WB7- Is so good at this stuff it makes me wonder if he has time for a day job, or if he's at work, but just a slacker like many of us and goofing off while he makes these entertaining submissions.
I'll be honest with you, I've changed paths in life. I love doing this. This is the first time in my life I can really say that about something that I am doing (putting aside recreation and hobbies).
I've spent a great deal of time building up street cred as an "artistic polemicist." I've done many things without asking for any thing in return. Earlier today I was thinking, humbly, how cool it is that millions have viewed my work. In my previous professional endeavors, if millions started reading and reviewing my written work, it could only mean something somehow got fucked up big time (take Facebook and JPM as theoretical examples). Fortunately, that never happened on my watch, and I've been in potential mine fields of trouble.
Finally, being part Asian, I am a true believer in the principle of good karma. If and when the time comes for me to announce a road trip, I know I will meet plenty of good old friends whom I have never met in person.
You're welcome in the Netherlands. I am situated some 2km from Amsterdam Central Station, well my company's premises are anyway. I hide a bedroom upstairs from my employees and keep a spare car there as well.
When coming thru (or even near) Virginia you are welcome to share the dog house with me. Mrs. Cog insists. :>)
Actually Mrs. Cog owns several of your t-shirts (and mugs)................shirts I'm always trying to get her out of........with reasonably good success I might add.
Yes dear. I'll get off the damn computer soon. I promise.
My kids class is actually going on a trip to greece/southern europe in about 3 weeks time. I warned of the timing of this trip last summer when ZH was rightly focused on all of this ponzi economics. My daughter will not be going on this excursion. Totally not worth the risk. WB7 et al have been keeping my eyelids peeled/pinned to my forehead for the last year. For that I am both angry (due to lack of sleep) and grateful (due to current ability to sleep well).
If you stay out of the big cities, which always have street crime in a down turn, I'm sure it's safe as ever. Athens no, but any of the Isles yes. Those poor island people have to suffer through it and it really has little to do with them, relatively speaking.
Billy B., - great pic. This is the genre that I based my ZH moniker on.
I have worked for investment banks, I have met with central banks, I have worked for hedge funds.....so you know that selcting my ZH moniker was not difficult.

I'll leave it at that.;-)
Zurich welcomes you!
Well I hope you can make a good living out of your prolific creativity.
Tnx, I'm being patient and I don't have unrealistic expectations.
Thanks for that bit of bio ... I like it very much.
I'll arrange the art exhibition and a wee shop selling posters and calendars in NZ!!!
I have to make a note of that as well ;-)
William: I am in the states until June of next year, but my permanent residence is Jamaica; outskirts of Negril to be exact.

William, are you still in Hong Kong? If so lets meet for a pint one night, would be good to meet you.
@williambanzai7
The good news is a cup of Top Ramen will get you a great hooker for the evening coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
Bullish on Top Ramen.
A couple cases of vodka, and some canned goods will make your day from an investment stand point.
Better yet, a container load of AK's will set you up with your own little kingdom. Bullish on Top Ramen and AK's.
Much to my chagrin. Ordinary people are gonna get crushed by the POTB, AGAIN.
Deja Vu. For the 347,000 th time this life time.
Dude, you must be me in a parallel universe. I just bought 2 cases of ramen today (always try to get my wife to
purchase a couple cases). They'll last for 10 years, easy, they're not that bad tasting (a little high on the sodium,
though), and they only run .20 cents apiece. I could easily last 6 months on my ramen supply alone.
The AK goes without saying.
If you don't dump in the entire flavor packet, the sodium level isn't quite so high.

...let's say you are 67 years old & have already lived 24,455 days.
"Deja Vu. For the 347,000 th time this life time. "
...that would mean that you are having around 14 Deja Vu(s) per day. ;-)
Wb7- Are there any deer in Europe?
hundreds all along the autoroutes you see them. Drive down the A71 which goes thru the middle of France; by the dozen.
I never saw any, but I did see a wild boar ;-)
Reindeer in northern Europe, and Helodere almost all over
Yes, I did see reindeer in Finland. But domesticated.
Add in Sweden in your notebook. If the road takes you this way, it would be a pleasure to have you as my guest!
( that's the least I can do as a gratitude for all the coffee I've spitted on my PC thanks to you :)

Mr Banzai7;
You are a creative, intelligent, compassionate human being.
For that I thank you, it reinforces my faith in some of humanity. :)
No charge for the comment. :)
Tnx very much.
Mom will like that when she reads it ;-)
ur mom did a great job!
the fact that u can bring tears of laughter amid this clusterhose of biblical preportions is proof of her investment in you!
That Merkel bomb is a very dirty bomb.
I don't want to be nearby when it goes off.
Scheisse!
It's amazing how the fear card is always at the top of the deck.
the fear card is always used by those who haven't a sound argument (ie. are lying)
great work B :)
Yeesh, who makes this sort of imagery?
Someone pass the meds...
fuck........good one
Great, but wheres the bagman.
WB - You truly captured Van Rompuy - although I believe you may owe Bozo the Clown an apology! - Great Job!
