I know when I got back home from nam, my old man decided I needed to move out on the plains about 50 miles with nothing but a horse and old beat up pickup to get around in. He knew what I was suffering from and got me away from people for a summer. Riding 25 miles a day on my old buckskin finally got my head alittle better arraigned, as well as the only company I had were too old WW 2 vet that served in the south Pacific.
We drank a lot of whiskey, abused a lot of livestock ate steak allthree meals while we told each other some of our darkest secrets of what we had done, was a good therapy summer, a lot of guys need something like that now comming back from Iraq, but all they have is iphones, long lines at the VA and terrible TV.
Those old cowboys are all dead now, but still remember how we helped each other, some of the stuff I heard from them was the first time they had talked about it. Their stories were some of the most brutal things I have ever heard!

I said is it one of yours? He double took a look and said 'i'll look into it'....never heard from them. So after two days on the phone to find out who is trying to drive me nuts, I am told by someone at the airport that it is a NOAA plane and the are studing seaweed!!!!! Seaweed, what fucking seaweed?????? it flew over the road and the trees each day, what fucking seaweeks grows there? Moss maybe, but seaweed.....maybe he meant dickweed. Maybe he thought I had a low IQ and I would believe him.
I can not imagine these damn things flying all over the world and not have the folks on the ground hate us. Maybe that is the goal.
