BTW in evil, conservative, hillbilly, redneck TX universities I have not seen robocops and pepper-spraying of students. Students can protest all they want here, and our police is actually very reasonable. Great irony that liberal CA is mistreating students much worse than TX.

Yeah, such an irony. Most especially when you are pulled by the Texas state patrol on a desert road and your wife is terrorized as they proceed to tear your fucking vehicle apart, quiz you down about the prescription meds you take, ask why you are driving and not flying to california, wonder at the jewelry you have and try to steal your gun.

The irony is, this happened not once, but twice!

Remember, it is what you do not see that is reality.

I wrote about university cops, and not the regular ones. Regular ones are the same as everywhere - some of them full of themselves and thinking that they are above law, others are decent. Although so far even regular ones have been OK - and I have been pulled over for speeding near Ft Stockton and Odessa. Just do not be a smartass and for most part they will be OK. Border patrol in those parts is different issue - they pull you over and harass for nothing.

O YA? Well then.. give it a few years!  After the California government/high-tax loving puke move & settle into Texas and appeal to hispanics' feelings on feminisim and 'fairness' and turn them into a voting class, then you'll see those same results.

We already have the same % of hispanics as CA. So I think CA problems are not in them, but rather in different folks who run their state into ground and are now moving to TX and will try to do same here.

BTW you might want to check Hispanic attitudes to feminism - you might be surprised.

it is ironic, but remember they voted for they terminator and their cops are the best paid almost anywhere

actually it isn't ironic at all as today's liberals aren't really liberal, they are authoritarians so in fact it makes sense one of the lead architects of American tyrany would head up one of the country's most "liberal" institutions in the most "liberal' of states.

Here's a video of some of California's finest in Fullerton allegedly beating a mentally ill person to death

Some of the worst cities beating protestors with that group (I have already forgotten the name) - the ones on Wall Street too - were liberal cities.  Oakland was horrible.

Please, you are insulting the memory of authoritarian old right wing dictators everywhere (think Franco and Pinochet) who demanded that you obey them.

Liberals are not authoritarian, rather they are TOTALITARIAN - they will make you obey them by controlling every aspect of your life, and the way you think, and the very words you use to describe them.

How will you scream when you have no mouth?

You are mistaken, as illustrated by the fact that liberal and totalitarian are entirely different words with entirely different meanings. In fact, there are very few liberals today, and no liberal political party except maybe the Green.

Surveillance and policing must form a strong component of the education system. In fact there shoud be either a mandatory course on the benefits of a police state and eventually a whole faculty and degrees, dedicated to Security of the Homeland, where students will be trained in the use of tasers, tracking down whistleblowers, crowd control, media manipulation, running Guantanamo type facilities, electronic surveillance etc.

I am sure Janet will introduce such a course eventually.

Go Janet.........all the way to hell.

To think after decades of academics running the university of California system that finally an alumnus (figurative) of campus police is taking their rightful place at the top

There are a lot of campus police walking tall and proud today in California

Big Sis resigning;

"Janet Napolitano, the U.S. secretary of Homeland Security and former governor of Arizona, is being named as the next president of the University of California system, in an unusual choice that brings a national-level politician to a position usually held by an academic, The Times has learned. Her appointment also means the 10-campus system will be headed by a woman for the first time in its 145-year history.

Napolitano’s nomination by a committee of UC regents came >>>after a secretive process<<< that insiders said focused on her early as a high-profile, although untraditional, candidate who has led large public agencies and shown a strong interest in improving education."

Yes, it was, a mixed metaphor leading off in different directions.

I have always found Big Sis dull & dimwitted, so anything she would say in the future would be a "hollow point" to me. Now she is being put Forward! (by secret vote) to be president of the university system of California with no real qualifications, aside from being one head of the Hydra-Stasi...the damage she can do there (the hollowing out of future students minds) is, naturally, incalculable.

Then of course, there was the hollow point bullets she claimed from manufacturers that we are all familiar with.

"I expect she'll die soon."

Howdy Angus.

You got the last part exactly correct. There is no escape from the accumulating radiation from fukushima that rains down on and into california every day. Even now the fukushima catastrophe is percolating and spewing massive amounts of cesium into the environment. Always watch that jet stream and know it is there in various amounts and in waves that are high and low in the concentrations. Most people on the west coast are like the proverbial walking dead. There was a lot of information put out about how radiation poisoning effects the human brain over time. Can you say zombie?

And did you know that reptiles have a greater resistance to radiation in the environment than humans do? Just saying that ol what ever it is nappypolitano might feel right at home there in calaforny. Turn towards the east and wonder, what now comes into her position as the head of the gestapo after this thing leaves?
