The phrase was originally ""Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, or Death".  Later they dropped the death part.

The first two are not possible. The third is okay with the meaning of fraternizing with the opposite sex. The last is the only certainty.

A week after giving two fingers to his boss ( well i thought we could ) Timmy G has moved into Jamie D's sprawling mansion. Jamie is Priming him ( to the disgust of the latino help who attends the bloodied sheets ; timmy likes it rough ) and priming him for a shoo in directorship in the global chain.
JD is in the bathroom ready to shave, he glances over at TG who's in the power shower applying morning after the night before ring cream; JD smiles and does a short inspection of his rod and twins, he's hung like one of his off balance sheet derivative portfolios and begins singing
Oh what a wonderful morning
Oh what a beautiful day
I've got a wonderful feeling
QE is wired today.

Napoleon Blownaparte was a lousy bureaucrat

who rose through the bloody and murderous ranks of the french revolution,

plundering ,raping and murdering his way through Europe,

then crowning himself Emperor of Europe, all in the Name of Liberty, Equality and Justice

until his failed 1812 invasion of Russia and Napoleons 1813 defeat by Prussian, Austrian and Russian forces

in the War of the sixth Coalition (1812-1814).

200 years later, nothing much has really changed...

the world is still being fucked over by small Napoleons in the Name of Liberty and Equality...

and most of them are anglophiles...

Napoleons robbed Europe blind and gave them worthless IOU's and Liberty-Bonds in return...

how I hate Napoleon ! almost as much as Goldman Sachs....

Goldman Sachs (Blankfein) and Bernanke are the new Napoleon's

fucking the world over (AIG CDS fraud - Greece Loan fraud etc, etc, etc)

Just like Napoleon, Bernanke and Blankfein are fucking this world over,

via vulture Hedgefunds like Goldman Sachs and Loan-sharks like the IMF.

Of course he was a narcissist with PTSD. However...

The revolution was a phenomenon of the age of enlightenment -- between the peoples of Europe and their Emperors.  You could just as easily blaim Voltaire pr Rousseau if you're looking for a fall guy.

Would you have preferred Robispiere and his familiar-sounding "committee of public safety" and his endliss guillotines?

Bonaparte benefitted from the military opportunities the revolution afforded him.  Well, he was a general afterall...  A spectacular tactician.

Later he stole power for himself and an imperfect republic instead of a kingless anarchy when the preceding power base had mostly been guillotined.

Later still he made himself Emperor.  Ooops.  That I owe to his impatience with bureaucrats.

All the while, the monarchs of the world always saw him as an embodiment of the forces that would depose them.

They wouldn't let Bonaparte show that a kingless world could work.  They were right to be frightened.

I don't understand a sentiment such as yours on Zerohedge because Bonaparte is generally hated by monarchists who resent the loss of inhereted hegemonies.

The french Revolution spelled the end of the Age of Enlightenment,

the end of Italian Renaissance and Romanticism, those golden Medici ages that

had re-discovered the lost knowlwdge of the classical age of the islamic, greek and roman ancient world.

The french Revolution destroyed all that, the Bells of Notre Dame were melted down to make cannon balls,

Monasteries and roman catholics and other religions were plundered of all their wealth, to find their way

into Napoleon Bonaparte's greedy hands, he murdered and enslaved whole nations under the promise of "revolution".

Napoleon instead was no better than his comrades, RobbesPierre and the other murderous thugs of the Jacobin Club,

the home of leftwing radicals and criminals who were no more than thiefs and terrorists.

Napoleon was attacking other nations, like Germany, forbade all religion, confiscated all wealth

and imposed his reign of terror onto the whole of Europe.

This was the end of the age of enlightenment, the age of great learing that had re-discovered the ancient classical age,

this re-discovery of ancient classicism during the renaissance and later "the age of enlightenment" was killed off by Napoleon,

Instead a new "dark age" began in Europe, a dark age of wars, Industrielisation , enslavement of People in factories,

and exploitation of the masses by the few, with Napoleon crowning himself Emperor, he wanted to be like

the great first Emperor Charlemagne, King of the Franks from 768, the King of Italy from 774,

the first Holy Roman Emperor, and the first emperor in western Europe since the collapse of the Western Roman Empire three centuries earlier.

If you think that Napoleon was such a great Genius, I suggest that you read up on some history ,rather than listen to those neo-con revisionists

out of England and France, who are trying the same deception and exploitation under the name of liberty, equality and Justice in todays world.

And yes, I am a Monarchist.

I don't believe that there has ever been any other form of Government.

Sure, they call themselves democratic or even socialists, but in the end they are all just Monarchists,

because the power is with those who got the wealth and the Money.

Look at the USA today.

To be elected President, you need to come up with big money... about 1 billion.

but then you are just President of North America.

The Emperors and Kings of America are those who got the Money.

They run Wall-street and the world-Markets, they give Loans to Countries like Greece,

to get them into the European Union, to corrupt the System, because what they want

is total Power over all world markets.

The world is ruled by Monarchies, those People with enough wealth to wield the most power.

Revolutions, dis-unity and divisions are tools by those in Power to rule the divided.

Look at the world around you, we live in a new Age of Darkness and Ignorance where

no-one believes anything anymore.

We are ruled by thugs, liars and thiefes, the dregs of the remands of Napoleons french revolution.

I am German and we Germans hate Napoleon, because he came across the Rhein, and

in the name of liberty and a better future, robbed all the people, destroyed their wealth and culture,

and instead installed a despot regime that exploited and raped and murdered a bloody path across Europe.

Make no mistake, Napoleon is hated in mainland Europe, because this is what led up to the 1914-18 first world-war.

You got to read history and see the great picture, not just what anglophiles talk about.

North-America was basically founded during the french revolution, it is little more than 200 years old.

You had a civil war there, to win independance, but today America is more class-divided and more of a Monarchy

than the holy Roman Empire, under Charlamagne (2 April 742 – 28 January 814) ever was.

Charlemagne was a true Emperor and also many tried, no-one has even come close.

Since then ,the world is ruled by thiefes , murderers and liars, the bloody remands of the french revolution,

with people enslaved by bureaucracy and the totalitarian regimes administrations,

and all revolutions have been futile, because a new despot will always raise to power.

Therefore I declare, that the only government in place has always been a Monarchy,

both in the human and animal world of existence on this planet.

Of course you can say otherwise and advertise your indoctrinated ignorance

to all your fellow comrades here on Zero Hedge.

But eventually you will have to realize the truth.

the world is full of thiefs and crooks and prostitudes (both genders)

and all want to be Kings and Emperors, while the real Powers are with those

who keep them enslaved and divided.

That's why ultimate power is with the 1% while 99% of you,

(including all neo-cons , communists and so-called democratic socialists )

the dregs and legacy of the french revolution...

those fools will always remain slaves under some despot,

who has megalomaniacal dreams of being Monarch or King.

So read up on you History and use your brain to think a little...

that might open your eyes to what's really going on!

It was either God or Sideshow BobBen who informed me that it was most improper for Governments by but not for the People to subsidise Banks ( aka Private Equity, Hedgefunds, Institutional Shareholders ) who hid losses on their books in order to pay themselves bonuses and/ or inflate their share price! This is where we are at 5 years down the road!

And you just know that Draghi and Lagarde and the rest of the ECB and IMF crooks were consulting with Bernanke and making sure he would give them enough U.S. taxpayer dollars in swaps and back-door liquidity to keep their thieving skullduggery rolling.

Nod-nod, wink-wink; exhaustive talks, so much work stealing other people's money - don't 'cha know.

Ben will probably be out 'ere long and will let the next sap to fill his shoes point the expropriation revolver at U.S. depositors.

Hi Paul,

You might have missed this question the last 3 times I asked it, so here we go for try number 4 (and yes, I will continue to increment the numbers until you answer the question):

If growth is defined in monetary terms and money is debt (interest bearing), please explain how exponential growth of debt is sustainable into eternity.

If money (debt) exponential growth is not sustainable into eternity, then WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE EXPONENTIAL MONEY (DEBT) GROWTH FAILS?

TIA...
