A HaRRY ENDiNG...
The people don't understand Reid
He seems like a whole different breed
He's hopelessly dense
And not making sense
We're not even sure he can read
The Limerick King
Boehner is making us hurl
We're watching him fight like a girl
And if he can't win
He'll do a quick spin
And finish his jabs with a twirl
The Limerick King
.

Boehner does give a voice to EVERYONE in the house, which is more than you could say for Pelosi (the Dems are Statist, ok?) if Boehner gets removed it will be someone even more sympatheic to Tea Party agenda, in other words no more Mr Nice Guy. OBoehner will rue the day he won this minor battle.
Yes, there will be blowback for both sides from this latest charade.
Here's to the 800,000 "non-essential" good for nothings who just got a paid two week vacation.
In the real world they are called "redundant." In the Vichy world, they are called active constitutents.
Putting aside the current debacle, I think the GOP lays in shambles and Cruz will probably get the last laugh.
The whole GOP geezer shelf is going to get shucked and chucked in short order. Why? Because they are feckless, hypocritical asstards who bow to the same masters as Obozo.
mcconnell may be in danger of ending up in a KFC bucket as the Colonel Sanders Co. is in his hometown...
Even funnier than usual! Great stuff, I needed the laughs.
Limerick King's rhyme for Boxing Boehner works so very well.
Someone figured out that they can pay down the deficit with JP Morgan fines.
Boner is totally done. He should retire ASAP. His district should elect Mr. Underwood, at least he knows how to play to win.
Mt. Debtmore!!! Great image!
WB7, how about a picture of a Boner-faced pachyderm posing in front of a giant CAVE?
Is too funny - sad yes but still berry berry funny!
Excellent work, as usual, WB VII.
Is the last picture appropriately titled, The Circumcision of the Boner"?
I didn't know that Harry was triplets.
Mt. Debtmore is fucking genius. +1000
I kind of visualize Mt. Debtmore a different way, though. I see it as four giant stone penises, and each visitor to the monument is required to drop their trousers and bend over in front of them.
not sure who is worse, Cruz or Boner, but right now I'm thinking Cruz
At least Cruz took a stand on principle, Boehner wouldn't know principle if it slapped him in the face, held him down and forced him to like it.
Once the People get a good dose of ObamaCare, Cruz will look like a clairvoyant.
Mark my words.
The book is out on Cruz still but how he handles the ass-whupin he is taking for sticking his neck out there is going to tell the tale, something I can't say about Dandy Randy or Lee. I personally believe he let his personal ambition cloud better judgement on this one. Not saying he shouldn't have made a public stand but learn from the mistakes made in this fight. The fight is far from over the real problem is the debt ceiling agreement not the Obamacare funding part. Obamacare is the distraction to keep the R/L division distracted from the real problem which is they basically voted themselves an unlimited credit limit with no internal consequences.
Dimon is going to look prescient in his fiscal discipline is going to be forced on us from the outside since this deal pretty much guarantees it now.
+1
The jury is out on any of them, yes including Cruz. But (the big but) to my way of thinking, the ass whipping he took at the hands of the Senate establishment (outside of a few supporters) & Boehner speaks to his principled stand for me. He was elected to fight against ObamaCare, in the Senate and thats just what he did.
Now whether thats a backdoor "Goldman" trojan...lol, sorry...to placate TP, reamains to be seen.
I would point out (if I were a Wall Street trader) there has been leakage in the health insurance & IT sectors during the last few weeks (but I'm not).
(Just fucking with Zer0head...lol)
if one takes a stand on principle
at what point do they yield that principle?
Cruz is cut from the same cloth as Boner, only difference is he didn't drink the Orange Kool-Aid
did you watch that self righteous fuck (Cruz) waxing eloquent as the ship goes down
he's little different than Captain Francesco Schettino; Cruz near the coast to impress some friends but when it hits the rocks and starts to take on water, put on a dress and abandon ship
As I said Fuck Cruz, traitor bastard
WTF are you talking about? Yielding to the point of superior numbers is not yielding the point of principle.
If you're sittin around thinkin he (or me) has changed our minds one iota on ObamaCare or quasi-single payer or what-the-fuck-ever this is because of the futility of that stand (now) you are sadly mistaken.
This fight isn't over by a long shot.
"I think it is likely that it will take another election for a full repeal..." - Cruz
That is not the statement of a traitor.
Now tell me I am...
It ain't over til it's over...
Ya have to admit it's hard to be a Rocky when you got Cinderella as a cornerman.
Cruz needs to run with a better crowd.
So we will allow them to, once again, turn us against each other.
A few good men, making a principled stand against an obvious wrong and losing. And no one comes to their defense, they didn't fight hard enough, they didn't do it the way I would have done it...blah blah blah blah.
Maybe when naysayers actually put their ass on the line it will mean something to me.
nmewn- well said. I stand by Rand Paul and Thomas Massie, Mitch McConnell is history. To the twinkie that down arrowed you- whatever...
here's what he could have done
Stood up in the Senate and asked for others to join him as he objects to the bill
alternatively he could have stood up in the Senate and announced he was leaving the GOP caucus
but no, all he did was outline the disaster that this legislation is even though he had the poweer to at the very least delay it
Senator Cruz chose to take the easy way out
Who did the last filibuster in the Senate? Who did the one before him and for what completely different purpose?
It was Cruz and Rand wasn't it? I don't see a soul standing up to federal tyranny in the Senate except these two and a few others.
So what do you propose...a bloodbath...
You need to run for office, Zer0head, and show America "how it's done." Ted Cruz and company were outgunned from the very start. Your attacking the wrong person (people). Cruz tried to make a difference for the people who are not represented on the Senate floor: the U.S taxpayer. Why is it that you can't see that?
Maybe he can see that and isn't happy about it. Only someone who works for the propagandists would be freaked out by Cruz like he is.
What could one expect from a man married to a Gold MAN-Sachs whore? His taste in women matches his fidelity to principle.
What would you say if you knew Banzai was once a Wall Street trader or even me?
Is this the fidelity to principle you're looking for?
the difference is like Bruce Krasting and WmB, which is to say obvious to everyone
What would you say if you knew Banzai was once a Wall Street trader or even me?
for the "even me" comment I ask:
Why would you find it important to share that?
some would suggest insecurity - others might suggest douchebaggery
My guess is neither, just some old dude recounting war stories... pathetic
Ahhh, now we're getting down to it.
You're young. You have been exposed to truth and have decided "like an old fart" that things aren't quite right. So naturally, you lash out at...
No you're the one who is pathetic. And I'm obviously senile at fiddy four, apparently...lol.
My opinion of you evolves just as yours does of me.
Happy yet? ;-)
ahh. "the Dread Douchebaggery" assault. I think we appear petty, vindictive, aloof and pecuniary. not an expert but the irony that Republicans might be rewarded for this is not lost on me. Stand on principle? dude...this is money and Government. "the only stand is a futile one" (Jamie Demon and his Succubii missive duly noted of course.) what still remains to be explained is not why equities popped today but why did Treasuries too. this might be impossible to fathom here but universal health INSURANCE might turn out to be a net positive too. it should be interesting to see if some definition of "care" emerges in the Affordable CARE Act. The Demon might be steamin' but the Devil is still in the details.
I see you stand as "companions" in the shadowland,
Straining for a deep-pocketed mark. Whore's game afoot:
Follow fast increased borrowing, and upon this seditiousness.
Ever crying 'Cabbage for Harry, the FSA, and indebtedness!'
I'm not in a high brow mood, I'm in a club swinging mood.
what would you say if you knew that me and banzai used to both be senators?
from new york?
Hillary and Alphonse
Banzai, I hope you understand what I was saying in all this, it was by no means a slam on you.
He's been dragged, kicking and screaming like the woosie he is into every fight worth having.
We can expect nothing less in his last.
Even given the clowns in DC are giving you enormous material, this batch is so frickin' outstanding I sincerely regret only being able to give one up arrow each.
Then I got to the Boehner guillotine with dear Senator Cruz looking SO fake sad, and I just lost it.
Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and another RICO going down, orange tan and all.
Priceless.
Did you know October 16 is literally Execution Day?
Thats perfect. Btw, dont let me near you Banzai7 with a can opener because I would have to open up your cranium to see whats in there... Whatever it is I want some.
Brilliant, my friend.
Thank you. I owe you a credit of thanks.
Looks like Karl Childers....I reckon...
Get him Matt.
