Easy to dismiss as mere satire and mockery of the powerful, but it's a rare talent that can capture the bitter sweet nature of comedy in the absurd and the terrifying aspects of the often painful truth.

Many thanks WB7 for your works this year that often had me in coffee spilling guffaws and grimacing in anger in equal measures. Happy New Year to you mate and everyone who frequent these pages.

I wish I can list everyone who made me think twice or given the gift of camaraderie in these uncertain times, to thank them for their posts, even those who disagreed, but suffice to say there are too many to mention. Keep posting and good luck in 2014.

wb7, you have picked the right weapon. contemporary artists have become mere extension of the establishment, whose work carries no meaning or significance to the betterment of mankind and is only celebrated by the sponsors such as banks and corporations to be used as another vehicle to park their CEOs wealth in. painting pretty or abstract pictures is as 'practical' as writing poetry by aligning words which only rhyme.

you're an artist in the true sense of the word and may your sword stay sharp in 2014!
