The 300 Spartans who dies at Thermopylae might have died unnecessarily but at least there were principles and reputations involved.
Can anyone reading this tell me the last time they saw a government enact and see through any principled legislation, the last time they actually saw them track down and punish a wall Street crook, the last time they actually jailed one of their own, the last time any politician sent a son or grandson to fight in Iraq or Afghanistan and the last time they listned to a Federal Reserve prediction about the economy that actually came true?
Thank you banzaisan! I especially loved the Tora Tora Tora spoof and the wonderfully 'shopped Shinizo Ben fortune cookie! Also 1000 thanks for not spoofing on any Bruce Lee stuff (not that that's Japanese related but all orientals without breast implants look the same to us western low brows.....)
"Not only would the banking cartels be able to shut down all banking computers (and simultaneously siphon the remaining money in their customer’s accounts), but also use this fake [media-publicized Arab] cyber-attack to enrage the American public against Iran, and justify their highly anticipated [desired] military strike. By blaming Iran, the technocrats could initiate the shutdown of all domestic banking computer systems in order to “purge” the virus and reconfigure their systems. However this would be a false flag [attack], meant to pacify the public to avert mass panic. While the general public would fall for the cover story, the banking cartels would simply electronically transfer all customer funds [our savings deposits] from private checking accounts out to off-shore banks where they could not be touched, and cover their tracks. The American public, being told that Iran was to blame [for the loss of their savings], might not riot in the streets, as we have seen in European countries of late. There would be total support for the war against Iran if this scheme could be pulled off. The technocrats could not only bankrupt America [by stealing our money], but also simultaneously stave off a social display [of anti-banker riots], and the breakdown of society, because the Iranians would take the blame. The plan is perfect. We must not be fooled. We can see the recent riots in Spain as a barometer as to how we can take this country back from the banking cartels."

But I think there is too much group-think Japan-bashing on ZeroHedge
Which might well be wrong again, like so many endless people have lost their shirts over the years predicting Japan's demise ... including Kyle Bass losing millions waiting for his big Japanese 'implosion'
In fact, the policies of Japan might work ... and we should hope and pray that they do
There is a reasonable - a quite reasonable - argument that Japan's current policies may well succeed, as similar policies succeeded in the early 1930s
The large-scale QE is fighting an even bigger credit contraction ... and besides, it is a roll of the dice in a situation where the Japanese have little to lose by trying
The reasons why Abenomics might work, and why he should absolutely continue to try to do what he is doing, are well-covered by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard today:
I'm certainly not a Japan basher, although I am always willing and able to harpoon that part of my heritage when necessary. Nevertheless, I don't think all the "Japanese" can be blamed for the actions of the Japanese contingent of the global "worms." And technically speaking, the US started this latest ink splattering fiasco.
I think ZH is an equal opportunity basher. That is part of the Fight Club ethos.
Luckily, I have not lost my shirt on Japan.
As for their policy of following the que of rest of the world by jumping up on the table and sticking their dick in the mash potatoes, why the fuck not.
It hastens the great money printing disaster of the new millenium.
Delusional. Japan's plan has no chance of working in the long run. Cannot mathmatically grow your way out of 23x debt to revenues by inflating without hyperinflation and that's before you consider the demographic realities. Why do some people think that even though spending your way out of debt has NEVER worked in the history of mankind that this time will be different? Check that: one thing COULD save Japan.....a fountain of youth that reverses their aging population. Short of that, they are terminal and will default. It's nothing to cheer about or take comfort in, but their mass deleveraging is coming. Some short term infusion may slow the metastis (sp) but it doesn't change the prognosis.
BTW, I doubt Bass has lost any money betting against Japan....all he has done is short the Yen....i'm sure he is profiting quite nicely
Ya know, there's an old cracka joke that go's along with that.
A Florida boy dropped a quarter down the hole in an out-house one day. He got done with his business, stood up, tugged his pants up, pulled out his wallet, took out a crisp one dollar bill, wadded it up and threw it down the shit-hole just as his younger brother opened the door.
"Why the hell did you do that?"...he says.
The older brother says..."If I'm gonna get shit all over me I'm gonna make it worth the effort." ;-)

dont post garbage from susanne posel here, she is a worthless alarmist, everything is a false flag, everything is a vast conspiracy to her.
if you're going to post that sort of nonsense at least go with alex jones, he is more entertaining.
Considering what the ZOG has done and gotten away with already, anything is possible.
Thank you for the Friday laughs William, from the ridiculous to sublime - fantastic!
An idea for future consideration (if you haven't done it already) - Ben Bernanke as Fred MacMurray, the Nutty Professor; the ivory tower dunce.
Ye FRB Kabuki was trippy dude.

Yeah, the past 20 years have been a watershed...
Real estate might be the only shelter from Japanese hyperinflation.
But even property faces demographic headwinds, with a shrinking population.
Who ya gonna call?
Solution: more powdered tiger-bone.
OK, yeah, this full on Keynesian program has been entered before.
And it's shown good initial results before.
Show me a country where massively reflationary has been exited successfully.
And hyperinflation and global war don't count as "successful exits".
