NSA Spied on World Bank, IMF, UN, Pope, World Leaders, and American Politicians and Military Officers

George Washington's picture

It came out this week that the NSA spied on the headquarters of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and United Nations.

It was also alleged that the NSA spied on the Vatican and the Pope.

Congressman Rand Paul asks whether the NSA might be spying on President Obama as well.

Congressman Devin Nunes said in that the Department of Justice was tapping phones in the Congressional cloak room.

Sounds crazy …

But it is well-documented that the NSA was already spying on American Senators more than 40 years ago.

And a high-level NSA whistleblower says that the NSA is spying on – and blackmailing – top government officials and military officers, including Supreme Court Justices, high-ranked generals, Colin Powell and other State Department personnel, and many other top officials. And see this:

He says the NSA started spying on President Obama when he was a candidate for Senate:

Another very high-level NSA whistleblower – the head of the NSA’s global intelligence gathering operation – says that the NSA targeted CIA chief Petraeus.

Of course, the NSA also spied on the leaders of Germany, Brazil and Mexico, and at least 35 world leaders total.

The NSA also spies on the European Union, the European Parliament, the G20 summit and other allies.

A confidential government memo admits that the spying didn’t help prevent terrorism:

The memo acknowledges that eavesdropping on the numbers had produced “little reportable intelligence”.

Because the leaders of allies such as Germany, Brazil, Mexico, the EU and G-20 have no ties to Al Qaeda terrorists, the spying was obviously done for other purposes.

The NSA conducts widespread industrial espionage on our allies. That has nothing to do with terrorism, either.  And the  NSA’s industrial espionage has been going on for many decades.

Indeed, there is no evidence that mass surveillance has prevented a single terrorist attack. On the contrary, top counter-terror experts say that mass spying actually hurts U.S. counter-terror efforts (more here and here).

If NSA spying were really focused on terrorism, our allies and companies wouldn’t be fighting back so hard against it.

Hey GW look what Feinstein has just said : Senate Intelligence Committee Passes Bill That Codifies, Expands NSA Powers

NSA's EXPANDED powers are now set in stone. So much for reigning in NSA OVERREACH as she screeched earlier on.

What a cave in!

Mutti has no choice but to call in Snowden to testify in front of EU commission on NSA shenanigans in Europe.

You can bet your last dollar this is now casus belli between USA and allies.

That's what's crazy about all this.  The one's spied on the most are Politicians, NSA employees, Judges, Corporations, Governments, etc.  These assholes are the very people who authorize, work for, aid, assist and ally the spying on themselves.  It's almost a comedy watching this shit unfold and our stupid government thinks it's good.

I think the wide range of folks that we've recently been told the NSA has data on points to the probability that the NSA is not targeting anyone.  They are probably just capturing the data from any phone call made anywhere in the world.

That would be the simplest way to operate.  Just grab everybody's data.  Then they can mine the data for the specific key words or phrases they are looking for, at will.

No, Angela Merkel, for instance, was specifically targeted. Her phone number appears on a list produced by Snowden.

It's not about terrorism or even imperialism. It's a totalitarian power grab by the executive branch.

No one seems to understand that this effectively nullifies the core of the US constitution.

Not that anyone listens to him, but Jimmy Carter spoke frankly and accurately when he said we don't have a functioning democracy.

The SCOTUS, congress, military leaders and even the POTUS can be manipulated if you have their dirty secrets.

None of this surprises me but it does confuse me a little.

If the NSA is spying on everyone, outside and inside, including the freaking POTUS, then who the hell does the NSA work for?

Is it just a rogue outfit or is there a higher power in control?  Higher than the administration.

No joke.

It's a really good question. I'd put my money on the Bank for International Settlements, and more specifically, the Financial Stability Board.

The FSB (chairman: Mark Carney; previous chairman: Mario Draghi; both alums of Goldman) is the group that's been instructing national legislatures everywhere, including the U.S. Congress, on what bank resolution rules to put in place ahead of the next meltdown (aka, bail-in procedures). It's also the FSB that circulates the list of G-SIFIs (global systemically important financial institutions), which are never prosecuted, even when their crimes are clear cut and they don't deny criminal behavior. HSBC comes to mind. Holder and Breuer said they were relying on "expert" opinions that prosecuting HSBC would destabilize the financial system, but never identified those experts despite being instructed to by Sens. Grassley and Brown.

Scarcely anyone covers the FSB, even though it's rather apparent that the FSB is in full control of the DOJ and Congress on several key matters, and that Holder in turn is Obama's boss (as Geithner was in the previous term). From there the math is rather easy.

That neither the FSB nor the BIS appears to be monitored by the NSA is surprising. At all.

But who really knows? My .02...

As I posted yesterday, the order of control is:

Grand masters of planet Earth -> un-named elites -> named elites -> bankstas -> politicos -> politico asskissers -> scum.

Your or my knowledge ends at the named elites. Therefore your assumptions are entirely true. That is all.

"Grand masters of planet Earth -> un-named elites -> named elites -> bankstas -> politicos -> politico asskissers -> scum.

Your or my knowledge ends at the named elites."

Poster Skaterboarder words above (in regards to who the NSA reports to) strike me as apt and deserve expounding.

Named/unnamed elites would encompass a family such as the rothchilds I imagine.
Why would i say this?   Because Paul Warburg (the primary force behind the founding of the Fed) was a highly skilled & savvy young German immigrant widely acknowledged as an agent for the rothschild. He was employed by a rothschild owned bank.  Paul's son later stated in a U.S. Senate inquiry something to the effect of "there will be one world government wither you wish it of not".

As far as the "Grand masters of planet Earth" part, whoa .... that's a sketchy part. Not sure it even exists. Just as a warning though, any investigations into this issue will likely encounter claims about aliens and other such stuff. I'm not swayed to go there even though I would deem folk who believe we're the only intelligent life in the universe as "flat-earthers". Ugh, let's save this for another time and concentrate on items with more historical validation.

Apparently the powerful banking families of Venice began migrating to western Europe around the 1500-1600s. It seems there was a good chance they were principal players involved in the founding of the Bank of Amsterdam and Bank of England in the roughly ... 1600/1700 time frame, predating the appearance of rothchilds by 100 years. All this is a cursory, high level outline. I encourage you to investigate on your own.

There's evidence that the infamous J.P.Morgan himself was bankrolled to a large degree by rothschild funds and wasn't even in their league financially. So the record shows there were major entities behind the kings/queens/emperors/parliaments/business maggots of all that surface history we "learned" in school.

Do you think these underlying entities that bankrolled puppets just faded away .... or instead learned that discretion and layers of abstraction is preferred (especially after one of their own foolish shot their mouth off at a party by stating something to the effect  that "when one controls a currency they control  a country").

Why bring all this up?

Again, does anyone really believe the NSA is doing all their spying to simply thwart "terrorists". If so you're likely naive enough to belief in Santa Claus, and that you'll ever receive back even your Social Security confiscations. Or perhaps if the definition of "terrorist" is anyone not compliant to the corrupt status quo.

As I've stated before .... this is about Control. Control of the masses, control of the world. The NSA is apparently a captured agency, just as much as congress, the executive branch and the judicial branch (i.e. Roberts swing vote ruling Obamacare a tax even after congress/pres claimed it most certainly wasn't such. FU chief justice roberts. You're as much a sellout as Colin Powell lyin his ass off in front of the U.N. with the result being a million people died.

While on the subject of grand masters: I about fell out of my chair watching this very entertaining presentation by Michael Tellinger.

Without accepting all the premises, one will still find it entertaining and informative (much already well-known and understood by ZH, which adds to its credibility) with some excellent technology demonstrations.

"Michael did a presentation at the Global Breakthrough Energy Movement (BEM) conference in 2012. In this session, he describes free energy system from ancient civilisations, and finishes off with his model for a society based on contributionism, or UBUNTU."

Why is it that every candidate says one thing (whatever gets him elected) then immediately reverts to the status quo once in office? Why is Obama acting in ways that cause him to lose support from his early and mid backers (like not fighting against the TPP, using drones to the blow-back extent, hiring the banksters to oversee the henhouse) when he was adamantly opposed to those very policies? And, quite outspoken.

It's almost like he - and everyone else elected into office - is being blackmailed. Like someone has something ruinous on them and they have to comply on pain of exposure resulting in (pick one): impeachment, jail, ridicule, loss of home/family.

There may be a simpler explanation to recent events than Bilderbergers, or any other "conspiracy theory". Maybe it's just Hoover on steroids. Maybe the dark actors are right there in Langely. James Bamford's opinion might be important here.
