WB7, If you want to know about the Brazilian state security apparatus, look no further than Ft. Benning, GA..."The School of the Americas". There isn't a despotic regime out there whom we haven't "assisted" regarding their particular "security problems". btw, thanks again for yet another Halloween costume idea. Not that anyone in my sugar-coated neighborhood would get what those costumes really mean!

Democracy requires openness, because it only creates confidence and necessary control. Therefore, the Internet has gained in recent months for the political work clearly important.

I would like to cordially invite you to inform yourself about the menu items, for example about my political ideas. In your opinion I am very excited.

Furthermore, a lot of fun while surfing and thank you for your interest!

FIFA is threatening to cancel the "confederation cup" and stick the government with the tab. Brazil should give fifa the bird and cancel the world cup ( and why not the Olympics ) screw Blatter....screw FIFA....screw the Olympics, screw the bread and circuses policy. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Imagine the scenario: A federal agent attempts to arrest someone for illegally selling a machine gun. Instead, the federal agent is arrested — charged in a state court with the crime of enforcing federal gun laws.

Farfetched? Not as much as you might think.

The scenario would become conceivable if legislation passed by Missouri's Republican-led Legislature is signed into law by Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon.

Globalization is like a rash you can't rub off. The Fawkes mask is owned by Time Warner and they get a royalty for everyone sold. How the fuck did they get a copyright on Guy Fawkes?

I search lots of images all day and I have noticed how Hollywood is trying to get a copyright on world history by inundating the internet with their images which always come in at the top of a search.

In Brazil the boiling point to get millions in the street was an increase in bus fare that lite the match.  In American history, you tax some tea and there is a party in Boston.

In today's America I wonder what will be the tipping point?  Wars, drones, NSA, IRS, complicite media, etc is more an American way of life.  It may take a major war with millions of dead Americans to produce some inner reflection for America.

Two of my friends were in the streets of Rio last night.  They tell me they are pissed about corruption, crony capitalism, excess spending.  Oh! That sounds familiar!  One other friend, who did not protest, asked my why I had "not posted anything about Obama today (On PRISM, I mean FaceBook)?"  I told her he was on a $100 million dollar Africa vacation, to which she replyed: "He sounds like Dilma."  Brazilians know corruption when they see it.  Americanos not so much!

FWIW - Brazil had one of thee most economically stratified/concentrated economies/wealth control on the planet some 20 years ago.  You know - we have our 1% while they had their 0.25%, and that 0.25% might have had 2X the wealth that our 1% has.  You might add that to your list of grievances.

BTW:  I have no problem with JamieDimon earning $10 million per annum or the existence of the 1%.  It is just that it isn't happening by anything other than the most blatant corruption imaginable.  It is also possible and quite pleasing to have the 1% and everyone's real earnings tripling at the same time. You know - rising tide floats all boats.  Henry Ford understood this.

I haave a friend with whom I constantly have the parasite discussion.  You know - when a parasite has found a good host (think lamprey or tapeworm in the case of Jamie Dimon as Max Keiser characterizes him) it doesn't pay to suck it dry and kill it because it then has to go find something else to suck off.  Our American bankers are that stupid that they will kill the host.

My advice to the POTUS would be to establish no fly zones over:

1) Turkey - suppression of free expression rioting

2) Brazil - suppression of free expression rioting

3) Greece - suppression of frre expression rioting AND an unelectd Goldman Sachs government,

4) Italy - just a non elected Goldman Sachs government

Isn't that why we did the no-fly over Lybia - Ghaddfi (sp?) wasn't elected?

("Good on them" - does this mean that you are an Anitpode?)

Clinton's NoFly Zone over Iraq killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, the pilots were bombimg hospitals and power plants. The rules of engagement require the ground opposition radar to "lock on" to one of our aircraft. The term "lock on" does not mean "fire" it simply means their radar is tracking the aircraft. Then we take out the defense site. I see now that the Syrian NoFly Zone is still under consideration. Reason is the way its done, in this instance that would mean war. In Iraq the country had already been defeated in Gulf War I. The No Fly Zone started over the south and gradually expanded. The pilots were only meeting sporadic resistance, "lock ons", so the long term battle of attrition worked in their favor, (which is why they kept hitting infrastructure) Syria is a much different situation. We lost aircraft during the Iraq No Fly Zone as well, the pilots were flying only a few missions a day. An air campaign against Syria would have to be full scale. The initials attack would have to be more like shock and awe. Such an attack would come out of the blue, after some diplomatic threats. Then the NoFly Zone strategy would be put in place.

In a battle of competing technologies the US has the upper hand. Our ECM is probably a lot better than the Soviets anti-aircraft system. However there are other factors, aircraft flying low in crowded spaces in order to avoid hitting civilians, are vulnerable to standard anti-aircraft weapons and small arms fire. the battle around the cities would be easier to win, but inside these cities airpower would be less effective. obama has backed off this idea temporarily once they laid out the situation to him.

the american public loves war, but they hate casualties, and they would turn against such a war if it wasn't easy, clean and quick. The Iraq invasion was jokingly called cakewalk I, (built up as the mother of all wars to make the victory seem better)  Putin is still trying to get the missile "defense" systems out of Eastern Europe, so he holds the trump card. he feels justified in drawing a line here, so some machievellian deal has to be made. we pull out the EE missiles aimed at Moscow,a nd he hands over our Super Bowl Ring, keys to the ECM on the Soviet missiles.

sorry its such a long bit, but most people don't know what No Fly Zone means, or how it works, its limits and so forth.

If one is in tin-foil-hat mode, a "no-fly-zone" can be construed to be a blank check in the bank of "false flags."

As far as I know, the US - pardon me, NATO - used the Libyan no-fly as an open, no-holds-barred offensive platform.  I might expect the same in Syria should we go that route.  I hope we don't.  I have already called the CongressPuke about it.  Aside from the morals (the US isn't/can't be the world police force), and the financials (the US is already broke), at this juncture we would be dicking around with Putin.  Maybe we shouldn't let ourselves be intimidated by him.  There are huge escalation potentials that have to be pondered.  Libya was just an isolated side show.

How long will the rest of the world buy US Treasury paper in order for the US to conduct military operations against it?  J. Kyle Bass and Steve Keene raise embarrassing and irritating questions like that.  From what I can gather, the US attempt to undercut Irans financial system by kicking it out of the clearing bank in Brussels (?) didn't work so well.  There is a lot of trade being conducted in gold.  Someone "in-the-know" told me a year ago that we really couldn't affect Iran much more because we had had nearly maximum financial sanctions against them for the past ten years because of its terrorist misbehavior.  Apparently we did hack their industrial, nuclear process operations, computer controls.  Impressive.  I am not completely against the NSA - just 90% of what they do.

Good insight.  What were the rules of engagement for Libya's "humanatarian" no fly zone?  One would visualize dropping bread to the civilians.  But, the reality?

air warfare is only really effective against fixed targets. the technique in Nam was to set up an LZ in enemy territory, dig in, wait for a VC attack, and call an air strike on your own position. we were supplying the Libyan Al Qaeda rebels, probably with helicopter drops.

the fighter jets can't tell a loyalist tank, from one that has been liberated, and there was plenty of collateral damage. friendly fire as it were. not sure how much of the vital infrastructure we destroyed, (or if we are doing anything to repair it, we spent trillions rebuilding Iraq, but the new neo-conservative policy is to blow stuff up, and just walk away, and Obama is one of them. HC is even more belligerent)

the joke in Nam was that if Ho Chi Minh would have been smart , he would have surrendered, he could have earned millions in reparations. there is no such thing as humanitarion no fly zone

That is what I meant earlier this week about not letting the statists hijack the symbols from the people.
