I wish our military would follow suit and depose our Marxist regime.  I believe it's Constitutional to do so when a tyrannical government has been as criminally abusive as this one has been, and it ain't gonna get any better from here on out.

The only hope we have is that people like williambanzai7 and Tyler Durden and their followers are not buying into mass bullshit or the fact the MSM is not reporting the news.

The Guardian is the only paper out there which seems to be focusing on issues that effect the people.

We may be a minority, so was Jefferson and Franklin and the boys and they did something wonderful

What an oxymoron.

A "muslim democracy" make about as much sense as the DNK.

At least the Egyptian army saw and refused to turn their country into a "safe haven"., for the moment.

the Arab Spring is all about secular Muslims. the riots in Turkey were college kids protesting the no beer on campus rule. Syria is majority Sunni, ruled by Shia. Al Qaeda is a Sunni group. two of the 9/11 hijackers were arrested in Vegas for drinking and whoring around. Bin Laden and AL Qaeda are American dupes.

I thought that the Arab Spring was all about the farm belt's ethanol mandate - and Bernanke mollifying the banks with QE ad nauseum.

In the former case, the US drove the cost of corn through the roof with ethanol silliness.  The third world relies hevily on its corn, and the price went through the roof.  Better riot.  Riot for democracy???  What is that. No man.  I am rioting becaused to spend 60% of gross on dinner and now its 85%.  Mursi?  Who is he?  All I know is that under Mubarak, my corn went through the roof.  Times for some regime change.  Meet the new boss - same as the old boss.

Then we have Bernanke exporting inflation with his hateful money printing.  (Was Egypt a minor crude exporter?)  Regardless, Egypt now inports crude and its price went up.  See what happens about that in Pgh #1 above.  Oh yes.  Egypt is also a net food importer, and becoming more so every day.

Hmmmmm.  I wasn't going to say it, but pity the poor Greeks just across the pond from Egypt.  Egypt can at least print their own.

As we are all BBQing tomorrow afternoon, may I suggest that we all ponder how those two great civilizations - which really didn't have all of that much in terms of natural resources - rose so high and fell so low.  Was life so bad - relatively speaking - back at the height of thier respective civilizations?  Did they know that they should be unhappy w/o Keynesian multipliers are the requisite amount of GDP growth?  Was there ever any GDP growth?

I still get a little chuckle every time I hear the name, Zimbabwe.  I think of Marc Faber chastizing Bernanke.......

'If the printing of money was such a great idea, then Zimbabwe would be the richest country.  The president of which, Robert Mugabe, BTW was the mentor of Ben Bernanke.'

Classic

Also:

"I keep in my toilet a picture of Mr. Bernanke. And every time I think about selling my gold, I look at it and I know better!"

He won it I believe.

He created a new Uganda branch of the nobel committee.

Just as valid as Obozo's anyway.

Yes, where is Mr. Nobel Peace Prize?

Oh that's right, he's chasing down an American Citizen who exposed Obama and CONgress's trampling of The Constitution.

How many hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars did we give to the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi so they could go Authoritarian/Sectarian and ignore their Constitution?

Mr. Kerry?

Slightly wrong. He's chasing a stray ball in the rough somewhere in Africa.

It's amazing that 'he' found and killed Bin Laden, something no one else supposedly could do for over a decade, yet he can't find a guy in a fucking airport.  /sarc
