2013...
THE GUARDIAN--The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon, one of America's largest telecoms providers, under a top secret court order issued in April.
The order, a copy of which has been obtained by the Guardian, requires Verizon on an "ongoing, daily basis" to give the NSA information on all telephone calls in its systems, both within the US and between the US and other countries.
The document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of US citizens are being collected indiscriminately and in bulk – regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing.

I don't agree with everything in the Guardian. But I will say this, this is what a real news organization does and I tip my hat
to them for doing it: Link
Wait till Holder finds out about this..........
...And even Obama.
Agreed, rare these days. I backed my car into a cop car the other day. That's okay, he just drove away. Good news for people that love bad news... Btw, such a sweetie in the eyes of many ;-)
Great song-great band. These days backing your car into a cop will probably get you shot.
Sometimes life's ok.
thats why you cant get a plaine jane phone any more. also misspellalot and dont take it where you want to bee beefore it goes dooown
Some cross between the "Idiocracy" world and the "V" world.
VIdiocracy?
This is easy enough to fix. Everyone just needs to use a few keywords in every conversation and flood the system.
"Hey Bob."
"Did you have fun at the party? I think the neighbors were terrorized by the noise."
"I plan to attack the beer like a suicide bomber next time."
"Next time don't invite so many virgins."
"Allah have to remember that."
"Let's watch Dead Presidents tonight."
"Nah, let's watch that Stone movie about assassinating the President."
And so on and so forth. It's called passive resistance.
.....be sure to also add the word "pressure cooker" whenever appropriate:
"Wow, that Russian borsche Margie did in the pressure cooker tasted more like a Syrian stew....did she get the explosive recipe from Al Qaeda?"
you know that they monitor da intrawebz too, right? The drones are on the way...you might want to warn your neighbors of possible collateral damage.
Nah, as Americans, the neighbors too are all criminals
DHS & Other Agencies

Yes, the Department of Homeland Security is searching social media for…”social media”.
That list is well worth filing
p.s. fuck you NSA, DHS, Obama, Bernanke, et al.
In mining parlance it’s stockpiling ore. Once Utah gets fully operational, they’ll need plenty of material to process.
Yeah but if you're not doing anything wrong, you don't have to worry /sarc
.....and who gets to define "wrong".....that is always the question....Hitler had one definition and Obama has another....
define "wrong". In this freakin bizarro world, it could mean anything.
(yes I saw the sarcasm...just sayin)
Or always say some good things about USA. You may win some US memorabilia.
The constitution? Use it or lose it.
in America, everyone is at all times doing something wrong.
That's the POINT of the current system - criminalize all kinds of behavior so it simply becomes a matter of 'discretion' on the part opf authorities whether or not someone gets arrested.
Worth saying twice!

About 3 weeks before the IRS scandal, Harry Reid started emoting "Government is good." On the senate floor, in hearings and conferences, in the MSM. Over and over again.
This served a very particular purpose. It bolstered the troops before the scandals hit. No different than when generals throughout history have made permutations on the emote "War is good" before they send in poor people to die for causes nobody remembers 5 years later, except literate people who read the historians who soundly debunk it 10 years later.
Just remember this folks: Government is good. So things that are not government are bad. You don't even have to be opposed to government. Simply not supporting it with your full heart and mind is not "good."
BINGO. this is the way the top levels of the system have worked for quite a long time...grab all dirt on everyone seeking higher echelons of power to use as blackmail for some future purpose. what we are seeing now is that system going mainstream through the use of technology. just wait until the local police forces in the backwaters get their mitts on these databases in the face of declining budgets -- it's gonna make central & south american corruption look like 2-bit piker scams.
it's no small irony that Mayor Mikey is the face of this current trend.
And God saith, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth.' -- genesis 1:26
I really don't get why you people are so paranoid. This has been the plan all along. AG-EH is finally going to prosecute TBTJ.
VZ-Business unit, WS...He's finally going to do his job.
