WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL 2012--McLean-based Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corp.'s proposed eye-popping $1 billion dividend would leverage the company to the hilt, while bringing a likely windfall to its majority owner, District-based private equity giant Carlyle Group LP.
Booz Allen (NYSE: BAH) announced Wednesday that it was exploring a deal to refinance $959 million in debt with new debt totaling up to $1.75 billion. It would use the difference, plus about $260 million in cash on hand, to fund a $1 billion dividend to stockholders.

To complete the story, this letter was found in her personal documents during a police raid at her appartments concerning her possible implication in a big government corruption case involving payments made by government to ex-top industrialist Bernard Tapie, for money that government owned CL bank allegedly bamboozled from him when selling his shares in Adidas sports firm which he had previously bought. Sarkozy turned a previous court decision unfavourable to Tapie around by having new hearings in private arbitration jurisdiction organised by Lagarde as FinMin to pay Tapie for services rendered (he helped him get elected). The new arbitration allowed Tapie to receive 403 Million Euro compensation there where the state courts had thrown out his previous claims. All thanks to Lagarde's initiative to use this private arbitration route with a main arbitration judge who it turns out is an intimate friend of Tapie, aka be "used as the president saw fit", in her new role as FinMin. The current ongoing hearings have declared this fabricated arbitration as : "theft in organised group; aka Mafia type scam". You can't have a more severe civil court accusation than that. Well done, Lady L for your possible participation in this scheme and awesome legacy for those who "run" this world on behalf of those other hidden figures behind the curtain.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says he did not swipe New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s Super Bowl ring, but Putin's spokesman said the Russian leader will reimburse him with another ring.
Kraft said at the Carnegie Hall's Medal of Excellence gala in New York on Thursday that Putin took the 124-diamond ring -- valued at $25,000 -- during a 2005 meeting in St. Petersburg.
“I took out the ring and showed it to [Putin], and he put it on and he goes, ‘I can kill someone with this ring,” Kraft said, according to the New York Post. “I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out.”
Kraft's new version of the story differs from the one he gave eight years ago when he claimed he handed the ring over as a gift.
Kraft said at the time he hadn’t meant to give the ring away, but said the White House urged him to treat it as a gift in the interest of international diplomacy, according to the New York Post.
But when he resurrected his objections, starting a new firestorm, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said his boss will make things right.

"The president will be ready to send him another ring as a gift, which he (Putin) can buy with his own money."
Peskov reiterated Sunday that Kraft gave the ring willingly and witnessed the presentation with his own eyes. He dismissed Kraft’s story as “weird.”
Why is this all of a sudden a big story now.............. Maybe someone needs to do a little background check on Kraft and where he spends his money. It might be quite revealing and answer why.
One piece of information not mentioned in the story the if to be believed that the story is true is that the reason Kraft didn't mention it being taken by Putin is that the Bush Administration asked him to not do so as to avoid a diplomatic "situation".
Anyone not seeing the chain of events, Snowden shows NSA spied on Russian leadership during G8 under Bush Cheney, Fox puts Cheney on defending the NSA and PRISM then Fox runs news story relating to Bush/Cheney, Russian leadership and rich connected crony all of a sudden changes his story to made Russian leadership look bad. I try not to watch more than 15 minutes of TV in a day. Sports, I will try to build up a buffer, to get through commercials. But when I am watching AND subject to commercial advertising I try to pay attention to every commercial (if I can't skip it) to see what are they trying to convey, what emotion are they trying to instill. After the jingle or the sales pitch, I always try to think to myself "Do not BUY Budweiser/KFC/etc"
