Will Rogue Fundamentalist Christian Military Leaders Start a Nuclear War in the Middle East?

George Washington's picture

Before You Write Off This Threat … Read This

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that if the U.S. invades the sovereignty of countries like Syria or Iran, it could lead to nuclear war.   And see this.

Russia and China have previously stated that an attack on Iran would be considered a direct threat to their national security.

And Iran and Syria have had a mutual defense pact for years. China and Russia might also defend Syria if it is attacked. So an attack on Syria could draw Iran into the war … followed by China and Russia.

The House approved a resolution Thursday preventing containment as a method of making sure that Iran does not obtain nuclear weapons, rejecting:

any policy that would rely on efforts to contain a nuclear weapons-capable Iran.

The next day, the House authorized the use of force against Iran to keep it from developing nukes.

Of course, while the Middle Eastern wars are mainly driven by oil (and perhaps protecting the dollar) – and while real conservatives are anti-war-  many in the U.S. military view the wars as a literal crusade, and see Islam itself as their mortal enemy.

For example, Wired reported last week:

The U.S. military taught its future leaders that a “total war” against the world’s 1.4 billion Muslims would be necessary to protect America from Islamic terrorists, according to documents obtained by Danger Room. Among the options considered for that conflict: using the lessons of “Hiroshima” to wipe out whole cities at once, targeting the “civilian population wherever necessary.”

If this sounds nuts, remember that … and atheist Neocons and Neolibs are using religion to rile them up to justify war against Iran.

And Professor Michel Chossudovsky documents that the U.S. is so enamored with nuclear weapons that it has authorized low-level field commanders to use them in the heat of battle in their sole discretion … without any approval from civilian leaders.

What could possibly go wrong?

The virtual printers are running, but most of the money never gets past the biggest banks.

I'm not quite sure what's going on with that. The Fed made a big deal about their newly legislated ability a couple of years ago to pay interest on funds banks hold at the Fed, and that certainly must have helped to pull a lot of money out of circulations via Reserve Balances at the Fed Banks.

But those balances are not counted in the money supply. Despite that new tool to adjust the money supply, The Monetary Base has still jumped dramatically.

It seems to me that the big jump in the monetary base should be causing a lot more inflation than we've already seen, despite all the money "sitting in vaults" (or computers) at the Fed.

Perhaps it's being exported to other countries still foolishly using this reserve currency, or propping up the stock market?

They can't afford a conventional war anymore, me thinks.

Bullshit, Georgy boy. You clearly know nothing about "fundamentalist" Christians or their beliefs. Shit for brains toad is what you are.

A fundamentalist Christian is not a Christian nor is any Christian that sees war as a preferable or enlightened response to a problem.

Self defence is about as far as a Christian should go in war.

War is the ultimate expression of failure of both the human mind as well as the human spirit.

There are many types of fundamentalists including many peaceful types, but the christian taleban as represented by rick santorum should not come anywhere near a nuclear weapon cuz they are scary.

I only advocate killing generals and targeting their families if they start a war. Purely defensive and self preservative actions.

The insane christian taleban are quite willing to starta war just because they are israelbots and will do anything israel wants. I know them well enough being a recovering baptist mysef that they do not fear a big middle eastern conflagration that engulfs the world. They welcome it

I don't see how that is going to help when it is the the shadowy figures behind the politicians who are the problem.

Nice generalization moron.  There are plenty of Christians who are not israel bots.  Name any Christians in the Obama admin who have been ****king destroying this country?  Or any Christians at The Fed?

My guess is you are Democrat who voted for him.  The Republicans suck but the Democrats are pure evil.  A good example is the Kennedys who just killed yet anlther woman or wife.

Bush & Obama are both Christians... you Jesus followers can argue amongst yourselves who is & who is not a "real" Christian --as far as I can tell there are very few of you who embody what Jesus taught.

A Christian that wants war is an oxymoron.

But a well oxygenated moron proves that his stupidity is genetic.

Basic assuptions held by both beleivers and opponents of Christianity are erroneous, leading to a Great Counterfeit foisted upon the planet that is antithetical to what Jesus taught.

That basic and false assumtion is this:

"Your choice: Be my friend, or suffer the consequenses!"

C'mon, is this how Love operates?

Just askin'.

Admirable sentiment Koos, however they have chosen to remain blind and ignorant for the last 2000 years mostly due to carrot and stick  motivations like heaven and hell.

Still we cant give up on these poor unfortunate people, everyone gets a chance for redemption, even gandalf worshippers.....it's more humane than burning them at the stake or drowning the females.

Its the atheists burden Koos, we cant let ouselves become as base and inhumane as they are.

The OFFALcial version of events on September 11, 2001 is one the greatest hoax in world history, and is used to manipulate ignorant people for political purposes.  It has led to undermining the Constitution, launching illegal wars, and subjecting people to unrestricted surveillance.

Terrorism involves the use of acts of violence and threats of violence to instill fear into a population in order to manipulate it for political purposes, the ameriKlan government uses terrorism to manipulate people.

The purpose of 911?

  • To enable the rapid introduction of police state laws under the guise of "The War AND Terror".

  • To start a mass program of propaganda against Muslims and the Arab World, in preparation for the coming war between Zionists and the Islamic World.

What a jerk comment. As if the Muslims haven't been at war against Christianity and Judaism since it started! Read a book, get a clue. The Crusades in the Middle Ages were a reaction to Muslims taking over the "Holy Land", destroying other religions' temples and putting up their own churlish mosques, trashing Christian basic teachings in Jeruslaem.

I understand that conspiracy fans must have their reality fix, like UFOs and double-double-double agents. Reality is like Occam's Razor- see it simple and basic and very hard in its unforgiving nature.

Even if what you say is true, what you have to realize is that the US is not always against Islam.  In the former Yugoslavia, we have been supporting Sunni Muslims against Christian Serbs for 20 years.  (Of course this war is conveniently not preached from the pulpit on Sunday.  But the Protestant voting bloc has given carte blanche to the Military, so it really doesnt' matter.)

In fact, my own opinion is the true ( unnamed) enemy of the US/UK/Israeli alliance IS actually the Church, the old Church, Catholic and Orthodox, which have proven to be invulnerable to infiltration and subversion by said alliance.

succinct.

once one absolutely realises (as opposed to believes, as beliefs change over time) this as truth, then all other actions arise from this.

one needn't participate in any of the cultural distractions, like "elections" or even "protests" - because once one realises that the system, gov, whatever name is chosen, does not benefit you, nor will it preserve you or your family and loved ones - once you KNOW this truth, you can act within this knowledge.

there will be war, it's obvious, that's how their game is "reset" - so we savour our present time, while preparing as best we know how for the future.

thank you sir, your posts contain much wisdom.
