with all the pass through revenue Amazon has become an old fashioned monopoly. what Bezos should do is open his own line of consumer credit and slash rates (hey if you're going to lose money, go big) but right now the CC companies (and the banks) are making a fortune off consumers while the T market is ZIRP, makes no sense. consumer credit is way too expensive relative to all other credit.
Fortunately, I live close enough to Delaware to drive and avoid sales taxes on <$2000.00 purchases.
I no longer have any use for Amazon, because they now collect sales tax, and living in the shopping mall capital of the East Coast affords me total choice of products, should I choose to actually enter a brick and mortar establishment.
don't buy anything that you really don't need... buy what you need local if possible, from independent producers and sellers. avoid large corporate chains. freedom from fascism starts with small personal choices.
Jeff's PR Holiday greeting attempt courtesy of the NSA and DoD to show American shoppers that drones can be "naughty" and "nice".
They certainly can see us when we're "asleep" and "awake"!

" I Joe Bidenized that motherfucking drone, Martha !
" Fuck you Jeff Bezos, and the drone you rode in on. "
We are ROTFL at Banzai7's "True Facts." Leafblowers lol.
@williambanzai7 ;-)
What's he delivering anyway, MP3s?
Do we purchase "flight insurance" for the drone delivery just in case our neighbor shoots the sucker out of the sky.
<What I really want to know is will the drone be able to deliver 3000 feet up here on the mountain?>
Shoot it with your leaf blower.

You lose a little of your humanity every time you enter Delaware so keep your exposure time to a minimum.
Do off balance sheet profits count as profits.
Buy nothing

Nope, just not going to play.
Somehow, it all seems.... vaguely deflationary.
The noose tightens!
Creepy, feel we're heading to a state where the drones and not the collies or screws guard the pens. Everyone's redundant.
Algos hft, drones, driverless cars a lot to look forward too in the tech age. Human cheerless efficiency.
Gotta go now my healthcare worker arrives in half an hour to apply my vaginisal cream for hormonal imbalances.
Truly amazing now AMZn has brought Instant gratification to a new level. The next phase of collapse, materialsm.
Amazon the next Wal-Mart of cyber space? Good skeet shoot practice or something more sinister? Dones away!
Purchase shot gun at Walmart, shoot down Amazon drone. Lock and Load!
cash burn is causing global warming
Don't count Amazon or Bezos out just yet, he'll morph his fortune into something more controlling at the appropriate time...
