MaY YoU LiVe In InTeReSTiNG TiMES...
"May you live in interesting times", is reputed to be an ancient Chinese proverb and curse. I can construct an argument that living in interesting times can be a bad thing or a good thing, after all, there is another well known proverb that says:
"Change is opportunity."
One thing's for sure, we certainly do live in interesting times don't we?
Leave it to Banzai7 to show you a few reasons why...
REASON NO 1: EUROPE
One Banzai7 operative sent a hilarious message today: "My house is at Circle Jerkos"!
ROFLOL!!!!!
REASON NO 2: FACEBOOK
Facebook is fubar we're told
Their stock is not one you should hold
A sign of the times
Of structural crimes
As smart money clings to their gold
The Limerick King
Mark is enjoying a smoke
Not caring his stock is a joke
Mark is now rich
A snide spoiled bitch
While public investors are broke
The Limerick King
Facebook was loaded with gas
To lure in the lemmings en masse
The hopium high
Led sheeple to buy
When will Kleptocracy pass?
The Limerick King
Users of Facebook were quiet
Till Klepocrats told us to buy it
So now bring a friend
This shit has to end
We're forming the first Facebook riot
The Limerick King
.
REASON NO 3: JP MORONS
Jamie is squeezing one out
His future is surely in doubt
Despite what we heard
His bank is a turd
And soon it will suffer a rout
The Limerick King
REASON NO 4: THE CRONY RASCALS
These rascals have stolen our gold
Most of our wealth they now hold
Barackwheat & Porky
May look young & dorky
But games that they play are quite old
The Limerick King
Just remember one thing as we live through these interesting times together:
"Initiative come to thems that wait."--From A Clockwork Orange

Took me some time travelling along the Athens Debt Line, and savouring each of the great pieces from WB7, Much to contemplate and consider, after the first surface scan. Thank you. You take us dancing close to the edge.
ROFL. "Looks like a Ponzi, Smells like Fish" is my fav, but I am a cat person. :-) Thanks for that one WB7! All of these were great.
And thanks Limerick King for getting to the heart of the matter in a minimum number of words. I'm in awe of your powers of succinctness (if there is such a word). I am a big admirer of saying more with less, although I tend not towards limericks as much as a sort of zen poetry, for lack of a better term.
I don't even really like my own cats, but that cat with the tie I think I could hang out with him we could do a few shots.
If anyone has a couple of hours to spare, then this: http://www.forbiddenknowledgetv.com/videos/indigenousnative-americanfirst-nations/america-before-columbus.html
Times have been very interesting - as regards the Americas - for 500 years.
As regards our species for about 10,000 years: are we a POX on this planet?
On the one hand Europe exported horses, cattle, small pox and so on to the Americas ... on the other hand? Well watch and see. Then maybe think.
Descartes was no fool with, "I think, therefore I am." (Cogito ergo sum).
If more people had actually thought about the events of 9/11, then no current war would be possible.
Hey WB, why don't you do a deconstruction of 9/11 based around this: http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/bbc_wtc7_videos.html?q=bbc_wtc7_videos.html
You have the visual skills to debunk everything, all I can do is offer feeds.
Interesting that "thumbs down" came in minutes.
I venture to say that no one bothered to look at my links, which take hours to cogitate on, if not years.
Quick fix is the order of the day, though the objects of ridicule are no different from the idiots who thought they ruled the world 100, 500, 2,000 years ago.
Want an example? Well Alexander who imagined that he could conquer the world, but who died in ignomy in what is now Afghanistan.
Think.
Hey WB7,
Excellent work. Can you please let me know who the female musician is and what kind of guitar she has strapped on? Thanks!
I actually don't know. I'll do a reverse image search.
Holy shit, I just read on Bloomberg that James Crown, who heads the risk committee of JPM's Board is qualified because he served on the Board of sausage maker Sara Lee.
See what I mean about no shortage of material in the news!
does that mean jpm's hedges consist of lips and arses?
Maybe JPM sells financial sausages
To be fair, they bake cakes too, and thats risky business. Think of the childern Banzi, the children!
The cheese cakes being my favorites...
If I ever saw Zuckerberg in person I don't think I could resist the urge to punch him in the face. I think I'd be able to put enough in that it would go clean through.
He just has one of those obnoxious faces that demands to be hit every single time it is shown. Maybe that's why he always wears hoodies.
Mark Zuckerberg did not price his company. He developed a product that is used by nine hundred million networkers. Separate the product developer from the ponzi hype bank placement.
...and the German guards in the camps were just following orders.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-23/morgan-stanley-goldman-sachs-sued-over-facebook-ipo.html
Now anyone who bought into the Facebook IPO is a moron for doing so because it was obvious (to many/most) that it was going to be a shakedown. But that doesn't detract from the fact that Facebook was overvalue, those in on the deal knew it, they changed the numbers mid-roadshow and only informed their buddies.
Zuckerberg is the CEO and cannot go "oh, I didn't know about this.". When you're CEO you're head is on the block. That's why you have that title, salary and position. And to claim ignorance during the largest IPO in history is just complete and utter bollocks.
String him up. Along with the others.
Backpfeifengesicht is the word your looking for. You can thank ze germans
Never laughed so much in my life! My strategis to read and watch all the depressing stuff such as Bill Black's interview and Jovanovich and listen to Teri Buhl on Keiser, then switch over to Visual combat to cheer me up which it never fails to do. I spent most of my laughing time on the Greek underground and ended up in Pappy's diner. I'm supposed to be working!
I get scared from time to time but you are a constant reminder that life is a dream and we should not take ourselves too seriously. Many, many thanks. (Again)
There are a few in this series that deserve a separate post, but it's Thursday and I decided to carpet bomb the roaches ;-)
The Merkel/new French guy hermaphrodite thing was really gross. Turned my stomach, in fact. Do you have more?
I found a treasure trove of vintage illustration and that is just the first.
I thought Max Keiser was a vegan!
Maybe so, but he also likes roasting Wall Street weenies ;-)

Suckerberg: I've got a pain in me gulliver.
Years after I saw the movie I read the book and watched the movie again, which was a refreshing exercise. Kubrik was an animal. Everything he did was insanely choreographed.
He really understood the idea of viewer trance.
Heh (for those who don't know, "gulliver" is a term used in A Clockwork Orange" for head.)

Perhaps you can use it in the futre...it's from a classic film. I enjoy your work.
Nice one, tnx
Hmm - Pop Fiction. Is it me or are the eyes bloodshot and the canines exaggerated a smidge?
Classic Banzai. Thanks for the laughs.
#5: manufactured terror
http://www.rockcitynews.com/photos6/antibushwar4/images/cheney-terror.jpg
"You know, Mr. O'Bama, if I hadn't been very rich, I might have been a really great man."
-- Charles Foster Bain, "Citizen Bain."
Another Palme d'Or suite of caricatures, WB7. Outstanding.
Life immigrates art
Not bad, but to make it perfect you have to get the stock into his left hand and lean the barrel on his shoulder. No one holds a rifle that way, at least not me.
btw if you're still watching replies to this wb7, when I wrote "#5: manufactured terror" even though I posted a link to a satirical photo I was thinking more along these lines:
Phony Terrorism Through The Eyes of One of Ushttp://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/05/24/phony-terrorism-through-the-eyes...
"No one holds a rifle that way, at least not me."
Maybe that's why his friend took one to the face on that hunting trip.
That was a real kick and good for laughs and lashings of the old ultraviolent.
Bravo WB7! Viddy well done little brother...
One day yer gonna' look like me pretty boy;) Heheh.
(btw, the slang in Clockwork is derived from Russian...far more of it in the book than in the movie...and "viddy" was derived from a Russian word meaning "to see" which is spelled in English translations as "vidyet". So "viddy" is not used as "very" in the movie/book but as "see". When Alex says "viddy well" he's saying "Watch closely". Not to be petty or anything just FYI since you seem to be a fan. You may like this: http://soomka.com/nadsat.html)
And yes, VERY well done WB. Best yet IMHO.
Debt metro a classic
Thunderball!!! Has anybody ever realized that Mister Bond has quite a lucky streak? I don`t recall that he ever lost a game.
banzai. when one sees true talent that comes so freely to you as it does, I sure hope you make a living somehow with your art. Autographed originals some day when the country returns to sanity may be housed at the Smithsonian.
