  I have a couple of small websites.  Nothing huge.  But, I put Google Ads up on them.  I got paid once, worked back up over $90 again, and my account got cancelled.  No explanation was given.  So I told my friend that he might as well throw some ads up on the sites because the space was open and I didn't really care about it.  He got paid once, then was cancelled just before the second payment.  Again no reason was given.  I am getting ready to let a third guy use it.

What Google really is - a CIA-seeded, CIA-sponsored, CIA-backed, CIA-tied company, set up in the 1990s as part of the whole network of CIA companies via CIA venture capital firm In-Q-Tel etc.

With the goal of censoring and controlling the internet for the US government.

Here you see a web photo of Google's live global censoring and blocking of websites on US court corruption, by an important political refugee from the US in Belgium. I have met him, he is under the protection of the Belgian monarchy here against US threats to murder him. (I use a photo from one of his sites as my avatar on ZeroHedge, as a way of honouring him).

This man is a dissident who assisted many thousand of victims of the US legal system before Google Inc 'erased' all his websites from search results:

Facebook is the same thing.  I look at these companies with mega valuations, and no apparent business model, other than to collect data, and recognize the only possible paying customer.

Plus, "do no evil", WTF?  Why would that be your company motto in the first place?
