It’s Not The Dollar that’s Dead, It’s the USA!
“When the going gets tough, the tough get going” is a wonderful piece of linguistic wizardry. It can be read in two different ways. Either the 'tough' become fully engaged in combat and fight it out till the bitter end or the ‘tough’ up sticks and move out. It was supposedly Joseph P. Kennedy (father of US President John F. Kennedy) that gets the praise for having said it first. Once upon a time, in a far off place called the United States of America where that became a historical byword to describe exactly how they did business, it was once the first meaning that always held true. These days, however, it’s more like they are jumping ship with the rats before they are totally decimated, ripped into tiny pieces and scattered by the winds to the four corners of the Earth.
But, we only have ourselves to blame. I can understand patriots, but right now it looks very much like the USA is its own worst enemy. Congress is doing little all that procrastinating and sitting tight till the storm blows over. Washington is killing the USA, stunting growth. By 2040 we’ll be well behind the rest as China hits a staggering high of 40% of world GDP. The USA is estimated to be at about 14% by that same year. The EU will be baby-portion size at only 5%. Not much in comparison, is it? But we’ll probably carry on thinking ourselves to the top of the roost. What is it that the French say as to why they have the rooster as their national emblem (although it’s not actually the real reason)? It reads like this: the rooster is the only animal that still carries on singing even when it’s knee-high in cow shit. The US is still cockaldoodledoing, isn’t it? I never thought they would take a leaf out of the Frenchies’ book on how to do business.
China is investing in their future. It has an army, hoards of workers that are just begging to get into the factories as the USA has workers struggling to get out and do a runner. It’s a hit and run game in the USA today. Do the dirty and make a run for it. China’s economy will hit the $123 trillion mark by 2040. The USA is at just 1% of GDP growth and saddled with debts that are far too big to even lug over their shoulders and drag along with them. They are standing still right now. China will get to $85,000 per capita income. That’s double anything that the Americans and the Europeans are capable of doing.
The boys from Shanghai are laughing at us and our over-rated pride. I thought we used to tell people to stop living in the past. Sorry, officer, put the cuffs on me. I’ll plead guilty. We are not just living in the past; we’re living in a different century. We’re living where we used to be at the top, where we used to say jump, and people jumped. We didn’t even need to say ‘Simon says’ and people did it. But, that’s a child’s game. Long gone. It’s a better man that admits that he has lost the fight. But, instead of griping, we need to get our act together. Start changing the way we produce, the way we take decisions, the way we run the markets.
And please: Before you start getting your John Wane walk on and telling me to get off my high horse, look at the US without the tainted rose-coloured glasses that you normally wear and start listening and watching what’s actually happening. It only adds fuel to the fire, and pleases China and the rest of the rising fiery dragons that are breathing down our necks. Figures are wonderful; they are like snapshots of history. The camera doesn’t lie. Smile, guys!

I believe we already have. Did we not send the bulk of our mfg over there?
And just how would "we" prevent China from taking 40% of world GDP? Stop Cinese imports? Not gonna happen. Put heavy tarriffs on Chinese impots? Not gonna happen, they'd retaliate by halting purchase of our govt debt, maybe selling off what they have. Nope, our govt really can't do much to anyone buying their debt ...which is just about everybody. It's the main thing we export now.
Folks like you hope China will go down so USA's demise won't look so bad.
The minute China halts the buying/support of our government debt, they will degrade their own exports and kill the value of their own $reserves.
Converting to a gold-backed Yuan as the world currency reserve would limit the volume of world commerce available to the value of the physical gold supply held by the Chinese and whoever else may subscribe to that endeavor.....Unless the world, once again falls prey to rehypothicational charlatanism of fractional gold "contracts for delivery" to back their efforts at commerce.
If the BRICS or World Bank, IMF, or PBOC, or some other yet-to-be-imagined faux-money-creation entity becomes the arbiter of relative currency values, gold-backed or otherwise, the Babylonian Wall Street and London-based moneysuckers will simply relocate their tabernacles and recreate themselves as "new" entities, like green-bottle flies on fresh feces.
Thousands of Rothchild/Rockefeller-trained and co-opted moneysucking, murderous, thugs are already pre-positioned in many countries with strong enough resources to corrupt any/all morally bereft government officials and politicians. Be assured the seeds of corruption and fractional charlatanism have already been planted and are being nutured in many wannabe financial centers.
The faux-Hebrew, Babylonian moneysucking power has been in the maturation process for eons. The Chinese ascension to world economic and military power has been planned for centuries. The ascension of the Chinese is not the end game, it is the penultimate scheme. The Chinese will, in the short-term, consume themselves with internal corruption and unbridled greed of the leadership at many levels. The dissolution of China will pave the way for the final end game.....the NWO.
Contrary to Western Observers and media propagandists, China is not a monolithic culture. Many areas of China don't speak, read, or write the same language. The current Chinese central government holds the political/geographic acretion together by intimidation and murderous thuggery, much like the U.S. Government maintains its increasingly tenuous grip on the 50 disparate soverign U.S. States.
Already Chinese workers grow restive, dissatisfied with their unending serfdom; Central government control; Local government incompetence and corruption. Extreme pollution of the air, water, and food supply, is causing illness and early death. Protests are growing more frequent, more widespread, and increasingly violent. Local police and government troops are killing and imprisoning breadwinning protestors, leaving families without means of support, as there is no social safety net as in most Western nations.
There are many anecdotal reports that the burdgeoning government prison populations are being controlled/reduced/mitigated by murder/"disappearing" of prisoners and the selling of their body parts and organs on the international markets.
Already factory work is being outsourced to lower-wage Asian and African competitors. Overcrowded shanty towns, without running water, electricity, or sanitation are growing on the outskirts of many major Chinese cities. Rural peasants, dispossessed by many levels of Chinese governments are living in deplorable conditions all over China. Minimally acceptable living accomodations are unaffordable to them.
Central government, "one-child" policy, has resulted in an excess young male population of 200,000,000 (200 milion). A population of 200 million more young males than available women creates a historically unnatural population configuration which can possibly portend many demographically unanticipated conditions for the near future. Already there are many reports from adjacent neighboring nations of incursions of "gangs" of young Chinese men "stealing" their young women. Homosexual relief may work for some young men, but what that may produce demographically/economically for the next generation is an open question. Increased homosexual activity among the male population, along with government ordered/sanctioned abortions may result in the same negative population growth that has now affected immigration, social, economic, and tax policies for many Western nations.
What can you do with an excess population of 200 million young men.....Build a huge military? Export the military to aggressive foreign adventures? Could you feed foreign forces and the Chinese homeland by purchasing/controlling foreign sources of food in places like the U.S., Canada, Africa, South America.
Already there is a problem with a burdgeoning muscum population in Western China. China is not immune to an infestation of radical muscums. The Silk Road runs in both directions.
So, in summary, such grandiose predictions for a world dominating China in 50 years or so, has many things that must be considered. Our human predictive abilities are not so good as we may sometimes presume.
We need to clean up our own act. Exterminate the lifelong criminal/political careers of those who have led us into our current conditions. Stop the contued growth of the parasitical classes, both rich and poor, and release the middle class from economic and regulative bondage and let them engage in rebuilding the country.

Yes the current crappy crop of politicians for the last 20 years have betrayed the nation with their nonsensical push for globalism (as I recall US Constitution mandates congess regulate trade with foreign nations) which has served the corrupt bankers just fine (hide inflation). But it will end, when I wish I knew. Someone I worked with lived in China and quit the employer in order to return to the US because the pollution was so awful there.

If you carefully look at the author's use of "we" "them" "us" and other pronoun references and consider his position, you quickly conclude that these rants are some form of agitprop.

The funny thing is I have never ever heard any of the many Chinese I have met say anything that implies that they have designs on ruling the world or displacing the US.
I have noticed that many want to visit or move to California or New York someday. But curiously, none of them said they wanted to move to France.
Exactly. I'm living in China and I've never heard the first word about having designs to rule anything else in the world. They've got their hands full managing the rapid transition thats going on here. They admire and want to copy the US lifestyle. Many want to visit or live in the US.

I've been (largely lurking) at the hedge for several years, and this "article' is the most pointless drivel that I've seen published here. FWIW, it's perfectly true that it's no longer morning in America... but this is news?
SeekingAlpha went downhill fast when they started printing college student's term papers and calling them "articles". Is ZeroHedge following down the same path?
