Better than hilarious. High Art at it's finest. Years from now people could look at this hanging somwhere and go, "Yep". YOu have outdone yourself sir.
Absolutely hilarious! I especially enjoyed the 'Titanic Captained by PHD Buffoon'
WB7
When are you publishing a collection of your offerings. Perhaps on kindle so that we can carry them around on an I Pad.
All excellent but today superb.
Hi WB7!!! Here is you a specially written Irish Poem for this post:
A Sinking Feeling
There once was a liner . . . Titanic.
Whose Captain was just a tad . . . manic.
He ordered a Scotch,
On the rocks, while on watch,
OMG!!! Too much ice!!! Time to PANIC!!!
Squeeky Fromm, Girl Reporter
Very nice. Too much ice indeed.
BOHICA! The Elites projecting their own behaviors upon us again.
three percenter, Bill?
If so, welcome
This set was totally outstanding and hilarious! Thank you once again WB7 and LK
William, that binary Microsoft Image is just brilliant.
the way the water looks makes it look totally surreal.
all the details of the reflections etc, that is so difficult to do.
- can I ask you how you got that water to look that way?
brilliant work, WB7
The way to do water reflections is to select the surface water then past it over the object then adjust opacity, color brightness etc.
You can to this several times if necessary.
That is how I got Jamie the whale half submerged.
thanks for that info, William -
you make it sound so easy, but as everyone who does work
in digital imaging knows, these applications are just tools...
it takes a good artist to get the desired result.
you are a true master, William - a fine Illustrator and Artist.
I have looked through some of your other work on flicker
and there is some great stuff. I like the Japanese influence very much
but also the classical style influences or the different takes on period pop art etc.
really very interesting. I find your Art and the various styles really much more interesting than
what's happening in the financial markets, or the political story,
although that provides the subject matter for the Art.
Your Pictures speak much more than 1000's of words and it becomes clear,
how important Art Images really are in our daily life,
as opposed to advertising, propaganda or spin.
thanks again for explaining the tech angle of how you did the water.
I very much appreciate your great art William,
thank you very much,
wr;)
Tnx w.r,,
I love it when all of the elements I play with come together aesthetically and substantively. I know it's a strange mix sometimes, but it is always intentional. There is always a message of some kind and I am constantly experimenting and pushing myself.
History will reveal, the odd coincidences in the ability of the modern day players fitting in perfectly with ancient scenes of historical happenings.
Trigger. Was that the name of the Lone Rangers Horse?

Can I get a poster of Captain Ben Smith and his crew. So funny.
100 years ago you would have had leading publications printing your work.

That's the 'centerpiece' of your "Titanic" collection. #7
Surface Pro + Windows V8 + Intel turbo under the hood -- Microsoft's Edsel.
They shoulda offered a 2-tone convertible ... and a free shoeshine.
LOL!
Steve Ballmer gets a life jacket?
Why Microsoft isn't offering Windows 8 for $29 I don't know; they poorly copy Mac O.S. icon based interaction, alienate decades long users of Windows, but maintain their overpriced pricing structure.
DUH!
That's OK, he freezes to death and takes his stupid Win 8 gizmo to the bottom of the sea.
Pick the second one.
Tough day for a lot of people,
but you make it almost bearable.
Thanx William
It is very overwhelming. I know that neighborhood pretty well. I had some fun there with my kids which really makes it hit home.
had my differences with some of your ideas. but i will say you have changed my mind about your overall thesis. best of luck WB7...
Thank you very much.
Commonalities will always overpower differences if we put our minds to it.
Almost.
Hilaarious post WB7
Would you be so kind as to placing me behind the bernank. Also, I'd like to be naked.
Gracias Senor Banzai.
El Luchador
I like.
Too funny to be true... LOL
Excellent work, WB7!

Sometimes when i can be bothered to wake up in the morning my first thought is, is it too early for a " large double " . Then i close my eyes and pretend i'm in australia 8 hours ahead. We had a deep deep discussion at the AA meeting last tuesday debating wether or not Bernanke resides in a similar parallel universe!
Not sure if it's the cynical contempt these small pockets of despots who control our existence have bestowed upon us Or our own lack of backbone to end this madness swiftly that hurts more.
as a "Friend of Bills" I can appreciate the discussion of Bernanke in an A.A. meeting. God I wish I had been there.
Arg.......the 4th stack was my pile of silver
Take heart my friend. When all the fiat collapses gold and silver will rule!
First smile today, Bernanko in that silly hat. What a dour little weasel he truly is.
Thanks and a big slice o raisin pie to Billy Banzai!
And a cold beer! Kudos W7!
and sink in ocean... 2.
I can't make up my mind which of these is to be my portfoio "Titanic" work.
William, it is a hard choice, very hard. The one to the last with Obama behind the iceberg, Captian Ben and the comment "you are here" is the most prophetic to the common man, per my survey with the local red neck farmers, cowboys that frequented my house today for coffee and refreshments.
The lifeboat also got a good laugh also, and had the most positive response, as the "you are here" had to be pointed out.
You must remember that most of these guys do not recognize Jamie and croud and for sure are clueless on the European croud.
These guys are in the food production sector, have just completed "calving" their cows, with hundreds of small calves bouncing around and warm weather they are ready to let a little steam off since I got back into the area from Colorado. They had to get caught up on the recent developements out there and check out the picture of the boys out their "new" crop "program" samples.
The recent developements in gold and comodities do not effect these guys, they know what real gambling is, raising cattle in the curve ball world mother nature can throw.
Very good work, some of your best! It is all good, but this stuff may be prophetic beyond comprehension! Carry on the combat!
Stud Duck is right. The Shepard Fairey image of Obama has become iconic, and a fair percentage of Americans will recognize their true ruler, Bernanke.
Once you get into the minor hoodlum element such as Blankfein and Dimon, most folks rightly neither know nor care who the fuck they are. I mean, would any of us recognize bank presidents of the 1970s today?
Corporate nobodies fade fast. But images of presidents endure, and Bernanke may be remembered as the final fuckup who brought the whole system crashing down.
I am strapped today for obvious reasons, but the Timmah print will stand the test of time, yet indicate that its not just crony capitolism that defines this era, but crony capitalism. Thanks again Sir.
