They squandered four whole fucking years devising ever more deceiving ways to innovate the financial truth in order to bail out their banksters by means of fabulously opaque feats of smoke and mirror financial engineering.
They have no concrete plan or faintest inkling of a concrete plan for returning the peripheral economies to growth other than fast tracking privatizations and dreaming about cash rich Chinese investors clamoring to dump their fat wallets on airports, ports and hotel chains.
They lied about the purpose of austerity and they lied about the efficacy of mirage structural reforms.
They are always eager to bludgeon those who would have the audacity to publicly complain about the genuine hopelessness of their economic predicament.
They pay themselves fat salaries to write and sponsor stupid assed regulations concerning such idiocies such as the dangers of unsealed olive oil servers in Italian restaurants.
They constantly proclaim that the crisis that never existed is once again finally over. Yes finally finally over.
And now, they suddenly want all to believe that they are so terribly and genuinely concerned...concerned with the human plight of the their newly minted and rapidly hardening lost generation of youth.
You know what?
Fuck them, fuck banksters and fuck the EURO Austerity Frau they all rode in on!
And fuck you Ben Bernanke!

Now, if that were the law of the land - I dont think we would have a debt problem at all.
Whatever happened to the spankings and the oral sex? Socialism is a ripoff.
Another epic pile of WB7 Euro Visual Combat. Creepy shit...
Thanx, WB7!
Nikkei down another 5.15%.
The Jury is still out for me on the type of system best placed to provide people with choices.
Due to the fact the vast majority need to be led that opens them up to exploitation from those who get a kick out of power.
It's tragic to witness the abuses dished out in say africa and the middle east, elsewhere, by dictators, despots like say in Nigeria who sludge of to Houston ( ussa ) to deposit, transfer, count the stolen monies, wealth from the oil fields of the niger delta aided by the same sick scummy banksters who are screwing everyone else on this planet and all whilst the tragic generations of children live in shit trying to grow food on land dessimated by big oil spillage.Sending their stupid sibblings to the finest polished schools abroad to Rinse and Repeat.
On a happier note WB7 your work is second to none and at least gets me out of bed in the morning and occassionaly provides me with a spring in my step.
Very much appreciated! Hope to exchange pleasanteries in the near future.

The phrase "Hot Money" applied to Cyprus was the tell.
Get the sheep on board that there is something nefarious going on and they are expected to baaa baaa right along. Then the wolf got greedy and went after ALL accounts and the sheep scattered.

Cure for fraudulent bankers [includes all bankers, by the way..]

Except that for $22,000, you practically need to be a banker to own one.
Yeah, but it comes with a cleaning rod.
The wussies deserve it, they should have made a revolution by now. COWARDS.
Austerity Ghoul....is truly...truly...disturbing.
WOW !
That is a real mash up ;-)
Lately I tend to think that it's probably more complicated than what we can see.
This austerity we're protesting against is what keeps the pensions flowing to old parents who now are supporting financially their unemployed children, who in turn know that every cent they earn for the next 20 years will go towards keeping the welfare state ponzi alive, in an almost certain inflationary spiral.
The "other" than austerity solution is CB printing to death, in an almost certain hyperinflationary spiral.
And what choices do we have? In Greece there are:
What are we supposed to do?
Justice. Seek Justice. Demand Justice.
Exchange your fiat US Dollars for gold and silver coins.
I'm partial to gold and silver eagles.
Even though my next buy will probably be a bag of US silver junk coins.
Given the state of the US, I'm beginning to wonder about the purity of the coinage with a strike date of anything higher than 2007. Even then, it may be suspect. Perhaps going for .999 rounds from an independent is as worthy an object of monetary exchange as anything being produced by a "soveriegn".
In fact, maybe if we all melted "soveriegn" coinage down we could tell these frauds to get their act together and return trust to the marketplace. You do know a "gold eagle" weighs over an ounce because it is an amalgamation. Yet they're "sold" in a plastic case with the thought human hands should never touch it and wear down the pm's intrinsic value.
What a joke.
What are we supposed to do?
RUN
"What are we supposed to do?"
I don't know if you are asking a theoretical question or a practical question concerning activism and politcal tactics.
As to the former, a similar problem is afflicting the US but is disguised by all the money printing. Until we have accountability as a matter of law and as a matter of market punishment for malinvestment, there will be no panacea and the machine will either slowly grind to a halt or suddenly implode.
People who commited a whole range of frauds need to be punished or thrown out of power.
All the debt that financed malinvestment and get rich schemes needs to be chopped down or written off. It is not like people don't know this. This is precisely what the IMF prescribes in the rest of the world. But somehow the rules that apply in the developing world don't apply in the West. But they sure as hell should.
The problem with the austerity meme is not the notion that governments and private enterprises need to balance their check books. This is common sense. Keynesian spend, spend, spend and spend your way out of trouble is a delusion.
The problem is that this notion of 'austerity' only seems to apply to the little people while the royals of klepto-kapitalism are made 100% whole. The MSM conveniently ignore this, prefering to instigate slugfests between PhD bloggers.
Austerity is now the hammer that only strikes the poor and the middle class.
Politically, it is not complicated to express this to the man on the street, unless you are a bought politician with skin in the game.
This is why Bepe Grillo is headed down the right track. He sees this crystal clear and so far he has not been corruptible.
But bear in mind that no one understands the mentality of the man on the street and his behavior in a crowd than a good old fashioned fascist.
At the root of it all, the average man in the street is no soldier for the truth. He remains deluded until bitten in the ass then runs around shreiking until the next facsist helps him adjust his form of slavery.
Why does a picture of hellery seem to want to fit in with this bunch here so badly?
From the mouths of babes...to the hands of angels aware.
Seems to be the order of the day William.
PJM EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Diplomats Report New Benghazi Whistleblowers with Info Devastating to Clinton and Obama"More whistleblowers will emerge shortly in the escalating Benghazi scandal, according to two former U.S. diplomats who spoke with PJ Media Monday afternoon.
These whistleblowers, colleagues of the former diplomats, are currently securing legal counsel because they work in areas not fully protected by the Whistleblower law.
According to the diplomats, what these whistleblowers will say will be at least as explosive as what we have already learned about the scandal, including details about what really transpired in Benghazi that are potentially devastating to both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The former diplomats inform PJM the new revelations concentrate in two areas — what Ambassador Chris Stevens was actually doing in Benghazi and the pressure put on General Carter Ham, then in command of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and therefore responsible for Libya, not to act to protect jeopardized U.S. personnel.
Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA. Such a mission would usually be a CIA effort, but the intelligence agency had opposed the idea because of the high risk involved in arming “insurgents” with powerful weapons that endanger civilian aircraft.
Hillary Clinton still wanted to proceed because, in part, as one of the diplomats said, she wanted “to overthrow Gaddafi on the cheap.”
This left Stevens in the position of having to clean up the scandalous enterprise when it became clear that the “insurgents” actually were al-Qaeda – indeed, in the view of one of the diplomats, the same group that attacked the consulate and ended up killing Stevens."

I wish they would tie Hillary and McCain to a stinger and fire it at the moon.

People who commited a whole range of frauds need to be punished or thrown out of power.
Throwing them out of helicoptors would be far more entertaining.
Since we paid for the dinner, we might as well get a show.
I like Carlin's idea better of taking a whole bunch of them lining them up and firing them in rapid succession out of cannons into a brick wall.
Too simple, too easy and not painful enough. Something more long and drawn out...like this fucking "recovery".
I like you Tony, you got some good ideas.
i would rather the cocksuckers had to work like the middle class and the working poor have to just to survive.
Let the fuck stains put in 40 hrs a week for 50k to 70k . Let the criminal class live on that. We will even give them 2 weeks vacation and they get to contribute 20% to their health plan too.
When you fly u get to be felt up too!
Then live on social security but make sure u manage to save 220k (besides your retirement)for you and your wife to pay for your medical expenses in your golden years ! Thats the only gold we let them have too.
Put them in jail and exploit their labor.
Yes, have them work for the rest of their lives, but at minimum wage. Let their trophy wives work at minimum wage, as well, to make ends meet. They have to start off with nothing in the bank, a tiny apartment, and a small functional car. That's it. They can learn first-hand what it is like to wash dishes, push a broom, clean apartments, work at wally-mart, muck out cattle barns, toss hay bales, or work the counter at McD's at rush hour. They get the same time off policy as the rest of us (generally unpaid), they have to work weekends and holidays, and they have no savings or credit cards to fall back on. Then we will see how arrogant and self-centered they will be after a year of the slow grind.
That is probably what Dante's hell looks like for these pukes.
"They" understand perfectly well there is no solution, to the EU issues or global issues. US, Germany, France, UK, Russia, China, Japan -- all read from the same playbook.
And the last page in the book reads "and now you run out of cheap oil."
Game. Over.
This is now the scramble for seats in the few lifeboats. China won't get one. Russia might. Japan (a land of ritual suicide) is toast. The EU will make sure the core is fine, the rest can burn. At least they'll have some nice wines to drown their sorrows in.
The US -- an island asylum weaned on violent insanity -- will be left to burn itself out in inward-directed self-hatred. When the reset is over the last standing powers will (after a 300 year hiatus) come back and finish colonizing the place. Only by then the "natives" will be defenseless fat white people originally from Europe, the earlier hardy red people having been lost to hopeless alcoholism.
We are going back people, and the oligarches intend to finish some business that free energy interrupted. It won't be a New World Order, not by a long shot, but the same old king-on-the-hill crap the world has endured for 10,000 years.
Where are all these white people you speak of in USA coming from in 300 years? Maybe a medium brown color?
There are real solutions, but they involve the psychopaths in charge voluntarily deciding not to be self-serving elitist assholes and doing what is morally and ethically right.
My guess however, is that the psychopaths in charge believe that doing what is morally and ethically right is hard, uncomfortable, contrary to everything they know and ONLY for suckers with no power.
Doing the right thing is difficult once you have sold yourself to satan and all of your good friends and acquaintances also worship satan.
The human condition goes through cycles and right now we appear to be on the way to a very low bottom thanks to the total lack of conscience of those who seek and abuse power. It is not always like this. People of conscience (who care about the world and their species more than themselves) will once again get into power as the cycle renews, but for the time being the world has to survive the psyochopathic human trash.
The end game you are referring to, will play out where ther original Great Game was played, Central Asia. I'm no expert, but I know there is a shit load of extractable carbon fuel in Central Asia and look at which global powers surround it.
I would not be at all surprised to see the gravitational center of the human experience shift out of the western half of Europe, move east and south between Russia, India and China. More or less where it started 8,000 years ago. Or perhaps the center will split, leaving the Americas (north and south) to go it alone as the last bastion of "western" thought as core Europe becomes like an aging uncle to young Asia.
However it moves, it is moving, and we will shortly have to start writing history all over again.
Russia is not culturally exciting. Asia is trying very hard to displace the global hegemony of the West. The Chinese in particular are very adaptable. Much more so than the Japanese. But they are also very nationalist in their outlook and until they genuinely open up that will put a crimp on their ability to shift the center of gravity.
Let me put it differently. How can they be the center of the universe if all their ambitious people want to move to California, Australia and Vancouver?
well the Romans moved to Constantinople and the Europeans to New Amsterdam.
I don't see a hegemonial middle kingdom; but I do see the fall of US hegemony, when petrodollar razmataz dissolves.
The combination of western hubris's decadence and cheap oil energy depletion will lead to new paradigms which are more decentralised.
Imagine the world with many belly buttons dancing to different tunes, all of them less consumer intensive but just as juiced up in fighting fantasy on Internet fed excellence.
Peer to peer and to cheek to cheek and "her tears flowed like wine!"... Hong Kong blues time coming.
And, if China chimes start to ring seriously again think Chengdu, Sichuan cooking, Renmin road and upmarket elitism, the new face of middle kingdom.

All they know how to do is to break shit to their liking. That it destroys countless lives is of no concern to them, as they've successfully dehumanized the masses with collectivism.
absolutely AMAZING Banzai
i'm in tears ;,,)))
Looks like the light is shining brightly on the criminal corruption that has run rampant on the world for long to long.

What!? You're not getting rich selling your economic anti-establishment art? Well I never! (As my grandma would say...)
Well, at least you're famous in art circles worldwide.
Oh, wait...
I guess famous on ZH has gotta do for now.
On a slightly more serious note, I spent a whole day at Art Basel HK last week. You may have seen the coverage. It was a huge event sponsored by DB. Next year UBS.
Need I describe the absolute dearth of any human expression addressing worldly affairs such as banksterism, drone warfare, false flag politics etc?
The closest it got to my space was Andy Warhol's silk screen greenbacks and that is not very close at all.
A similar fate befell the interwar Berlin Dada movement which was ostracized by the art establishment then but is admired for its continuing relevance today.
"... the absolute dearth of any human expression addressing worldly affairs such as banksterism, drone warfare, false flag politics etc?"
That's because the "art establishment" only funds liberal causes art.
I didn't see much 'liberal cause' art there either.
Ah Wb,
You must have chortled gleefully at the supreme irony being in a show sponsered by DB.
I imagine some Berlin bigshot flown in for the black tie occasion gazing in horror at some of your finer Mutti & Co. offerings muttering "Gott in Himmel."
There's gotta be at least one funny story in there somewhere. Please tell.
I am planning to write somethoing about it. But it was basically everything you would expect it to be, with some good art lying around. ;-)
'The interwar Berlin Dada movement ... is admired for its continuing relevance today.'
Hell, it's probably the unacknowledged inspiration for the Monetary Dadaism which now rules the globe: we believe it because it is absurd.
Meanwhile, forgive me, but is that Marc Faber walking his schwein Frau Ferkel in a park in Chiang Mai? The face looks awfully familiar.
That's Helmut Kohl.
