my 90 plus mom just got a letter from her CU that her account is being reclassified as "Unclaimed Property" and that it will go to the state of California (for safekeeping) if she doesn't respond in writing. The account has been inactive (by their definition) for two years. Apparently calling to check on CD rates, and such doesn't qualify as contact. The account is a Trust Account, still its nice to know someone in Sacramento is looking after her (money).

The account has been inactive due to the fact that Bernanke does not pay any interest.

Cali is getting crazy on cash collection. At least she got a letter, next time it will be automatic, and 6-12 months to get it back. Also, they are happy to sell you stocks ASAP, so they can use the cash for float. All this to keep other businesses from using your money as operating capital, which the state needs first. Note that they do not pay interest on funds held, which is VERY helpful for such a state as Cali. Cue the IUO's...................

Lust after 90 year woman is perversion. California is obsene, epitomization of Amerikan mortal decadence.

Can see from the above that William Banzai is up-to-date on top of things, with the new Eurogroup head, Dutch-boy Diesel-Bomb Jeroen Dijsselbloem, already included among the leading euro-crats of destruction
