This is George Orwell's wet dream come true, albeit, roughly 30 years later than expected.  But it's not fully implemented quite yet:  the country needs to move from potential totalitarianism to a full-blown, militarized, Stalinist state.  When folks you know start disappearing in the middle of the night in black SUVs, you'll know it's arrived.

And love your art williambanzai7.  Keep it up!

It appears that the 'terrorists' have managed to win....they have now been able to turn the full force of the U.S. government against its own citizens.

Has anyone else noticed this simple fact? Have yet to hear one person in a position of resposibility say that the terrorists are running the show...that our elected politicos are just too dumb to see how they are being maneuvered,,,that our bureaucrats are always eager to grab more power over the populace.

the part I missed is where you didn't catch it was rigged. This was the plan all along. Cavemen didn't plan from Afghanistan or Pakistan to turn your government against you. They weren't for you at the start.

"It appears that the 'terrorists' have managed to win..."

Your statement gets more interesting when one considers where "terrorists" come from--the US government creates them by way of their theft, occupations, murder and general terrorizing of foreign peoples.

They then use the "blowback" from their terrorist activities as the excuse to now monitor and terrorist us. Gee, aren't they swell?!

It is a wonderful business model for them. One big asymetrical feedback loop.

Create fear, build intelligence and military infrastructure to spy on everyone, fire drones, vaporize innocent civilians, create more animosity, wait for or create next terrorist event, go back to the beginning.

Fear as a business model, it has been written about over and over.

What about Cyberchaos? It's all part of the model sillies! "We have to watch and modulate everyone to fight it."

And anyone who officially questions it is outed as a traitor.

indeed. The only cure for this exponentially spreading infection is an exponentially spreading immunity: the white blood cells need to tag the invaders, false flags & deliberate intent to curtail freedom, rights & confiscate assets, and make sure the entire body becomes quickly aware of the pathogen.

Snowden is doing this job. For this we must respect him and do our part to help with the tagging.

Of course that's pretty much what every WB7 pic is all about, much praise to you, sir.

Essential for the preservation of 1st and 4th amendment rights is for the government to provide an environment wherein public perception of free speech and personal security is made continually clear: what we are getting instead from obama, from his politicized agencies and from the non-responsive congress, is intimidation, to not speak freely and to be forewarned that our various recorded histories will be used against us, for whatever purpose, by whoever is in power.

Intimidation is the message here, and I for one will insist on being included out.

It's meme insertion, by following that line, you assume the "terrorists" are real, and not engineered. It is standard operating procedure, they keep hammering a manufactored truth into the media machine, blogs, whatever. The interenet has become weaponized, and the truth is lost in a fog of war. All sides are adapting to the new battle field over information and who controls history. Humanity has never had such an abundance of information, and the elites want to control that information.

I'm going to monetize information, it will become the new medium of exchange, three information units, and you can get a can of soylent green and keep your teeth. People, get ready to start licking boots because no society has every faced this level of technological monitoring. There literally will be no place to hide off their militarized computer grid. I hope we can find a way out of this mess without WWIII, which is maybe where they want to head this thing.

DISPLACED but not lost. Thanks to further commentary replies where not censored & various systems of rating up & down comments and articles on many platforms the system is self-adapting to indicate who is a liar, a fraud, a worthless censor, a propagandist or who is sending truth-memes out. It's still fuzzy but it's not full erasure or jackboot stomping. We're not lost yet

Have wished for a long time that a credible worthy patron like say Nelson Mandela would put his/her name to an AWARD/ PRIZE that would be presented to Whistleblowers who are brave enough and openly encouraged to come forward and expose Joe/Jane Publics eyes to the underhand Shit that goes on in the name of freedom and democracy. Several catagories including financial crimes against the state ; torture & murder victims etc etc
International & Country by Country Awards voted for on a Website by normal folks which would challenge the Accolades/ Nobels/ Peace ( laugh laugh ) DISHED out to the FREAKS & WHORES & FRAUDS BY THE CRIMINAL ELITISTS OF TODAY amongst themselves.

THIS KIND OF REALITY TV I COULD STOMACH WATCHING.

Having named names and exposed the fuckers live on tv i am convinced that the NSA & Other Public Defenders (haha haha) would despatch Special Units to make the neccessary arrests!! CHEATERS springs to mind.

the worst thing about ALL of this is Obama will skate because we have a 'vichy media'...our tribunes to protect us are truly just another arm of the monster...and yes, this fuck is especially important to crack down on. Yeah, bush, we knew he was a fuck, clinton and bush sr, yep, northeast educational elites, and fucks of the highest magnitude.  So much so Perot spent significant portions of his wealth and his good standing (remember what he did going in to Viet nam to get POWs - think 'Uncommon Valor') to try to upset the Bush ascendancy.

but this obama fuck is the worst, supported by the news, hollywood and self deprecating whites who believe the lie of white racism in america....this fuck must be prosecuted to the fullest extent as a treasoner, along with all his democratic and republican buddies.

fuck them all, march on washington whether physically or in spirit through letters to congress people, papers, on blogs, even speaking to those we know...as Tod Beamer said, let's roll.

The fact is that the Congress and the Senate sleep and do not do their job while America has been taken over by the Obummer and his pals.

The fact is that American stooge countries are keeping quiet and allowing their citizens's privacy to be thrown to the winds.

Like I said, the solution is a Facebookish network where the "terms" explain and provide a backend "feed" to any scum sucking, anti American spy networks run by Zionist world controllers.

I can set one up in a week. Actually, Zhedge should do it with someone's help like me.

It might just grow to millions of users, simply based on the "terms" and the message. Example, I quite Facefuck and I am now swallowed whole by G+. I hate it but I it's business after all, so why not just move to network for business with like minded business peeps.

How comforting, the state cannot control itself and sets extreme examples of how it cannot. I'm thinking cut the damned thing in half so they can concentrate on more important things than what someone posts on FaceSpook or searches for on GooglePRISM.

Oh yes, lest I forget...

"Carter Hull, the >>>Washington-based<<< IRS lawyer who oversaw targeting of conservative groups beginning in 2010, will retire this summer.

Hull was fingered in interviews with two IRS employees as the overseer of the agency’s improper targeting of conservative groups beginning in 2010.

“I was essentially a front person, because I had no autonomy or no authority to act on [applications] without Carter Hull’s influence or input,” Elizabeth Hofacre, an employee of the IRS’ Cincinnati office, told congressional investigators, according to Hofacre’s interview with congressional investigators."

I am thinking of how on earth a congress and president could shut this monster agency spy complex down. Just cut off their funding and watch them all go to work for Google, Yahoo, AT&T? What productive work can these spooks do? There are as many working stiffs on govt. payroll and consulting as work for private industries which gets about 30% of their revenue from govt. The best ROI: buy a congressional leader or pres.

Rand Paul smells another opportunity for grandstanding and poking the old GOP farts in the eye. I am sure there are a few others who will see the opportunity. Afterall, look what happened with CISPA and SOPA when the internet public was awakened.

This whistleblower situation is bullshit. We convicted people at Nuremburg for just standing by and doing what they were told. It is the same principle. The sovereign is not always right.

I'm not in thrall to Rand Paul, like the young'uns are. Some in the idealistic crowd are so intent on believing their investment in Paul Sr was not for naught, that they will believe any of Rand's excuses for not following through on his high pronouncements....all the way up to his possible election and, once he's president, his many excuses which will follow.

Disagree a little, not completely.

Rand is not his old man, but he does seem to be sticking his neck out here and there.  Politics is a sick and twisted game, and I'd rather see Rand Paul playing it than spurning it and being marginalized.  Even if he's not the hero we need, he still keeps the conversation pointed in the right direction, and that's not nothing.

Got to stop waiting for a superhero, they don't exist.  I'll take a Rand Paul over a Dick Cheney any day.  I'm sure he's not perfect, but at least he's showing up and making noise- which is more than can be said for most people.

Still going to disagree.

It'd be swell if there was some select cadre of folks who are more human than human watching out for us all, but the truth is, all there is is a bunch of regular people doing their best- and regular people make mistakes all the time.  Little people in little places make little mistakes that you and I can survive- but super-sized douchebags can kill us all with their egos.  There are no superheroes, just assholes like the rest of us who have good press agents.

Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way.  I don't need a Superman to swoop in and be my dad- I just need to be left alone to live my life, and I want every single other person in the world to have that same right.  It's only when we allow a loud handful to speak for millions of regular people that these sorts of problems arise.

A parable of sorts for you.

I recently have been dealing with a property dispute.  Nothing earth-shattering, just a few hundred square feet of grass on the back edge of my lawn.  The neighbor had been carving deep ruts in it, and my kids and dog were dragging mud into my house when they came in from playing outside.

The guy who made the ruts claimed it wasn't his problem, and he didn't intend to fix it- so, we talked it over in front of the local aldermen and the mayor, and got it sorted out.  It took a few weeks of discomfort and annoyance, but the issue was clairfied and sorted out.

Those aldermen only represent about 700 people each- and all the people who voted them in know where they live.  As a result, they were thoughful and careful in their decision- because they know that they will have to answer for any stupid abuses of power.  We didn't need a Batman or a Spiderman to sort out the nonsense- just a couple of hours of debate and some old maps, and the issue was resolved.  No one needed to take it to the Supreme court, or draft a new law that regulated tire ruts for the entire country.

But in the world today, those issues become needlessly abstracted.  A handful of elites try to use technology and censorship to steer a ship that is too big for any man to turn.  We don't need superheros or their ilk- we just need a handful of Atticus Finches in every county seat to get people to simmer down and remember that they are not precious and unique snowflakes who have a right to the things their neighbors worked for.  We don't have to, and don't want to, police the other side of the planet- we just need to fix our own neighborhoods and leave others to fix their own.

I know it's old thinking, and not so fashionable anymore, but it is what made us what we are.  Not everyone wins, but our Bill of Rights never guaranteed you would- it just let you have your day in court, and a few other things that all men should expect from this world.  Superheroes were never needed before, and they're not needed now- wishing and/or hoping for them is just begging to have a different elite fuck you.
