Move Over Marx, Here Comes Obama
Ronald Reagan would be turning in his grave, wouldn’t he? In what became known as the most anti-communist speech of all time given by Reagan in 1987 on the 70th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution (1917), the former President of the United States of America said that the Soviet Union was the ‘evil empire’. If we could bring that President back to life in true-Hollywood fashion (in fitting with his previous job! A leopard never changes its spots), he would certainly say that it was not Russia today that was the evil empire of communism, but the United States itself! Funny how, as time goes on, people seem to change their attitudes and forget what they once criticized in the past, isn’t it?
The Question that Obama is begging us all to answer these days is: has the good old US of A gone Commy? Pinko?Lefty? You know what I’m hinting it, don’t you? Don’t go getting all bashful, some might say that there is nothing to be ashamed of. Shame it just didn’t happen fifty-odd years ago, you might have saved us all the heartache of the Cold War, shivering out in the freezing temperatures of two ideologies that were at loggerheads with each other, vying for a place of supremacy.
Now the US has gone the other way. Move over Marx! Marx is so yesterday, anyhow, dontcha know? Obama is the new manna; he’s a happening all in himself, food from heaven and the best thing about it all is that it came at a time when nobody expected it at all.
Obama’s new tax policy will raise $800 billion over a decade. But, it’s the rich and the middle class that are going to be hit the most. The People’s Bank of the Soviet Union shortly after the Revolution was created by the merging of banks that were nationalized by force. Only difference with Obama and the US banking system is where the forcing came from. The banks in the US have been to all intents and purposes nationalized. Obama has bailed out the banks to the tune of $780 billion each year since the recession according to research. They get $360 billion in Federal Reserve subsidies and $120 billion in federal deposit insurance. You can add another $100 billion in government-guaranteed loans and the same sum in monopolistic advantages. Lastly there’s $100 billion in fees in the OTC (over-the-counter) derivative market. That all adds up to trillions. Literally.
Remember they were “too big to fail”. Where’s the free-market economics that were the pride of neoliberalism? Reagan would be turning in his grave! Didn’t we believe in the US at one time that printing money would do nothing more than increase inflation. Whatever happened to those principles of the USA, so dear to their hearts, so exportable to the rest of the world? It was the model that we all had to follow. Now, the US is turning in on itself, coming full circle, turning commy. Who would have thought?
Obamacare was an admirable pledge for his election. Even though he is far from succeeding and there are still million without access to health in the USA. There were 45 million in 2012 that still didn’t have healthcare cover. But, in the process of setting up healthcare Obama has created a hoard of bureaucrats that are employed daily as civil servants to deal with the implementation of new policies. Federal employment has increased under Obama by 11.7% on average since 2009. If the shrinking private sector of liberals can’t employ you (there’s been a fall of 7.5 million jobs), then the state will happily do so. Can we all join the bandwagon? There were 2, 790, 000 federal workers in January 2009 (when Obama took office). Now there are 2, 804, 000. Every month has seen an increase in the number of federal workers since that date. Where’s the neoliberal attitude gone?
What happened to free trade? Where are the open markets, privatization and deregulation? Where’s the reduction in the public sector gone? Where’s the meritocracy in life? Where’s the employee of the month hanging on the wall out of just deserves? That’s so old-hat, isn’t it just! Everyone gets protected, helped, boosted, aided. That’s the wonderful thing about Communism. Old-School style. Now that’s fashionable, isn’t it? Old-school!
The Obama administration has sent the welfare state through the roof, costing nearly $1 trillion a year. That’s an increase of 19%. Is the US becoming an assisted state? Is the state become the people’s nanny? Federal and state spending have grown from $779.9 billion to $927.2 billion. Debt is growing, spending is increasing and the welfare state is expanding. The answer in true Soviet fashion is to print the bills and provide for the people.
This reads like a fictional piece. A Hollywood film featuring Obama and everybody gets to eat the popcorn…well sorry, the rich pay, the poor eat the popcorn. But, it’s not a movie. It’s what’s happening today.
Had the Soviet Union still been in existence, the USA would have been annexed as a wonderful example of the ideology that they invented. Today, that’s not possible. So, Obama is going to have to go it alone.
But, as we look on and watch in awe at what is happening with the QE, the state intervention(s), the money-printing, the bolstering of the banks, the massive shore-up policies to save the failings of their system, we wonder how Stalin must have (somewhere, wherever he is in that Communist paradise) a wry smirk on his face. Can you hear The Internationale? Obama is humming it as we speak! The USSA?

Obama needs to fire some speech writers. This is most likely a coincidence but you never know who might be trying to insert some hidden symbolism. As I was looking through Trevor Loudon’s blog I saw an interesting reprint from The American Spectator. It brought something to light that most of us missed for a week. In Obama’s counterterrorism speech last week he referenced a very powerful KGB symbol. In fact he referenced, what is for all intents and purposes, the KGB logo.

Ah but you are not seeing how Wall Street is being setup to fail again. So, let Wall Street accumulate all the goods and then stop printing money thereby pulling the rug out from under the banks. The banks need a bailout but Occupy and everyone else will go apeshit if there is another bailout. What to do, what to do? How about we nationalize the banks? That way the banks and all the property they bought cheap is centralized in one fell swoop. Add that to the disaster of Obamacare, which will end up in a single payer centralized system and the government will control just about the entire economy. They already can control mil/def because of security. Agriculture is controlled through subsidies and regulations. Energy is controlled via the EPA and other agencies.
This is just the last leg being sawed off. Too bad we (cumulatively) were to blind to see it coming.

Reagan is the most highly overrated president in recent history. He raised taxes despite the myth that he cut them. And he gets way too much credit for the fall of the Soviet Union. It was bound to collapse of its own weight. But where he really fell short in my opinion is that he was the first republican president since Nixon and had a chance to restore financial sanity by reversing Nixon's decision to abandon Bretton Woods and decouple the dollar from gold. Carter took a lot of heat for the economy, inflation and all that but it wasn't his doing, it was Tricky Dick's. Reagan appointed Alan Greenspan as Fed Chairman and we all know how that went. He blew more bubbles than Lawrence Welk.

In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights.
The move comes a few years after the administration became the first in history to dispatch a U.S. Attorney General to personally reassure Muslims that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is dedicated to protecting them. In the unprecedented event, Attorney General Eric Holder assured a San Francisco-based organization (Muslim Advocates) that urges members not to cooperate in federal terrorism investigations that the “us versus them” environment created by the U.S. government, law enforcement agents and fellow citizens is unacceptable and inconsistent with what America is all about.
“Muslims and Arab Americans have helped build and strengthen our nation,” Holder said after expressing that he is “grateful” to have Muslims as a partner in promoting tolerance, ensuring public safety and protecting civil rights. He also vowed to strengthen “crucial dialogue” between Muslim and Arab-American communities and law enforcement.
Evidently that was a precursor of sorts for an upcoming Tennessee event (“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society”) that will feature the region’s top DOJ official, who serves as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and an FBI representative. The goal is to increase awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles, according to a local newspaper report. The June 4 powwow is sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee.
The area’s top federal prosecutor, Bill Killian, will address a topic that most Americans are likely unfamiliar with, even those well versed on the Constitution; that federal civil rights laws can actually be violated by those who post inflammatory documents aimed at Muslims on social media. “This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian says in the local news story. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”
The DOJ political appointee adds in the article that the upcoming presentation will also focus on Muslim culture with a special emphasis on the fact that the religion is no different from others, even though some in the faith have committed terrorist acts, Christians have done the same. As an example he offers that the worst terrorist attack in the U.S. prior to 9/11 was committed by American Christians in Oklahoma City. He also mentioned the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting last year in which another Christian, an American white supremacist, fatally shot six people and wounded four others.

Over the years the Obama administration has embarked on a fervent crusade to befriend Muslims by creating a variety of outreach programs at a number of key federal agencies. For instance the nation’s Homeland Security covertly met with a group of extremist Arab, Muslim and Sikh organizations to discuss national security matters and the State Department sent a controversial, anti-America Imam (Feisal Abdul Rauf) to the Middle East to foster greater understanding and outreach among Muslim majority communities.
The Obama Administration has also hired a special Homeland Security adviser (Mohamed Elibiary) who openly supports a radical Islamist theologian and renowned jihadist ideologue and a special Islam envoy that condemns U.S. prosecutions of terrorists as “politically motivated persecutions” and has close ties to radical extremist groups.
The president has even ordered the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to shift its mission from space exploration to Muslim diplomacy and the government started a special service that delivers halal meals, prepared according to Islamic law, to home-bound seniors in Detroit. Who could forget Hillary Clinton’s special order allowing the reentry of two radical Islamic academics whose terrorist ties have long banned them from the U.S.?

Would it insult the Muslims to remind people that Mohammed was a pedophile and approved of screwing goats?

Of course, drone striking muslims by the hundreds, killing hundreds of thousands by invading countries to secure hegemony, and using DU munitions, poisoning many thousands more are of course by no means a violation of any one's civil rights.
I would love to see the list of people Obama has killed/murdered with his drones. Is there any reason to assume that a significant portion of the terminated are terroristic or even muslim? Is there a way to reconcile why our military is hamstrung by absurd rules of engagement in Afghan where they cannot defend themselves and are committing suicide at staggering rates, but we are just left to presume that the drone carnage is all properly directed at high-value Al-Quaeda targets. Who draws up the enemies list, that troglodyte mohammedan Brennan? Whose payroll is that POS on? Why the stand-down orders surrounding the Benghazi mayhem when we are all assured that drones are knocking out the bad guys? I'd wager half the liquidated are chosen by Soros.
