Boston Terror Narrative Starts Falling Apart

George Washington's picture

We have no idea whether or not the Chechen brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were the Boston terrorists.

But several parts of the official narrative are already falling apart.

Initially, the claim that they robbed a 7-11 is totally false. USA Today reported on April 19th:

There was a 7-Eleven robbery in Cambridge last night, but it had nothing to do with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.

Margaret Chabris, the director of corporate communication at 7- Eleven, says the surveillance video of the crime was not taken at a 7-Eleven and that the suspect that did rob the 7-Eleven does not look like Tamerlan or Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

"The suspect in the photos for that particular 7-Eleven robbery looks nothing like the suspects," Chabris says. "The police or someone made a mistake. Someone was confused."

***

At an earlier press conference morning, when [State Police Superintendent Timothy Alban] described the manhunt and standoff that resulted in the death of an MIT police officer, he also said that the two brothers robbed a 7-Eleven.

Moreover, the FBI initially denied ever having spoken with either of the brothers.  But CBS news notes:

The FBI admitted Friday they interviewed the now-deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev two years ago and failed to find any incriminating information about him.

Other oddities include the following:

Again, they might be guilty.  But as Glenn Greenwald notes:

The overarching principle here should be that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is entitled to a presumption of innocence until he is actually proven guilty. As so many cases have proven - from accused (but exonerated) anthrax attacker Stephen Hatfill to accused (but exonerated) Atlanta Olympic bomber Richard Jewell to dozens if not hundreds of Guantanamo detainees accused of being the "worst of the worst" but who were guilty of nothing - people who appear to be guilty based on government accusations and trials-by-media are often completely innocent. Media-presented evidence is no substitute for due process and an adversarial trial.

Indeed, the FBI said it was sure that Bruce Ivins was the anthrax killer (after falsely accusing 2 other people of being the culprits).

However, the National Academy of Science found that the FBI failed to prove its case.

Note: Media said that the door-to-door searches conducted in Watertown were voluntary.  However - whether or not you agree with the need to do so - the searches were not always exactly voluntary.

There is a farily crappy video of the night shootout somebody in a home shot through a window. You can't see the brothers but you can clearly see the cops. You hear gunfire, then "There the one in the white T-Shirt. He might have a rifle." You hear more gunfire and then that is it.

There is no wrestling anyone to the ground, just quiet. The cops then calmly walk past their cars towards the area they were shooting. They even lowered thier guns.

The video ends, which is too bad. But there is no indication of a struggle or a car taking off running over a suspect.

There were at least five squad cars on camera with more showing up every second. I counted eight officers behind cars. There were more in cars that showed up.

From this video it looks like whoever was shot wasn't moving and posed no threat.

The videos of the house to house searches are insane. People being pulled out of their homes at gunpoint with their hands up and then patted down as they are rounded up on the sidewalk with up to fifteen officers pointing automatic weapons at them.

It does not bode well for America, if they can go house to house and the people does nothing. When it comes to holocausting the people, the guns will not help defend if they are not used to defend.

The:"It does not bode well for America, if they can go house to house and the people does nothing. When it comes to holocausting the people, the guns will not help defend if they are not used to defend."

would not be wise to defend your home , would be wise to hit police hq while goons are out abusing citizens rights.

little lesson learned in long ago war.

an interesting home experiment. take a 6 quart pot with a lid. fill it with a coupla pounds of anything and put it in the school bag knapsacks the brothers carried. note the shape of the bag when the pot is placed on it's bottom to the bottom of the bag and when it is placed sideways to the bottom of the bag.  now take a look at the pictures of the brothers' back packs. there is no way either was carrying a 6 quart pot in their bags.

there are other people who had back packs big enough to carry the pots without giving away the outline of the pots. see if you can spot them in the pictures msm supplied.

You must be referring to blackwater, Craft/XE International,Academi, Monsanto.  You know, the group who carried backpacks around the finish line in Boston.

You know, the folks who work under contract for jobs the alphabet soup guys can't or won't do in-house.

Here are some various 'weight' co-efficients:

~~~ [6 quarts = 1.5 gallons]~~~
STANDARD MEASUREMENTS
- Weight of 1 US Gallon of water = approx. 8.35 lb
- Quartz sand has a specific gravity of 1.20, which means it is 1.20 times the weight of water. [just as a metric]
MATERIALS REPORTEDLY USED IN PRESSURE COOKERS
- The specific gravity of carbon steel [NAILS],is 7.8 ~~~~~~ that of lead [just by comparison] is 11.34
- CHARCOAL, which would be the main ingredient in the black power, yields roughly 32% of it's, [prior to], to gassification weight
Also ~ most standard commercial backpacks are rated to handle around 55 pounds capacity... Though this can be more or less...
One thing that puzzles me is, if Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was wounded during the initial shoot out as I believe has been reported (the guy who found him in his own boat reportedly noticed blood on the tarp) how could he have avoided detection from search dogs for as long as he did? You would think it would be the easiest thing in the world for a "blood hound" to follow his tracks, wouldn't you?
Because he managed to make it two blocks outside the search area before they closed it off. Think of a large square grid with the suspect hiding outside of it. This has been mentioned by the police but they have not gone out of their way to focus on it. Suspect it makes them look bad, but closing off a search area right after a wild shoot out can't be easy.
It was reported that the property with the boat was outside the immediate search area. K-9s are tipically kept on lead when searching. With all the LEOs running loose one or more of them would have probably been bitten if the hound(s) were let loose.
This is just one recent incident:
Yes they do. However in the midst of chaos standard police protocol does not include releasing deadly weapons (police bite trained K-9s) loose in the mix.
While I sometimes enjoy throwing turdballs at George (mostly for sport), I think he does an excellent job at summarizing the overall narrative on various subjects in a way few are doing these days. The conclusions he draws are based on the totality of information in the public domain and he ALWAYS cites his sources.
I think he also demonstrates excellent cognitive and memory skills absorbing the information, identifying discontinuities and putting it all together in a coherent manner.
George, keep it coming. You are doing just fine.
Good Job GW, the trolls really jumped on this one quick... they must be worried that this one will unravel all the way.
I think this is the clincher:
Photo of suspect climbing out of boat after being "shot in the hand, leg and neck"
There also doesn't seem to be 200+ bullet holes in the boat yet.
Perhaps they pull him out, then fire on the boat to make it sound like a huge firefight took place.
If he just shot himself in the neck, there would be blood, he would most likely be holding his throat as well.
He looks handcuffed in the photo too.
Watertown chief reported 200 rounds total from his side.  No report of anything at the boat, nor was local broadcast(s) (plural) that were gaining sound of the firefight, the pipe-bomb/grenades and the last of the pressure-cooker bomb.
I suppose blackwater were shadowing the event in their black helicopoter and dropping that shit.
... er ... there was blood, that's how the smoker/boat owner found him.
