If everybody with lots of cash pulls it from banks then Bernanke will have to work some OT. That's good. I'd like to see him work without mystifying people into thinking he actually does something other than theft. I'd really like to see him in a striped shirt swinging a sledge hammer.

the legal definition of theft is an intent to deprive the owner of the use of that item. the banks can sweep checking deposits into an overnight account and collect interest. and employees sometimes kite a check off the cash drawer. (don't try to cash that check). all of business is shady. in the college bookstore business managers throw away overstock they can't return, and when it shows up missing at inventory, its gets written off as theft (most theft in retail is employees, and managers, and some is actual shoplifting, which is where all the security money is spent) and a lot of restaurants and bars are fronts to launder drug money. you do a thousand a week, you print up ten thousand in receipts, and the rest is what you made selling pot. nobody checks the inventory, but so what if you throw a lot of food away, or give it away. all of business in america is rotten. channel stuffing, rebated and discounted items sold as full price for earnings reports. operating expenses written off as one time charges. ten years ago the complaint was pro forma earnings, but like everything, it was only the tip of the iceberg in financially engineered profits.
