CIA Head Sworn In On Draft Constitution WITHOUT Bill of Rights

The government has absolutely shred the Bill of Rights in the last decade or so.

New CIA boss John Brennan endorses torture, assassination of unidentified strangers (including Americans) without due process, and spying on all Americans.

As such, it is fitting that Mr. Brennan specially requested that he be sworn in on a draft of the Constitution lacking the Bill of Rights.

A draft which doesn’t even begin with the famous preamble we all know and love:

We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America ....

But rather starts with:

We the People of the States of New-Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations, Connecticut, New-York, New-Jersey, Pennslyvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North-Carolina, South-Carolina and Georgia, do ordain, declare and establish the following Constitution for the Government of Ourselves and our Posterity….

That has a very different tone from the final version of the Constitution.

Here’s the actual version Brennan swore in on, courtesy of the National Archives (click any image for larger view):

The handwriting is that of George Washington.

Washington was a brave leader (but a terrible general). More importantly, he was one man … and the whole idea of the Bill of Rights is that the people have inalienable rights – e.g. no deprivation of life, liberty or property without due process of law – which cannot be taken away by any leader … including the president or the head of the CIA.

There be the catholics of Crusader ire, AYatollahs of Shia Islam, the jesuits of new counter reform; all defending God's word...now we have the constitutionalists of American truth, like it be embaumed like Chavez or Lenin, enshrined for eternity. 

Hey, its not the gospel... and it can be changed, a constitution, if it doesn't fit the human foot anymore...Even GWB said it was just a piece of paper.

What he didn't say or do was have it amended in OPEN debate; if he felt it needed change.

That's democracy...and it was not followed when he decreed Patriot act.

The Constitution was a coup d'tat over the Articles of Confederation, but like both, they are instruments of the State. Therefore, they are all destined to become the foundation for a society based on slavery- and democracy will never change that. Just as all religions are bastions of slavery as well- all trading control for false security, all believed by the democratic passions that make up the electorate. Why do you think the Elites like democracy? 

Votes are the corporal form of ignorance, for that is how most are cast. 

Liberty is absolutely terrifying to the uninitiated, but it is the opposite of slavery and control. As long as you have law, you have the means to shift power and influence to slavery and control. As long as you control information (mass media) you have the means to justify your actions. As long as you have democracy, you have the legitimization of slavery from the slaves themselves.

While I think it is perfectly fine for a person to CHOOSE to be a slave, it should not be requisite for everyone else, just because they were capable of being fooled.

Not enough. All it would require is a 20% vote in a national election, to discredit the whole process (we'll get there). NOT voting is the best vote of all.

Confuse and conquer. That is how foreign influence seeks to ruin the Republic which is not a democracy, as you rightly say.

Democracy is a form of extremism; power without responsibility. It works until politicians figure out how to bribe voters with their own money, and voters figure out how to game each other.

A Republic only works if individuals bear responsibility for their community.Give more than they take, whether that is by money or volunteer work.

No second passports, dual citizenship.  No second language. One for all, all for one...or go away to some place else.

Considering how much 'americans' have taken since their inception, it should close any argumentation over a supposed period of a functional republic.

'Americans' are takers. 'Americans' are thieves at heart. Theft is essential in 'americanism'.

At the beginning of the 20th century, 'american' felt the consequences of the end of indian land transfer. They ran out of land to steal. It had the consequences it had on the world scale.
But the shortage was only local, limited to the 'american' geographical area. There were ways out, in the surrounding world.

Current crisis has that different 'americans' are running out of things to take, to steal on the global scale.

For some time, they sold the idea that their ingenuosity would allow them to find escape in space but the harsh reality is here: the 'american' pionneering the new frontier space program is a grand fiasco.

'Americans' are trapped on Earth and there is less and less things to steal on the global scale.

No way out. No place to hide. No place to run.

You are correct in only one point. Exposing of 'americans' by their own creates the resources they need so that all claims can be ignored.

The mecca of China has a hold let us not forget on the 'american' values busy integrating such into daily life. Murder tolerance good to go.

Iran's gambit takes center stage at the moment yet this will be thought of as childs-play by 'citizens' of Iran until such time as Israel decides Iran's blobbing-up no longer to be tolerated. 'Americans' will then jump out the window of opportunity to inaugurate same by mandate.

One of the key components of maintaining the status quo is maintaining its legitimacy.  Failure to maintain legitimacy makes it possible for counter parties to claim legitimacy there by destabilizing the system.   Mr. Brennan in an effort to be coy has shredded the legitimacy of his appointment.  He has not been legally sworn in, therefore, he is not legally the director.  Clearly this administration does not think that anyone is paying attention.  They assume that none of this matters.

Quibbling - a term at USMA (West Point) defining a situation whereby a cadet is technically telling the truth, using semantics or twisted logic in response to a question to avoid a direct answer that would be a lie in response to the INTENT of the question asked.   It is still considered to be a LIE - a violation of the Honor Code.

Shame that Article 6, section 9 did not survive into the current draft ... last bit about Senators being ineligible to hold other offices of the US for a period of one-year after leaving their term in the Senate would have saved us a lot of grief over the years.
