Ben has an interesting sign
It speaks to the nation's decline
He wants assets higher
And fools as a buyer
This moron is crossing the line
The Limerick King
OBAMO is holding a bat
With the Repugs he's having a spat
A swing and amiss
We reach the abyss
And nothing is dumber than that!

Haha...liked the "Mad IMF" one the best.

Go Kato!
What, WB7, is this behemoth?

Could it actually fly - or is it just a photo-fiction?
Love the pile of gold.
Its burried under the "W"
or the W bush
Keynes has nothing to do with the world we live in. We have loose monetary policy and fiscal austerity. That is a Milton Friedman world. In fact, our economic policy is everything the banks would want - money to keep thier assets primed but reduced spending to lower their future potential tax obligations. Do you recall Keynes as being an agent of big banks? The fact that the people who run this website have no clue about basic economic theories should make you question EVERYTHING they say - because it is likely to be wrong.
I have a hard time looking at the growth of federal spending under obama and understanding your claim of fiscal austerity.
Basics? Here are basics for you, Free Market governed by Rule of Law vs Centrally Controlled Market governed by Kleptocrats. Not hard to see which you favor.
yeah its a bit like blaming Hitler on Nietzsches philosophy of the superman, or attributing the business use of social darwinism to darwins work. (interesting that FN did not agree with the necessity of competitiveness according to social darwinism) and Friedman was a guy who used economic theory to mask a policy of regime change, much as Greenspan and all this brethren used economic policy to endear themselves to the political class, (the encumbent party) and gain legitimacy for their (hypothetical) science. the beauty of these images is they reinforce the political theatre. nobody gets hurt, its a halloween show with spaghetti for entrails and ketchup for blood. in the final outcome things will change but not because of the morality play such is this debt default. to which any rational person could say bring it on just to expose the farce.
I have an opinion too. All four of you are likely to be wrong. Deflation will be the order of the day. Ain't this stuff fun?
That's what Keynes would say. In fact, that is what Krugman said and he has also said that he is surprised that deflation hasn't been more of a force, though inflation has certainly been very, very restrained.
if Krugmans surprised hes playing a halloween joke on himself. boo is scared myself. of course deflation is their greatest fear. "we can solve inflation in 15 minutes.." BB
It's a mad mad, mad world is one of the all time best comedy movies. Sheer mayhem and greed played funny. And the working together of comic geniuses was a surprise. Top comedy though goes to B Wilder's Some Like it Hot.
sometimes these epic comedies just run out of ideas by the end, but not this one, that scene with the firetrucks and ladders in (Union?) plaza in LA is the best finale ever, and of course the epilogue scene in the hospital and Ethel Mermans classic slip on the banana peel gag.
i am slightly less than ambivalent about most of BWilders work, prefer the 7 Year Itch to Some Like It Hot.
This is without a doubt one of my top three movies of all time. I used to love the way "Hollywood" would take so many of the top comedians and have them play quick snippit parts in some of these shows. Another one I've thought of similarly would be Cannonball Run. Classic. Thanks for the smile this morning.
love the irony

it's W's fault

Queen Victoria, it was said, so enjoyed Alice's Adventures in Wonderland that she asked for Mr Lewis Caroll's next book. She received Condensation of Determinants, a learned mathematical treatise published by Lewis Caroll under his real name, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.
In today's world, it would seem, we are confronted with the exact opposite: we ask for a solid economic manual to pull us out of this mess, but all we get is the Wondrous Adventures of the Magical Multiplying Moneymaker.
You could have put this Sarah pic in there untouched...or put Ted on the stool behind her.
Purty on the outside fo sho. Saves work for the artist, no?
Thanks WB7...In your opinion do you think that's real or her head photoshopped on someone else's body?
I'm not really sure...
The neck doesn't look right. But if you do an unflitered image search of Palin, there is nothing left to the imagination.
thx, what I was thinking too. but I have zero experience in manipulation of photos...looks like a very long neck.
That could be fun though.
LOL Tina Fey's head on Palins body
TF is much better looking
BRAVO !!!!! Made my day
What, no food and beverage warning for this one? That's sort of courageous ...
Brints?
That's a great movie. Though the modern incarnation is sucking it hard thanks to its current cast of assclowns...
FUCK YOU Bernanke, Yellin, Timmay, Lew, Pelosi, FrankenFeinstein, Reid, Boner, Canter, McConnell, crazy uncle Joe, Osbama, and all you other fucktards in DC too numerous to list. You're all bunch of stinking disease laden cockroaches!
Nice job WB, as always.

You mean pretend paper money is actually only worth a piece of paper? I guess a Government based on pretend money is only a pretend Government.
Isn't it fun to play along?
Lets all pretend that we really have a Government!
Six million views on Flickr...

Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer publicly defends decision to comply with NSACongrats and thanks for the images!
Bravo, Mr Banzai !

Cannot but wonder if there is more of a way to monetise the high viewership, re internet ads on one of WB7's own websites, using the flickr photo depository as an image database
Similar to Tyler's income from ZeroHedge ads
Maybe WB7 has explored everything, and I am no marketing expert ... but it seems to me likely that something powerful could be done in this regard
A central William Banzai website owned by WB7, with ads on it, and much more of text ... where you archive your commentary and thoughts ... the text significantly helping to drive the traffic from the search engines
In Europe we have super-cheap international web hosting from One.com in Denmark (offered in English and other languages)
Maybe a special site, too, for art with William Banzai Babes ... yes, I like that ...
I understand the economics of it. And it has been suggested to me many times.
But the bottom line is I don't like internet ads, I complain about Google Ads all the time and I am not going to turn around and do it myself. I am also not going to disparage others who do it to raise cashflow to support their blog. But I will not do it.
Most importantly, I like the thematic synergy I get here.
So for the time being, I prefer to stick with the Fine Art Prints which are a fine medium of personal exchange as all who have acquired same to date will attest.
Of course Flickr is running ads around my work and that is another issue. Setting up a website that has all the functionality of Flickr would be a major undertaking and would also be a cash drain.

That reminds me: I met a young lady who was so attractive that I couldn't help but ask her to help me fulfill my deepest and darkest desires...
"Uh I"d like a small decaf and an oatmeal muffin please."
Hey! That muffin had raisins in it!
