Don't worry, that's not actually Boston.

In Boston, it's a group of white racist hicks, who think they live in an urban area.  If you're not white and you see a group of whitey looking Irish guys, cross the street.

I lived there for 6 miserable months.

Bernanke is doing, exactly, what the Federal Reserve was designed for:

1. Save the banks

2. Monetize the Government's debt.

NOTHING ELSE.

i would like to give you one red click for every time you're wrong, just assuming the primary five or six mandates that are stated in Fed policy, such as provide stability to the markets, protect the currency (no laughs please) as well as the authority and discretion to buy assets, domestic and foreign to provide liquidity. you may not like what they do, or how they do it, but this is their role in the economy. the fed head is appointed by the president and fed answers to congress. they all know whats going on as well. because i know what they do i can walk at the front of the parade to abolish them, but don't make the mistake of thinking what they do isn't legal and sanctioned, and probably 99% defined by their charter. end of rant.

The primary reason behind the inflation of the 70's was the simple little fact there was hardly any private debt to begin with.

Therefore, the scale begins already biased to the inflationary side due to the lack of private debt, which resulted in 'print a little, inflate, then becomes, holy shit, what the fuck have we done?'

There is not a snowballs chance in hell inflation can begin to take hold when the private debt to income ratio in this country is well over _____________%.

Im gonna let Paul Krugman bring that number out for us, that is, if he can do math..

And that my friends proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, deflation is, was, and always will be, the most powerful financial force.   Why? You ask??

Because it is simply the beginning, and the end.

BWHAHAHAHA.

I suggest you study some countries that have had massive inflation.

The rules change, that's all.

Hyperinflation is a political event, not an economic one.  Our massive inflation will happen when foreign creditors dump the dollar, not when too many dollars are created.

What will happen is the dollars in the United States will continue to buy the same amount of property, the same amount of anything produced here in fact, which is damned little.  Wages won't go up during this time.  Imports will become very expensive.

We'll become an export nation, VERY SLOWLY because hardly anybody knows how to make a paper bag in this country anymore.  It won't be any easier to pay off your mortgage, in fact, it might be a lot more difficult - because food, clothing, and energy will be so damned expensive.

You won't have any difficulty finding a job but you'll be working 60 hours a week at it.

You can expect welfare and other social programs to be cut, and there will be such a demand for workers, nobody will have much of any excuse to be on the dole.  In some ways, it will be good for us all.

You think the typical American has a heart.

If they are brown skinned and speak a funny sounding language, fuck 'em.

We deserve our fate.  You think Ben Bernanke is evil?  Americans by and large are evil.

Bush was the first to do this, and the fucking Republicans rallied around that asshole.  Now Obama does it, the fucking Democrats rally around that asshole.

So what's left of the country?  The outliers, us - hardly anybody.  Americans brought this upon themselves, and hey, I applaud the people ruining the country and driving 99.9% of people into despair.  Now they can enjoy what they have brought upon so many other people.  Emotionally, intellectually, morally, bankrupt people.

You might feel some sympathy for them - don't.  They've all been lectured to, they've all been told, they've brushed off all your arguments and reasoning - they brought this upon themselves.

I hate to say it, but I think I hate humanity.

It's a responsibility to know what is going on and what is being done in your name.  You are responsible for it, and nobody, nobody speaks up.  I am ashamed of what people really are and I despise them as a result.  How has the United States sunk so low, how did people become so stupid and if not stupid, so morally bankrupt?

The population at large has the exact government they deserve, a completely corrupt one.  I'm not happy to say it, but this is this shit they voted into power and support, still.

As a nation, we have brought this upon ourselves and although I'm not happy to be a part of it, I can see why.  I wish we collectively were a better people.  I wish we lived up to the myth of what the American was and I still hope that we will someday.

I downed arrowed u, then up arrowed. I do feel love for the masses that are blinded by their desires of this world. God said he would blind the eyes of those whom did not want to know truth, and would send them strong delusion. This is what we are seeing in our time, strong delusion. We should really work on loving God almighty and our nieghbors; that is what is lacking everywhere.

2Th 2:10 - And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 - And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Some people on the internet (the bastion of accuracy) did identify this guy (photographic comparison) with a known soldier (Nick Vogt) who lost both legs in Afghanistan. I have not seen any verification of this, and would not buy it without substantial more verification. One possibilty is he was particpating in the marathon (in his wheelchair), or was a spectator, and got caught in the blast. Then the news used the image without explanation.

Oh c'mon, it's not even the same guy.  If you look hard enough on the internet, you can find pics of this poor guy lying on the ground just after both his legs have been blown off.  As well, he was within just a few feet of the blonde haired girl who died as well.  You see her, with her eyes wide open, very obviously dead.  Both her legs are pinned completely behind her, she was literally blown in half.  There is one pic where you see both of them, him with his legs blown off clutching one stump, and the girl blown nearly in half.  None of this is fake, it's all very real and hellish.  Pray for these people and their families, this is horrific.

You may be right. I have seen the photos. A lot of it ended up on this thread. I will not say I hope you are right, because then for sure, a lot of innocent people were badly hurt and some killed by real criminals or worse. If it were staged, then there is a chance to get to the bottom of it and bring others to justice. Even if it were an inside job of some sort, there was a real expolsion, and maybe it got out of control. I really have little confidence in the media to bring any truth at this point, so I do question a lot of what is presented. Why were bomb drills being run at the same time as the explosion? Does that not get your suspiciion up a little?

Same with Newtown- a "simulated shooting event" at a school was taking place 45 miles away, and the normal Newtown emergency responders were there instead of Newtown, leaving the state police to respond.

http://memoryholeblog.com/2013/01/06/sandy-hook-school-massacre-timeline/

(I saw the original report, but the link is now missing, this link confirms it)

“Active shooter drill” exercise commences by Putnam County Emergency Response Team in Carmel Connecticut, 45 miles away from Newtown.  “By grim coincidence, even as the terrible events were unfolding in Newtown on Friday morning,” the Southeast Brewster-Patch reports,

the Putnam County Emergency Response Team (“ERT”) happened to be assembled for regular training in Carmel, and team members were at that very moment engaged in a mock scenario of an active-shooter in a school. The ERT is comprised of specially trained and heavily armed officers from the Sheriff’s Office and the Carmel and Kent Police Departments.  When news broke of the Newtown shooting, the Putnam County ERT commander called Newtown Police and offered to have the ERT respond to the Sandy Hook school, but that response was not needed because Connecticut police had already secured the scene.
